Chapter 312
Chapter 312 Niki’s Identity
Lily was a bit at a loss and didn’t understand why Julian didn’t want to come into the apartment..
His girlfriend was sleeping now, he was supposed to come in and take a look or call Niki up himself. That was what a
boyfriend should do.
But Lily dared not take the initiative to ask him. Her duty was to do whatever Mr. Graham said.
“Please wait there for a second, sir, I will wake Miss. Linch now.”
Then she hurried to walk towards Niki’s bedroom.
Just then, Julian suddenly said, “wait a minute.”
Lily turned around.
“Does Niki usually wake up at this time?” Julian said as he glanced at his watch.
The pointer was pointing twelve.
“Well… It’s…” Lily stuttered.
Niki usually got up at this time if there was nothing urgent. Did Miss. Linch boast to Mr. Graham that she got up early every day?
“Why are you keeping silence?” Julian stared at her, his eyes were like a deep and secluded pool of water.
“Eh…” Lily didn’t dare to look up, “Miss. Linch was too tired yesterday, so she is still sleeping.”
“She usually gets up very early,” Lily said, wiping the sweat from her forehead with her sleeve.
She tried to conceal her discomfort in lying.
But she didn’t know that every small action and every nuance of expression was under Julian’s observation; he could see through her at a glance.
But Julian didn’t ask more, “go and wake her up.”
“Tell her we’ll set off at one o’clock.”
“Okay,” Lily jogged to Niki’s bedroom.
Niki was sleeping soundly but was awakened by a loud knock on the door, she instinctively frowned.
How dare Lily made such a loud noise!
The knock on the door grew louder and louder, as If It wouldn’t stop until she woke up.
Niki got up and flung open the door with great anger, “didn’t I say not to wake me up? What’s the matter with you?”
She let out string of curses.
Lily was startled and quickly grabbed Niki’s sleeve, gesturing for her to look out the door.
“What are you pulling me for? Don’t touch me!” Niki shook Lily’s hands away as she was mad at Lily’s interruption.
Lily became even more flustered and shouted out directly, “Mr. Graham is here! Right at the door!”
‘Mr. Graham is there?”
It took Niki half a second to recall what Lily had just said.
Mr. Graham… Julian Graham!
Niki quickly turned her head to look outside the door.
Julian stood at the door, dressed in black. He looked down at his shoes; though there was no special emotion on his face, Niki felt somehow edgy.
Why Julian came here?
She closed the door and returned to her bedroom without hesitation.
Damn it… She had just woken up and didn’t wear makeup or wash up… Julian must had seen her face!
Did he hear all her harsh tone towards Lily just now?!
Her persona as a kind and elegant lady was completely destroyed by herself! Niki grabbed her hair in despair.
“Miss. Linch, Mr. Graham said he wants you to go with him to New York and you must pack your bags before one o’clock!” Lily shouted outside, patting the bedroom door.
One o’clock? Niki frowned.
She needed at least an hour to put on makeup, how could she find enough time to pack her things?
She intended to ask Julian to give her more time, but when thinking of his stinky face, she gave up.
One hour later, the clock just struck one.
Niki hurriedly went downstairs and walked up to Julian, she just had time to wear a light makeup.
Julian leaned half against the car, holding a cigarette in his hand. He looked into the distance, Niki didn’t know what he was thinking.
Seeing Niki coming to the car, he silently pinched his cigarette and raised his eyebrows, “Let’s go then.”
No more words.
The alienated aura between them made Nild fell like they were just colleagues on a business trip. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Was Julian mad at her?
She lowered her head and looked at her phone: it was 1:01. She was just a minute late, he shouldn’t be angry about it,
right?
Or did her plain face scare him?
Well, that was too much…
Niki was confident in her face without makeup. Although she looked prettier when wearing makeup, her plain face
wasn’t so ugly.
“Aren’t you leaving?” Julian looked at Niki who was sunk in her thought.
Niki could fell a hint of impatience in his tone.
“Let’s go now.” Niki nodded. Julian’s indifferent voice broke her desire to launch a charm offensive.
“Julian, I…” sitting in the car, Niki tried to explain her morning performance.
But Julian didn’t even give her a glance, but threw her a paper bag and said, “have some breakfast first.”
“You must haven’t act anything since you had just woken up.”
Looking down at the paper bag in her arms, she pouted her lips in distress.
She knew why Julian threw her a bag of breakfast, it meant
‘Shut your mouth and eat it, don’t bother me.’
Niki felt even more depressed.
In the Spears residence, New York.
“You don’t want me to teach Lara a lesson for you?” Tory said with a serious face.
“I can handle it myself, uncle.”
Natalie said as she lowered her head to scoop a spoonful of congee, slowly putting it into her mouth with elegant
posture.
“You’re so lenient, how are you gonna deal with Lara?”
Natalie’s composure drove Tory nuts.
Natalie didn’t know what kind of person Klara was!
“Lara is a notoriously spoiled princess in New York! She is big into stirring up trouble all day long and makes the whole city a mess!”
“How can you handle such a person?”

Natalie seemed to hear nothing. She scooped another spoonful of congee and slowly put it into her mouth. “The congee is tasty. Would you like to try it, uncle?”
“You…”Tory almost forgot what he wanted to say.
“Don’t digress from the topic! Let’s get down to business!”
Tory saw through her trick, Natalie had no choice but to put down her spoon, saying, “don’t you worry, uncle. I will gain my justice.”
“Really?” Tory was half convinced.
Natalie had a kind heart; he was afraid that she would cut Lara a little slack.
“Yeah. I’m certain.” Natalie nodded with a determined expression.
She would never offer to offend others. But if someone took the initiative to provoke her, then she wouldn’t choose to
chicken out.
Suddenly the figure of Niki appeared in her mind.
“Uncle, I want to inquire you about one person,” said she sternly.
Tory sat up straight and picked up his ears, “okay.”
“Do you know a woman named Niki Linch?”
“Niki Linch…” Tory repeated the name which was quite familiar to him.
“She once said she belongs to our Spears Family.” Natalie felt it was necessary to verify Niki’s identity.
“What?” Tory raised his tone in surprise. He tried to search for this character in his mind.
As the second leader of the Spears Family, he knew everyone well in his family, but this name didn’t ring a bell.
