Love’ss 195

Chapter 195

Madelyn pulled out a tissue, wiped her palms, and then threw it in Easton’s face with disdain.

“Scumbag!” she cursed.

Easton’s chest heaved with anger. Madelyn turned and walked away, but Easton caught up as she reached her car, and he slipped into the passenger seat

Madelyn’s eyes narrowed.

“Do you want me to kill you right now?” she asked icily.

Easton didn’t budge. His voice was unusually firm.

“Maddie, we need to talk.”

Roger had just stepped out of his car when he saw Easton in Madelyn’s vehicle. A cold glint flashed in his eyes. He was about to intervene when his phone rang.

He glanced at the caller ID, then at Madelyn’s car, and finally decided not to approach.

Inside the car, Madelyn stared coldly at Easton.

“Aren’t you getting out? Fine!”

Easton couldn’t gauge what her words meant, but her dangerous tone sent chills down his spine. Before he could react, Madelyn pulled a bottle from the glove compartment and sprayed it wildly in his eyes.

Easton screamed as the burning sensation blinded him Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

Madelyn got out, opened the passenger door, and yanked Easton out before tossing him to the ground, He curled up in pain with his face contorted in agony. Without a backward glance, Madelyn returned to her car and sped off.

Roger, still on the phone, watched in shock as Madelyn ruthlessly left the bloodied Easton on the ground. He was stunned into silence.

He had previously doubted whether Madelyn had indeed severed ties with Easton, but after witnessing that scene, he believed it. This was brutal.

Andrew was in a meeting at Miller Group when his phone buzzed. He glanced at the message, and his pupils were blow

wide.

The atmosphere in the conference room froze as everyone exchanged confused looks.

Andrew stared at the two photos on his phone. One showed Easton and Madelyn holding hands in the hospital lobby, and the other showed Easton getting into her car. Rage surged through him.

He questioned if this was the reason she went to the hospital.

“Rowan!” he yelled.

“What’s wrong, Mr. Miller?” Rowan asked, glancing up from the meeting notes.

His pulse quickened as he met Andrew’s cold, threatening gaze.

Andrew’s forehead veins throbbed ominously. He stood abruptly, and the chair crashed to the floor, accelerating everyone’s heartbeats.

Rowan hurried after Andrew as the latter stormed out of the conference room and headed toward the elevator.

Andrew’s phone buzzed, with Madelyn’s name flashing on the screen. He answered it, and her cheerful voice came through.

“Hey, darling. Are you still at the office?”

Andrew gritted his teeth, wondering if she was upbeat because of Easton.

“Where are you?”

“In the car.”

“Where are you headed?”

“To the studio. Why?”

Madelyn detected something off in Andrew’s tone but chose not to pursue it.

“Come to the office now. I’ll wait for you downstairs.”

“I can’t. I’m swamped today,” Madelyn replied without hesitation.

She was telling the truth. The studio was indeed chaotic that day.

Andrew stood by the elevator, feeling a wave of frustration wash over him at her refusal. He abruptly ended the call, turned on his heel, and returned to his office.

Rowan followed anxiously.

Inside the office, Andrew’s face was set in a grim line.

“Make sure Easton never sees the light of day again.”

From Andrew’s command, Rowan understood it was time to move against Horizon

They had initially only planned to deal with Horizon International Group, but Elijah’s return had complicated matters. Elijah was not to be underestimated.

al Group.

Andrew had intended to uncover Elijah’s plans before taking action, but now he couldn’t bear to wait any longer.

Rowan quickly understood the gravity of the situation and nodded.

“Yes. I’ll take care of it immediately.”

With that, he left to carry out the orders.
