"Okay." Ethan nodded and raised his head. He smiled politely at Jean before excusing himself, "Jean, I

have to meet someone. Wait for me here, please."

Jean didn't say anything. After Ethan and his secretary left, she sighed in relief. She had wanted to

avoid meeting Ethan at this event. However, now that they had met, she was determined to circumvent
