Swept Into a Fairytale Marriage 37

Chapter 37 It’s Your Wife

Adrian sat in the seat near the wall where the setting sun filtered through the window, casting a soft glow over his handsome profile as if a divine light had gently enveloped him.

The decor was simple yet cozy.

He could tell that the owner of this shop was a woman with a deep love for life.

“Oh my God, he’s so handsome!

“He’s so handsome!”

The two girls at the next table nearby were completely captivated by his elegant and aristocratic demeanor, sharp brows, and alluring eyes.

He held the phone in the glow of the setting sun with his elegant and defined fingers as he began scanning the code to place the order.

The shop was small, but it offered a wide array of desserts.

Adrian scrolled through the options and couldn’t find anything named Sweet Sun. He couldn’t help but feel confused as he scrolled through the menu again to ensure he didn’t overlook anything. However, it was indeed not on the menu.

Could there be another Fairytale Cottage?

According to the information, this was the place Mark frequently visited.

“Sir, is everything alright?” Tina noticed his confusion and approached him. “Is there anything I can help you with?”

He glanced up when he heard that and said with a deep and magnetic voice, “Why isn’t Sweet Sun on the

menu?”

Tina was slightly stunned as she met his deep gaze and replied with a smile, “Sweet Sun is a dessert invented by our manager, but she no longer works here. We couldn’t recreate it, so it’s not on the menu.”

“Where is your manager now?” Adrian asked politely. Would it be possible to ask her to make it again? Money is no issue.”

Tina smiled as she shook her head. “I’m sorry, sir. I don’t think she has the time. She’s probably busy with

her work.”

A flicker of disappointment flashed through his eyes when he heard that.

However, Tina smiled as she said, “Sir, we do have other desserts she invented: We’ve all learned to make them just as well. Some said they tasted even better. Would you like to try it? Since it’s your first time here, we can give you a 20% discount.”

He had come here specifically for Sweet Sun.

Although he was slightly disappointed, he still ordered another dessert. “Hi, can I have your manager’s contact information?”

“I’m sorry. Our manager is married,” Tina replied with a smile. “I’m afraid it wouldn’t be appropriate.”

Adrian was slightly stunned. He couldn’t help but smile and explained, “I’m married too. I don’t have any other intentions. I’m just…”

“Just what?” Tina liked to listen to him talking. His magnetic voice was truly pleasing to the ears.

“I just want to ask her for a favor to make Sweet Sun once again. Price is negotiable,” he said sincerely. “1 don’t need to meet her and won’t bother her.”

Tina fell silent.

Adrian left his business card before he left and hoped she might consider it.

It wasn’t after he left that Tina finally glanced at the business card. She was dumbfounded. “What? He’s the CEO of Prestige Group?”

“Isn’t that…. Fay’s superior?” Sandra was shocked too. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

“Quick, call her and tell her about this!” Sandra urged. “It’ll be a breeze to get a promotion if she can please her superior!”

However, new customers walked in just as they were about to make the call.

A Lamborghini with its sleek body bathed in the dappled glow of the beautiful sunset cruised toward Floral Spring Residences.

Adrian sat in the back seat with a laptop on his lap. He looked charming while focusing on his work.

Meanwhile, Farrah had been home for over an hour now.

She was making desserts in the kitchen. They said the way to a man’s heart was through his stomach.

That was indeed true. She needed a favor from him tonight. Therefore, she was putting in the extra effort to please him.
