Arrogant Man VS Unyielding Woman

Chapter 475 Help You Get Justice

Chapter 475 Help You Get Justice

As Zed saw the look on Moore's face, he knew what Moore was up to so he shook his head slightly.

Moore turned towards Jean as Zed didn't answer him.

"My son?" Edna acted as if she didn't understand what Jean meant. She turned towards Jean

curiously.

"Wasn't Hanley your son?" Jean had always hated women with an affected air like Edna so she asked.

"What's wrong with Hanley?" Edna was stunned and asked anxiously as soon as she heard what Jean

said.

Jean knew that Edna was just pretending not to know anything at all.

She looked at Edna and observed her silently.

Edna's acting was real and she actually looked innocent in front of so many people in the ward.

"Then what are you doing at the hospital?" Jean was displeased and so she asked,"Don't tell me that

you heard Moore is at the hospital and you have come to visit him?"

"It's true! I just arrived from Imperial Capital and heard that Mr. Moore Bai was at the hospital. As a

family member of Bai, I had to come to visit him!"

Edna replied without any hesitation.

Jean took a deep breath, looked closely at Edna and turned towards Moore.

Moore shook his head slightly.

Jean got angry and sneered. She looked at Edna and said,"Did you just arrive from Imperial Capital?

And you already heard that Moore was in H City? Should I admire your sources? Or should I mock your

sources because the news they delivered is outdated? Moore got out of the hospital a long time ago.

He was only here because of your son, Hanley! Hanley hired a car to hit our car on the road. We are

lucky that Moore wasn't injured badly. Or I won't have let you get away with this."

Jean uttered those words in anger.

As she thought about the car accident, she suddenly got angry.

Jean had decided to make it clear whether Edna was acting or really knew nothing about this.

There was no way for her to deny the fact that Hanley had planned the car accident.

"Are you serious?" Edna asked as she frowned.

"Of course!" Jean rolled her eyes.

Edna didn't mind Jean being impolite. She turned towards Moore with a serious look. It seemed like

she doubted all that Jean just said.

Though Moore wanted to ignore Edna, he also didn't like someone to doubt and distrust Jean.

Moore nodded slightly as Edna turned towards him.

"Damn it!" Edna couldn't believe it at all.

She took her cellphone out of her bag immediately.

Jean soon realized what Edna was about to do so she sneered. "Mrs. Bai, why don't you go home and

ask your son in person about what he did? It's already too late. We don't want to keep you."

Before Edna could reply, Jean walked up to Moore and asked,"Are you done? If you're done, then let's

go home!"

"Sure!" Moore nodded.

Zed approached the bedside and helped Moore up.

A complex expression took over Edna's face as she said,"Mr. Moore Bai, if Hanley really did that, I will

surely help you get justice."

"That's better! Trying to kill someone is illegal and he might be sentenced to death for that! Let's hope

that you don't forget what you just said," Jean said as she walked past Edna and mocked her.

Edna's face turned pale as she heard what Jean said.

"If that's true, then I'll definitely give you the answer that you expect." After Edna finished her words,

she turned to Moore and added,"Since Mr. Moore Bai has you company, I won't bother you then. See

you later!"

Edna turned around and was about to leave when she suddenly realized something and looked back at

Zed. "Zed, please say hello to your mother for me."

Jean was surprised to hear that because Zed told her that Zed's mother had ended her friendship with

Edna a long time ago.

'Didn't Edna act like she didn't know Zed at all?

Why did she say something like that?' Jean thought.

Zed smiled and said,"I'll send your greetings to my mother."

"That's great! See you!" Edna turned around and left.

As she left, they all eased up instantly.

"Jean, we don't have any evidence yet. Why did you mention Hanley in front of Edna?" Moore asked

curiously.

"Evidence? The men he hired are still alive. How come there are no evidences? What more do we

need? Even if we don't have any evidence, I think that the Bai family know everything. In H City, who

wants to kill you besides the Bai family? Not just Edna, I will also inform Gary of what Hanley has done

to you."

"Jean!" Zed frowned and interrupted her,"This is between Moore and the Bai family. We should not get

involved."

"Not get involved? How can I not get involved?" Jean was shocked by Zed's words. She added,"Zed,

you saw it with your own eyes. Moore almost got killed as he went home only to get his belongings. If

we don't inform Gary about this, do you know how much danger Moore could be in? Do you really want

him to stay at home at all times?"

"Jean, I know you care about me. But this is not that serious," Moore comforted Jean,"and Edna will

give us an answer soon. She is the woman of her words. She will definitely question Hanley. We might

get an answer by tomorrow." It was just an answer...

It might not be what they were expecting.

Moore smiled sarcastically at first and then the smile faded.

Zed saw Moore's smile fade away. He looked at Moore deeply and then was lost in thoughts.

"Really?" Jean doubted that as she looked at Moore.

"Of course!" Moore nodded and added,"Look! The three of us are here. Even if she doesn't want to,

she will give us an answer because of Zed."

"All right! I believe you this time. And I'm looking forward to what she is going to say tomorrow. If I'm not

pleased with whatever she says, then I'll go and find Gary," Jean said.

"What?" Zed was speechless for a second and then he added,"Do you really think that Gary is so easy Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

to find?"

"Is he that hard to find?" Jean asked curiously.

"Well, I've heard that it's not easy to get in touch with him. You only get a chance to meet him if he

decides to meet you," Zed reminded her as he sighed.
