Chapter 30: TWENTY-NINE

Chapter 30: TWENTY-NINE

MEGHAN's POV

"Ah I'll go first," I said goodbye to them.

"Are you leaving right away?" Celine asked.

"Yes you are here first Meghan!"

I watched Sapphire stand up as well.

"She is pregnant. She needs to rest guys," she said.

"Yeah by the way, go ahead be careful Megs!"

"Hey where are you going?" I asked when I saw her following.

"You will probably be delivered," he added.

"Gaga, are you leaving Jeremy?" I will ask. Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

"Let him go! Don't be artistic anymore," she said and walked away.

I did not say goodbye to Gov, I will text him later.

We turned around when I collided with someone, it was a bit dark in the parking lot. But there are lights.

Plus I still had a collision.

I helped him, but I stopped smelling his perfume. I slowly turned to where I had collided, my world

suddenly stopped when I saw Jace. He was also looking at me.

"A-ah wait I'll just come in Girl."

We stared at each other for a few minutes. I do not know why I can not turn my gaze. I seem to be

examining his face. Why? Because is this the last time I can stare at it closely?

"A-ah, s-sorry. I-I didn't mean to," I said and stood up. He stood up but he was still staring at me.

I handed the key to him. I averted my eyes, I was hurting.

"I-I'm really sorry. All right, I'll go first," I told him with a smile before I walked away but I was surprised

when he held my hand.

"Hale ..."

Suddenly my chest tightened, very painful. He still holds my hand. I can't look at him. I do not want to

cry in front of him. I don't want him to think I'm a desperate woman, that he's right.

"S-sorry..."

The tears that I had been holding back were already dripping. I turned to him before wiping the tears

from my cheeks. I saw his eyes seriously looking at me.

I smiled bitterly as I turned my attention to his hand in my hand, but I was even more hurt when I saw

his wedding ring.

I still tried to face him even though my chest was too tight.

"S-sorry..."

"Don't say sorry Euward, it's your choice. I have no rights to oppose on what you want," I said and

faked a smile.

It was as if he touched my heart when I saw that he looked at me sincerely.

"I'm worried."

I took a deep breath before looking at him. I also don't want trouble anymore, after all she is married.

There was nothing I could do to get him back to me.

"Im too plastic if I say I'm okay," I said tearfully and laughed fake.

"I-I'm hurting Jace, I-I'm hurting. It's too much pain ..."

I couldn't stop myself from crying. It just really hurts. My every breath deepened. I looked up so that my

tears would not drip but I was disappointed. Because they fell even more in front of Jace.

He was about to wipe but I stopped him. I quickly wiped away my tears but they were still dripping.

"F-for as long as, J-just in the past, I-I was the one you promised, B-but here it is now. You are married

..." I looked at him directly while my tears flowed. It hurts so much to see him like this.

"H-hale, forgive me-"

"N-no ... D-don't say that. S-she'll definitely be upset if she hears that, dont worry about me, I'll be fine

soon."

I could see the concern in his eyes as he looked at me. I really can't get him anymore. I can no longer

claim him.

I approached him, leaning my head on his chest. And there I cried. I just want to get rid of even the

slightest pain I feel. I just want to bring out the pain in my chest.

He let me cry on his chest even though I could read it with my tears. I don't want to let go, because

once I let go, I will never feel his arms again.

I stayed in his arms for a few minutes, I felt his hand caressing my back.
