Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 744

"What? How dare you curse me? If it weren't for the sake of Jeremy, do you think I would have tolerated you for so long? I'm giving you some leniency but you are crossing the line! You are really oblivious! You are shameless!"

"So what if I'm a mistress? At least I'm favored. Unlike you, you're just a useless abandoned woman! Everyone dislikes you, and no one wants you! When you were younger, your husband dumped you. Now that you're old, your son abandoned you! You deserve to be psychotic..." Lindsay shouted.

Lindsay was furious and had completely lost her mind as well!

"You..." Sally stuttered.

Watching both of them being in the heated argument and the mess they had caused around them, Cecilia immediately dropped the stuff in her hands and ran forward to pull them apart. Then, she shouted,

"Enough, Madam York, please stop arguing!"

"Sally is an elder. Please show some respect!"

"It's none of your business. You're the shameless one leeching off of us! Go away!" Lindsay shouted and pushed Cecilia aside.

"Why did you push Cecilia? You are such an evil woman!" Sally furiously said.

"You are such an old hag!" Lindsay replied.

Cecilia staggered. As soon as she regained her footing, she saw the two enraged individuals fighting with each other again. She shouted, "Stop fighting! Can someone please help..."

Cecilia couldn't seem to help and she was extremely anxious. Just when she was about to call Jeremy for help, a sudden loud bang shocked her. She was dumbfounded by the sight of Sally hitting her head at the corner of the sofa, her forehead bleeding profusely.

"Madam York!" Cecilia screamed in agony.

She immediately dashed forward and pulled Sally over. She dragged Sally as she shouted, "Oh my, it's bleeding! Madam York, are you okay? She is old, how can you push her?"

At that point, Lindsay also stumbled from the backlash while she pushed her. She was obviously appalled. From the corner of her eyes, she caught a glimpse of the blood on Sally's face. A chill ran over her body, and she suddenly felt a pang of despair.

With a flash of realization, she gritted her teeth and pushed herself against the shelf by the side.

Instantly, she felt an excruciating pain in her belly. She wanted to stand up while holding onto the shelf, she was feeling weak on the floor. "Ouch, my belly..." Lindsay shrieked.

As soon as she held Sally up, she heard a loud scream behind her. Upon turning over to check, Cecilia saw Lindsay holding her belly, leaning against the corner of the table, obviously in pain. Furthermore, it seemed that she was bleeding profusely from her lower body.

Bewildered, she was dumbfounded for a short while.

Whilst covering her head, Sally was also shocked. Her face turned pale. She grabbed onto Cecilia's arm and said in desperation, "It wasn't me. I didn't push her. What should I do?"

When she came to her senses, Cecilia comforted her, "It's okay, it's okay, I'll call emergency services!"

Cecilia couldn't think straight. She didn't even dare touch Lindsay. She nervously called emergency services before proceeding to call Jeremy. At that time, the servant was back from the market, so both of them pulled Lindsay up together to the sofa on the side.

In the hospital, Lindsay was pushed into the operating theatre while Sally was in the sickroom.

Cecilia was busy running back and forth to sign on relevant documents. She was still in a daze.

After paying a part of the fees, she saw that the red light was still lit in front of the operating theatre's door. When Cecilia was about to call Jeremy to talk to him, the servant rushed over and said,

"Miss Castle, bad news..."

"What's wrong?" Cecilia worriedly asked.

"Please go and have a look. Something's happened to Madam York!"

She immediately hung up the phone and ran to the other end. When she arrived at the door, there were more documents to be signed.

"Doctor, what's the matter? Isn't it an external injury? Why does she have to undergo surgery?" Cecilia questioned.

She looked at the wound on Sally's forehead. It was just a scratch. Although the wound was a little e deep and was still bleeding, it could be treated with just two stitches at most. It had only been a while, so she shouldn't have bled too much.

"The patient's bleeding can't be stopped, and there's a buildup of toxins in her kidneys, causing major organ failure. She needs to be treated immediately!" The doctor explained.

She could not believe what she heard. The room seemed to be spinning. What did that mean? What was going on?

At the same time, the light of another operating theatre came on, and there were all kinds of signatures required, as well as a lot of things that she needed to deal with. Hence, she couldn't take care of Lindsay.

Jeremy was out of breath when he arrived at the hospital. Lindsay had already been pushed out of the operating theatre, and he was informed that they had just completed the induced abortion.

His brain seemed to have exploded. He couldn't grasp what the doctor was saying. In the ward, looking at Lindsay's pale face, Jeremy was in indescribable agony. On the phone, Cecilia didn't say much. He merely knew that Lindsay and his mother were in a huge argument, and it had caused that accident.

Subconsciously, he felt that his mother was abnormal due to her mental illness. As he learned that he had lost his child, Jeremy felt extremely guilty and blameworthy.

On the side of the bed, he held Lindsay's hand and closed his eyes to stop his tears from falling. "I'm..."

"I'm sorry!" he cried.

His baby was gone! It was different from the first time, where he felt that the baby was a burden for Alicia and him. At that time, he really wanted to establish a family with this woman lying on the bed, and live happily ever after!

He didn't expect that...

Was it a punishment from God?

As he spoke, Jeremy's voice choked. Before he could even finish his sentence, a soft voice came from the bed saying, "Jeremy..."

"Linds, are you awake? How are you feeling? Are you not feeling well anywhere?"Jeremy asked with extreme concern.

Helping her up, Jeremy couldn't conceal his nervousness and worry.

Growing up, she had mastered the skill of observation. Naturally, Lindsay could tell what was going on from his attitude and gently said, "Erm..."

It seemed that while Cecilia was busy calling for the ambulance and Jeremy, her text message to request for the special arrangement with the hospital did go through! It seemed like he had no idea about it!

Did he just arrive, or...

She fluttered her eyelids and grunted. Tears immediately came running down her cheeks and she said, "Jeremy, I'm sorry. I didn't protect our baby well! Our baby is gone. It's all my fault. It's all my fault..."

There was no need to pretend. When she thought about the baby, Lindsay couldn't stop crying. She unconsciously pressed her hands on her belly. Her body and mind were riddled with wounds. The pain was indescribable!

Hugging her, Jeremy felt extremely guilty. He planted a kiss deeply on her ear and comforted her,

"Don't say that. It's not your fault! It's my fault. I didn't take good care of you!" He should have kept his mother away from her!

Unable to help himself, Jeremy sniffled as well as he continued to comfort her,

"It's okay, it's just an accident. Take care of yourself first! By the way, what happened today? Were the servants and Cecilia not around? How could that be..."

Why would his mother go home? Why did she get into a fight again? Was there no one around?

Lindsay lowered her head and

Cecilia or that old woman yet. So,

her words sometimes. I was also too emotional during my pregnancy and couldn't control myself. What happened was that she came to look for Cecilia and there was some pushing and pulling. It was purely an accident. She and Cecilia didn't push me on purpose. It's just that they were moving around, and both of them..."

She was alone and they bullied her!

Once she finished her sentence, Lindsay hurriedly added on,

"Don't blame them. Aunty had also injured her forehead by accident, and there were also some wounds..."

It was all the batch's own fault for going against her for no obvious reasons. She had been mooching off them for free, yet she still dared to show her temper. It was just the right time to kill two birds with one stone!

As soon as Cecilia walked to the door, she heard everything and tightened her fist in anger. She was extremely furious, and she was ready to explode
