When Ronald came out of Royal Star, he saw two people standing next to his car in the parking lot, one was Jane, and the other was Suzy. Playing with his car keys, he looked at them with interest. "What are you two doing waiting by my car?"Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

"Mr. Wells!" Jane and Suzy both recognized Ronald, given that he was one of Charles' trusted people.

Ronald raised an eyebrow slightly. "Got something to discuss with me?"

"Mr. Wells, could we have a word?" Being accustomed to dealing with such situations, Jane glanced around before speaking. "It's about Collosus Group's year-end party. I'd like to discuss it with you."

"Collosus Group's year-end party? It seems like you have a couple of informers, Ms. Gordon!" Ronald chuckled and spun his car keys. "How did you find out?"

"I have my sources. I just wanted to ask you whether the list of participants has been finalized yet, Mr. Wells," Jane said as she handed over a stuffed envelope to Ronald.

Ronald, however, merely smirked and did not take the envelope. Instead, he looked at Suzy standing next to Jane. "Aren't you the one who used to work with Ms. Shaw...?"

"Mr. Wells, my name is Suzy," Suzy introduced herself. "I'm now Winter's assistant."

"An assistant?" Ronald raised his eyebrows. "With your looks, isn't it a bit of a waste to just be an assistant?"

Suzy, who was quite attractive and almost on par with Winter in appearance, usually kept a low profile. She did not dress as stylishly as Winter, which made her seem less striking.

Suzy's eyes flashed briefly at his comment, but she continued, "Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Wells. But about Collosus Group's year-end party..."

"Alright, here's the deal. It's almost

the end of the workday, and this isn't the best place to talk." Ronald

checked his watch. "I have a couple of hours free around lunchtime Let's see what you two have prepared to persuade me!"

With that, Ronald opened his car door. "Will you both ride with me, or...?"

"No need, we drove here." Suzy pointed to a van parked not far away, and Ronald glanced over, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Ms. Shaw is here too?" "Yes, Mr. Wells."

Ronald smiled slightly. "Alright then. I know a decent restaurant nearby. If we're going to talk, let's do it properly."

He then got into his car.

Suzy and Jane exchanged glances before heading to the van.

Winter, wearing her sunglasses, had been observing from inside the van. Seeing Suzy and Jane approach, she quickly asked, "What did Ronald

say?"

Winter frowned slightly. "Lunch with him?" To be honest, Winter was not keen on having a meal with Ronald.

Although Ronald was Charles' assistant, he was still just an assistant. Lowering herself to dine with him was not something Winter was willing to do.

Suzy and Jane exchanged another

look before Jane spoke. "How about
