Finding His Bride
Chapter 20 Finding His Bride
Meanwhile, Ramos was determined to get to the bottom of the situation and seek revenge on the Sanchez family. He summoned his most trusted advisors to gather information and dig deeper into Alfonso’s plans.
He paced back and forth in his office, fuming with anger and frustration. He couldn’t believe that the Sanchez family took his bride from him and almost killed him. He will make sure he kills every last one of them.
He needed to know where and what they are up to if he wants to revenge on them and get back Raven.
“We need to find out everything we can about the Sanchez family,” he said, his voice tight with fury. “I want to know what they’re planning. I want to know everything.”
His advisors nodded in unison, their faces serious. “We’ll start investigating right away, sir,” one of them said. “We’ll leave no stone unturned in our search for information.”
“Good,” Ramos said,
“I need to find my bride and bring her back here.” Ramos said, though he still felt a knot of unease in his stomach. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was still off. Something about this whole situation just didn’t sit right with him.
“But sir, don’t you think that maybe your bride could be in on the attack on your wedding day? Maybe she didn’t want to go through with it and so went to make a deal with the Sanchez brothers to help her?” One of the advisor said.
Before he could continue, Ramos took out a gun and shot him twice as the man fell and died blood splashing on the floor.
“Get someone to clean this mess.” Ramos said putting his gun on the table and taking out a cigarette.
“Does anybody have anything to say?” He asked, but who would dare not after one of them had lost his life for speaking out his mind.
“Good… So just carry out my orders and don’t do otherwise or you will all die like that pathetic fool.” Ramos threatened.
“Yes sir!” They said and left his presence.
After they left, He got up from his chair and paced around his office, the floorboards creaking under his feet. He tried to clear his mind, to focus on the task at hand. But his thoughts kept drifting back to the Sanchez family, and to Alfonso in particular.
There was something about him that just didn’t seem right. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but he knew there was more to him than met the eye.
He stopped pacing and sat down at his desk, his brow furrowed in thought. He needed to find out what was going on, and soon. Otherwise, he feared it might be too late.
But he thought about Raven and how she could have been his wife by now if those Sanchez family hadn’t taken her away from him.
She was downright stubborn, but there is something about her that gets him more intrigued by her aside from the fact that she is downright sexy.
Just then, there was a knock at the door. Ramos’s heart skipped a beat as he called out,
“Come in.”
The door opened, and one of his advisors entered the room. “Sir, we’ve just received some new information,” he said, his voice urgent. “I think you should hear it.”
“What is it?” Ramos asked, trying to keep his tone even. “Is it about the Sanchez family?”
“No… sir, it’s about one of your drug warehouse. Alberto and some of his guns has infiltrated your warehouse and have taken all of the drugs.” The informer informed him.
“They did what!”Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
Ramos felt his blood run cold. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. The informer continued,
“They’ve completely ransacked the warehouse, and there’s no sign of them or the drugs. We don’t know where they’ve gone, but it’s clear that they’ve been planning this for a while. They must have had help from someone on the inside.”
Ramos felt a wave of fury and panic wash over him. This was a disaster, a complete disaster. And to make matters worse, he had no idea who was responsible.
“We need to find out who did this, and fast,” he said, his tone sharp. “I want every man on this. I want them found, and I want them brought to justice.”
