The man almost shit himself, though with such enthusiasm he was quite compliant with meeting my
expectations.
My men stayed alert, though they were happy that the battle was over for now.
After speaking with the commander I left the tent and left him in the hands of some of my men.
It was needed to keep everything on track.
I didn't want any disruptions to occur again.
I started walking back to the carriage.
Luna greeted me with opening the door and rushing out to embrace me.
Her body tilted on against me, her feet on the stairs of the carriage.
It was a favorable greeting in my eyes, she and I held one another tightly.
The breath of relief floated out of both our mouths letting the ending of the battle set in.
I softly whispered in her ear almost as if it was going to be a kiss.
"Sorry I got off track.. I'll make it up to you later."
She tightened around my neck and didn't say a word.
The men and women guard around the carriage watched our display of affection.
Though I ended it after picking up Luna and speaking.
"I thank you all for your hard work, though that's not the end of your duty, we still have Latis to get
through.!"
I walked in the carriage as they bowed.
We were off I didn't speak to Sir William before leaving, I already informed him of what to do from there
beforehand.
Plus I felt kind of drained after fighting and just wanted to be on our way.

(Luna's POV)
I sat on his lap as he sat down on the cushioned seat.
The carriage started rolling forward the moments somewhat pushed me back towards him a bit.
Though this wasn't what caused our lips to meet, it was by our own volition.
It was a few seconds, before our eyes, red and green, shadowing each other in movement, opened.
Our foreheads tapped together and stayed as we gazed into one other.
"What did you mean when you said you'd make it up to me.?"
"Well, I think you know..."
He flipped me on my bottom and he crouched before me, close between my legs.
"With anything you so desire..."
His eyes went up looking at me and then stopped at my eyes.
My hands layed down to where his chest met his shoulders.
"I don't want my bride to be mad at me before we even get married. I know you were against my
decision, but I went ahead with it anyway."
His manor of speaking and face reminded me of a pouting puppy, almost begging for forgiveness,
though it was all somewhat hidden in his own appearance.
"Sigh, I'm just glad you're safe. As long as you don't leave my side for too long I'll be fine."
"Man I lucky to have you, well should I say both of you."
I giggled a little and we kissed once more.

A little while later we made it to the border.
The road was clear, we stopped for a moment just before entering.
I heard a knock letting me know we were at it, though I gave the order.
"Let's Proceed.!"
Though we started again after I spoke.
