“Yes, I have found with Nathan that who is the reason behind our daughter’s pregnancy?”
“What? Who is that?”
“Alpha Calvin Haysbert of Blood Moon Pack.” Abigail hissed in anger. “Nathan would have declared war against him, but it’s our daughter’s mistake to enter his room. That’s why we can’t do anything about it, and by observing the CCTV video, it looks like Ethlyn wasn’t in her sense, and that’s why that bastard took advantage of her situation.”
“Now, he will get the result of what he did to our daughter.”
“???” Christian.
“He has a habit of sleeping with other’s daughter; now it’s time to taste the result of his own medicine.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Christian suggested. “I don’t think Ethlyn will like this. I mean, don’t you think it should be her decision?”
“She is not awake to take that decision. And I’m taking this decision in her absence, her mother. I don’t want to keep that pup. Hell, I don’t even want to look at her. So, since she can’t stay with her mother, she will stay with her father.”
“But what if that Alpha rejects her to keep with him or doesn’t accept her as his daughter?”
“I don’t care. It will be that pup’s destiny, then. I will feel pity for her then.” Abigail started with hatred for her granddaughter. Christian didn’t want to support her in her decision, but at the same time, he didn’t want to keep his grandaughter in a such atmosphere where she wouldn’t be treated right. He left everything at Moon Goddess, who knew what best for her every pup was.

Christian was thinking all this thing by staying out of Ethlyn’s room. It had been five years since that incident. No one knew except him that he had been silently keeping eyes on Calvin to see whether he was taking good care of his granddaughter or not, and he was feeling proud of Abigail’s wrong decision, which turned out to be the best for his granddaughter.
He smiled, thinking about Roselet, whom he had met twice as a stranger.
‘I don’t know what I’m going to tell you about your daughter, Ethlyn.’ he thought in his mind.
Everyone had lost their hope that she would awake again until they heard the name of the new Neurologist, Laira Wayne, in the Black Council, who also happened to be the youngest Neurologist in the world of werewolves. It was hard to believe that any Rouge could be that educated until they found that she started living in the Black council just because of her mate. She was born and brought up in a pack and human world. Christian didn’t want to leave any tiny hope if it was concerned with Ethlyn’s health.
After two successful surgeons, Liara’s treatment showed its effect. Abigail and Christian wanted to personally thank her when Ethlyn woke out of a coma for the first time, but the floor slipped from their feet when they came to know the full name of the Neurologist treating Ethlyn, Laira Daisy Haysbert Wayne.
Abigail suggested quickly shifting Ethlyn from the hospital of the Black council to their own pack’s hospital. She didn’t want Ethlyn’s past to strike her anywhere in her life again, not after when she was finally awake after years, not after when Nathan didn’t hold any grudge of whatever happened in the past, and Abigail could picture them together in the future again.
“It seems like she is not going to open her eyes in your presence,” Reva commented, feeling irritated.
“Really? I didn’t know you were going to be the next doctor of the pack.” Nathan spoke sarcastically and stood up on his feet. “Stay here then; I have some other work.”
“I have some other work.” Reva mimicked him after he left. “Dad, why are you standing out? Come in.” She said.
‘How could I meet Ethlyn’s eyes if she would wake up after my arrival and ask about her pup? What would I tell her?’ Christian wondered.
“Daddddd,” Reva yelled.
“Dad,” Ethlyn whispered, widening Reva’s eyes, and who quickly looked toward Ethlyn to check whether she really heard her voice. Reva smiled widely when she realized Ethlyn was trying to open her eyes after a sleep of twelve hours again.
“Dad, Ethlyn is looking for you.” Reva cried happily, and hearing it, Christian walked into the room. “If I would have known that by sending Alpha Nathan and by shouting DAD, you are going to wake up, then I would have done that long ago.” Reva talked with her sister, who had opened her half eyes by then.
“Where… where is my.. Pup?” Ethlyn asked the first question that Christian was expecting her to ask.

Ethlyn wanted to cry in pain when her stomach hit the ground again, and this didn’t stop there; she started rolling like a ball on the slope of the mountain, but no voice was coming out of her mouth. She wanted to shout for help, but she couldn’t. It looked like her voice had died or something had happened. That was when she heard a familiar voice speaking, “Dad, why are you standing out? Come in.”
‘Reva?’ She wondered and tried to speak but failed again.
“Daddddd,” Reva yelled, and with a lot of struggle, Ethlyn spoke, more like whispered.
“Dad,” She opened her eyes slowly, sweating badly. The incident that happened years back was somewhere fresh in her memory. She was breathing heavily and looked around and realized that she was in the hospital, but the room in the hospital was different from yesterday’s one.
“Ethlyn.” She saw her father reaching toward her to check on her. “How are you feeling, sweetheart?” he asked but instead of answering him. She observed him carefully. He looked old and a little different.NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
