I Rejected You, Alpha

ROSIE’S POV

—

A hand lightly strokes my cheek , “Wake up Rosalie .” Dwayne’s voices rings through my ears and I inwardly g***n that he thinks that’s my name .

It’s just Rosie .

“Rosie .” I correct him and the tension build in the car as my eyes flutter open . I notice all these houses and trees , lot’s of trees .

“Where are we ?” I ask as I sit upright , my eyes feeling heavy and I don’t think I have slept that peacefully in years .

“At the golden wolves pack .” Dwayne smiles and even if I should feel relaxed , I don’t .

What if Eleia isn’t even here ?

“Calm down .” Dwayne mutters and I know that he could smell my anxiety mixed with fear .

“I don’t want to die .” I mutter , my hand grabbing his arm that lays on the console between us .

He breaks a bit , “Is your friend going to kill you ?” He asks worriedly and I scoff , “No , but what if she’s not even here ?” I panic and he sighs , “I don’t think alpha Aiden would know what she told me to tell you if she weren’t .” He shrugs and that makes a solid point .

I nod , relaxing a bit , “Okay .”

As I take my eyes off Dwayne , I see her .

My entire body jolts in happiness and I absentmindedly grab Dwayne’s hand , “There she is .” I breathe out , my throat tight as I have my eyes glued to her .

My eyes land on the man’s hand she’s holding , he’s gorgeous . His black hair shines in the sun and from afar , I could tell that his eyes were bright , probably blue .

“Who’s that ?” I gulp and Dwayne pulls his hand from mine , shifting gears as he slows down , “That’s alpha Aiden .” He clears his throat before the car comes to a halt .

I see her ripping away from him as she darts towards the car and I curse under my breath as I struggle with my seatbelt .

Dwayne unbuckles it for me and I open the car door .

“Rosie !” ELEIA’S cheerful voice rings through my ears as I run towards her .

Our bodies slam together and I wrap my arms around her neck , a sob ripping through me .

“You’re safe .” She breathes into my hair as her arms are wrapped around my waist , holding me close to her .

“I am .” I croak as hot wet tears run down my cheeks .

I push her back , looking at her tear stained cheeks , “Why are we here ?” Is the first thing I ask , I don’t know why she came here k I don’t know why she held the alpha’s hand and I really hope he’s a long lost brother or something .

“Alpha Aiden is my second chance mate .” She explains , the edges of her lips curling up into a small smile and even if my heart is overflowing with joy for her , it’s also overflowing with anger for Regan .

“So Alpha Regan rejected you ?” I ask with a sad gaze in my eyes and she gulps , her beautiful forest orbs flicking to the ground as she nods .

“I’ll kill him . I swear Eleia .” I grit out but my body suddenly calms unexpectedly , the tension in the air shifts as a musky scent fills my nose .

“What is that smell ?” I murmur clueless and Eleia frowns at me , a confused expression covering her face .

“What smell ? All I smell is sweat .” She scrunches her nose up and she turns to look behind her and then I see him as I glance past her brown locks .

A beautiful man , his hair light brown , almost a dark blonde , his honey pool eyes making me gasp , “Mate .” I breathe out and Eleia’s head snaps into my direction .

I notice her wide eyes staring at me , but I can’t look away .

He growls mate in a low tone and the vibration sends shivers all over my body .

Aiden grabs his arm , “Are you sure ?” He asks and the man nods before he walks towards me , “This is Stefan , Stefan , this is Rosie .” Eleia introduces us , but even if I heard her , all I focused on was his name .

Stefan .

Ste-fan .

It’s hot and sexy just like he is .

“It’s nice to meet you .” My chest rises as I speak and he grins before cupping my cheek and pulls me into him , his soft lips crashing against mine hungrily .

“Ok-ayy.” Eleia murmurs before she pads away , giggling with Alpha Aiden and my insides twist as Stefan slips his tongue into my mouth .

“Get a room Stefan !” Alpha Aiden teases and my body tenses at the thought of being alone with this man .

He’s gorgeous .

“Come on sweetheart.” He nods towards the inside of the house .

“Does this mean we don’t have to do her room ?” I hear Eleia ask her mate and confusion fills me as we follow them inside .

“Who’ house is this ?” I ask as I cling to my mate’s side , smiling as I glance around at the beautiful interior .

“Mine , I mean ours .” He glances at Eleia and my insides bloom with happiness for my best friend .

Now this is a real man .

“Do you still want your own room ?” Eleia asks k her eyes flicking to Stefan and once I lift my gaze to his , he’s staring down at me with hope in his eyes .

Do I want my own room ?

I guess it would be a waste if my mate is here , we’d be together all the time anyway .

I inhale a deep breath as I lock eyes on his honey pools , “If it’s okay with you , I think I’d like to share a room .” I smile and a huge , wide smile covers his face , showing off his beautiful pearly white teeth .

“I don’t mind a bit .” He picks me up , spinning me around and I get a bit dizzy .

“Woah !” Eleia bellows as she already reaches for me and I stumble to the side as he puts me down .

Eleia’s hands are on me and my eyes widen as I inhale a deep breath .

“I’m fine .” I shake it off , not wanting my mate to feel bad .

“No , can we get her something to eat , please ?” She begs Aiden and he nods , his eyes clouding over , “Is a sandwich alright ?” He asks , eyes still gray like stormy clouds .

“Yes .” Eleia answers for me as she walks me to a chair .

Stefan stands frozen , staring at me with wide panic filled eyes .

“What’s going on ?” Stefan asks confused and Aiden sighs , placing his hand on his shoulder .

“The Night Pack must be destroyed brother , that’s what .” Alpha Aiden mutters , his eyes dark with fury .

I glance at Eleia sitting next to me , “Are they brothers ?” My head leans closer to her as I speak and she giggles , shaking her head , “Best friends .” She winks and glances over at them as Aiden walks Stefan off , talking to him .

I try to listen , but all I could hear was a plan about destruction .

“You told him ?” I breathe out and Eleia sighs , ” I had to , otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to save you right away .” She breathes out , her voice shaky and my insides twist .

“I don’t want Stefan to know .” I shake my head and her bottom l*p sticks out in a pout , “It’s too late .” She sighs as she glances over at them and I hear alpha Aiden tell Stefan about everything Eleia said .

I watch as Stefan’s body stiffens , his hands balling into fists next to his sides , his biceps flexing , veins popping and the tension growing has me sucking in a sharp breath through my nose .

“It’s okay .” Eleia breathes out , rubbing circles on my back .

“Does he know about…” before I could finish my sentence , Stefan turns , hurriedly walking towards me .

“Let me see .” He seethes and even though I know that he isn’t mad at me , I shake in fear .

My bottom l*p trembles and I look at Eleia , “It will be okay .” She nods , encouraging me and I let out a shaky breath before standing up m turning my back to him .

I loosen my apron , tossing it to the floor before Eleia helps me lift my shirt .

I could feel his eyes boring into the gashes of my back and the back of my eyes sting as unshed tears rest on the rim of my eyes .Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Someone enters with my sandwich and Stefan tugs my shirt down , his chest colliding with my back and his arms wrap around my waist , holding me to him .

“It’ll be okay .” He whispers , kissing me on the top of my head before he takes the sandwich , thanking the omega and leads me track to the couch .

I give Eleia a look , a look asking if she saw that and she nods , a warm smile on her face and as I was about to sit down , Stefan sits and pulls me onto his lap , smiling up at me .

I think Eleia and I found our home , our safe place , our forever .
