Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 186

The doors to all the private rooms in the clubhouse were shut and soundproofed. Not daring to move around, Alicia was starting to panic. She was afraid of what would happen to her if she didn't deal with the problem properly.

Taking out her phone, she was just about to make a call when she noticed that the words and numbers were starting to look blurry. Just as she closed her eyes, she heard footsteps behind her.

Having a bad feeling, Alicia instinctively increased her pace. She had to go somewhere crowded!

She was so weak, her voice sounded like a croak. Unfortunately, she was at the KTV area which was booming with music, where the rooms had a great soundproof system.

Alicia felt terrible. She couldn't even go somewhere crowded. What if someone took advantage of her there?

She had to stay conscious. She had to leave this place immediately!

A thought occurred to her and Alicia took out her car keys. There was a small foldable pocket knife hanging on the keychain. She opened the knife and stabbed her thigh with it! As the excruciating pain hit her, it cleared her head and allowed her to increase her walking pace.

Hurrying outside, Alicia wanted to call for help but she didn't dare to call a man, therefore she called Victoria's phone. Unluckily, no one answered her phone and she tried calling her colleague. She kept getting lighter in the head and it felt as if she would pass out in a minute. She felt helpless and scared, and her hands started to tremble. It was even getting hard for her to hold on to her phone.

Stopping in her tracks, Alicia stabbed her thigh again. "You couldn't be defiled. Absolutely nothing bad could happen to you!"

"That's right, I have to call the police..." she suddenly remembered.

After realizing that, she immediately went to make the call. Suddenly, she felt a man touching her shoulders. She instinctively turned around and slashed him with her knife.

"Don't touch me!"

"Ally..."

Fortunately, Jeremy dodged in time but his sleeve had still been cut. Looking up, he saw the knife shaking in her hand. Clutching the gleaming blade, her hand seemed to be bleeding. Shocked, Jeremy asked, "What happened to you?"

"Jeremy!"

Evidently shaky, Alicia was nearing unconsciousness. Screaming, she stabbed her leg again.

"What are you doing?"

Reaching forward, he grabbed her wrist swiftly. Jeremy was so shocked, his eyes went round.

Alicia blinked a few times before taking another look. As soon as she had confirmed his identity, she couldn't help but clutch at his sleeves. "Hospital! Bring me to the hospital! Please!"

With that, she could no longer hold herself.

Reflexively, Jeremy caught her. "Ally, Ally! What happened to you? Don't scare me!"

Jeremy didn't notice where he put his hand but he felt blood on it. Holding her tightly, he was pale with anxiety.

"The hospital... Please..."

Muttering those words with her remaining strength, Alicia trusted him more than other strangers. "Jeremy!"

As if holding on for her life, Alicia grabbed his sleeve tightly and pressed her other hand to her bleeding thigh. Subconsciously, she still wanted to keep awake.

"Don't be afraid! I'll get you to the hospital right away!"

Carrying her, Jeremy rushed for the door.

"Ally, it's all right! I'm sorry, I'm sorry... Please be alright! I didn't want to do this to you. In the moments I spent with you, I meant every single word I said! Ally, don't fall asleep, please be alright..."

Jeremy kept talking to her while running as fast as he could.

Her eyelashes were fluttering and it all felt like a dream to her. She was already in a daze.

"In the past, I always imagined that one day you would carry me like that... Carrying me like a princess, the prettiest princess... When we get married, I would be wearing the most elegant gown... I'll be the most stunning bride..."

"We would live happily ever after!"

"But... why? Why..." Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.

"Lies, all of it were lies!"

"You gave the chance to another woman, you gave up on me... You left me!"

"Sob... I'm so tired. I want to take a nap! I need to rest..."

Alicia could only mumble as she curled herself up. She was like a helpless child, holding on to Jeremy.

Although he couldn't fully catch what she said, he still received a huge shock and tears welled up in his eyes. As he carried her in his arms, he suddenly noticed that she was so light, she felt like just skin and bones. He couldn't feel any burden carrying her.

"Ally... I'm sorry!" Jeremy murmured.

The memories of the past came flooding into his mind and he gave her a kiss on the forehead. Jeremy didn't even dare catch his breath as he rushed to the hospital.

"Doctor! Doctor-"

At the same time, Frederick was at Danica's apartment, sitting at the table. The table was laid with a lovely tablecloth and decorated with some flowers and trinkets. There were also two green bowls with garlic sauce.

"Here you are, shrimp raviolis straight from the pot

In no time, Danica appeared wearing an apron. She was holding two plates of hot ravioli. "Here you go, Frederick, it's your favorite! I haven't made them in a while, I don't know if they still taste good."

Taking off the apron, she straightened her skirt before sitting down opposite him. "Go on, give it a try. It tastes best while it's still hot!"

"Alright!"

Frederick forked a ravioli and with the scent of black pepper came familiar echoes of the past. With just one bite, he stopped moving. A pretty figure came into his mind and he heard a playful voice mixed with hints of anger.

'Hubby, you're back!'

'Hubby, try it, eat it while it's hot!'

'Frederick Clements! What's your problem? You can leave it if you don't like it! Why must you do this to me?'

There was a time when she also used to make him shrimp ravioli with a tinge of black pepper. But, they had a quarrel that day and he didn't even finish one.

Suddenly, he started to miss that plate of ravioli. The ravioli she made were works of art, totally different from the flat ones in front of him. They were shaped like balls, all round and smooth.

He really regretted his actions that day, flipping the plate for nothing!

Since that day, she never made them for him again...

As he thought about the past, he felt pained. He found it hard to swallow the ravioli in his mouth.

Forcefully swallowing the ravioli, he put down his fork.

"What's wrong?" Was it bad? Danica was concerned.

Frederick felt terrible upon hearing the same words, noticing the same expression. He shook his head.

"No, they're delicious! The ravioli you made are very special!"

It was true that he loved ravioli and for the past few years, he would occasionally eat them at a restaurant. Even after eating them for so many years, he never got sick of them.

He had tried ravioli from many restaurants and the tastes were almost the same, acceptable to him but he never tasted one with black pepper in it!

"Then why eat just one? I specially made them for you!"
