Chapter 832
Chapter 832
Lauren's eyes swept over the spotless bed before her gaze fell on the old clothes she was wearing. She subconsciously flickered the hem of her clothes and said, "I want to take a bath first."
"Sure! I'll run you a bath!"
As he didn't have much time to prepare for her arrival, Willy could only give her one of his shirts as pajamas. "You'll have to make do for some time. I'll get someone to send some clothes for you later!"
He had not intended to bring her home, but the sudden accident messed up all of Willy's plans.
"Thank you."
After Lauren went into the bathroom, he made a phone call.
When he heard the soft sound of the door closing, he subconsciously turned around. A pair of slender, long legs came into sight. His gaze slowly moved upwards. Under the soft light, the faint, discernible, beautiful curves sent him into a dazed frenzy. In an instant, Willy's heart started thumping like it was about to beat off his chest. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
Lauren was only wearing a sky- blue shirt. The oversized shirt wrapped around her body, with her beautiful short hair that made her look capable yet weak at the same time. Although it was only a change of place and clothes, she was able to show her sexy, feminine side which excited Willy to no end.
He stepped forward and helped her dry her hair before changing the towel. He wrapped her hair with the new, dry towel, and said, "Don't catch a cold! Dry it before you go to sleep!"
The weather was getting warmer, and using the hairdryer was not healthy for a pregnant woman. Thus, Willy did not use a hairdryer.
In the past, he would occasionally think that she was beautiful. However, at that moment, as he approached her, Willy found her highly attractive. She was a woman who had no lack of femininity. Although she was different from his ideal type -gentle and virtuous women with long, silky hair, she was still attractive and carried her own charm. He would often unconsciously give her a second look. He did not notice that, at the moment, the rude "tomboy" had captivated all his attention.
After standing for a minute, Willy helped her onto bed. Seeing that her arms were still red, Willy picked up the ointment and applied it for her. "Are you hurt anywhere else?"
Lauren shook her head. In broad daylight, she was actually not used to being this intimate with him. She withdrew her hands, rolled down her sleeves, and hid herself under the quilt, tugging it several times.
He took off the towel on her head and continued drying her hair. Willy pulled her close to him and said, "You're really a tomboy! Others might even think that I have hidden a man in my bed."
While teasing her, Willy couldn't help grinning.
He had always liked girls with long hair. In the past, he had never thought that he would fall for such a woman, who from head to toe, did not seem to be his type at all! She looked cold, yet beautiful. Her figure was naturally more masculine than that of those bashful women. She wasn't the type of person who needed his protection.
Willy's eyes landed on her thick eyebrows and long eyelashes. He could not deny that she was a thing of beauty, especially at night, when she was exceptionally enchanting - just the thought of it drove him nuts!
As he gently pinched her earlobe, there was a faraway look in Willy's eyes. This delicate texture was impeccable. If she dressed up and was more soft-tempered, she was just as authentic as a woman as any other girls out there!
Lauren glanced at him and swatted his hand away. "You are the one who messed with me first. Who are you trying to blame?"
Why did he touch her if he disliked her? She hated when men called her a tomboy! Just because she had short hair, it didn't make her any lesser of a woman! No matter how clumsy or aggressive she was, and even if she was bald, she was still a woman!
Lauren tidied her hair as she pouted. "Shallow. Blind."
Men were dumb! It was no wonder that men in wigs and make-up could easily fool other men into marriage while biologically females like her were called 'tomboys'.
In the past, she didn't really care
eline
about that label! The reason why she kept her hair short was to make herself look stronger, so she would not come off as someone easily bullied, and to avoid provoking others. However, at that moment, hearing him say that made her feel like he disliked her appearance, her temperament, and even disliked that she had no femininity. He was no different from those who gossiped about her behind her back. Content

This picky attitude from someone she held close to her heart made her very uncomfortable.
Deeply pleased, Willy couldn't help but laugh out
loud.
She was just like a woman when she was emotional.
He pinched her cheeks and got up, "Get some rest. I have an errand to go on! I'll be back later to have dinner with you! No one will disturb you here!" Willy went out and made a few calls. He then went to the study to get his business done.
Lauren was not used to being in an unfamiliar place. She tossed and turned for a long time. Although she felt tired, she wasn't able to sleep well. After tossing and turning a few more times, she managed to take a short nap.
When she opened her eyes again, it was already dark outside. She got up, and saw some clothes and two boxes of close-fitting clothes by the bedside, as well as some snacks and fruits.
Feeling a little hungry, she took a bite of a piece of biscuit. It was sweet, crispy, rich and milky. Satisfied, Lauren licked her mouth and chewed on a small piece of apple before she went to wash up.
She stretched herself and realized that it was already past five in the evening. She looked at the shirt she had on, and then walked to the other side of the room. She looked through the clothes, and was unhappy at once.
Why were they all dresses?
What did he mean by this? Did he dislike her attire or was she not girly enough?
Unconsciously, Willy's remarks about her popped into her mind again. Lauren suddenly felt as if there was a weight pressing down on her chest. Unsure if it was natural instinct or just stubbornness, Lauren was even more unwilling to put on those dresses.
From the two stacks of neatly folded
clothes, she chose a loose white T-shirt, with laces at the hem and a popular "eye" drawing at the front which was exquisitely embroidered with beads. She then chose the only available pants there - a pair of jeans.
She changed into her new clothes in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. She tugged the beads on her shirt as she curled her lips in discomfort.
Weren't shirts better if they were simple? Why did the design have to be so eye-catching around her chest area? The embroidery was shiny, and was obviously a lot of work. It had to cost a lot.
Looking at the pants she was wearing, she saw that it was a pair of skinny fit, ankle-length jeans which revealed her sensual ankles. Looking at them, she couldn't help frowning!
She did not like clothes that showed off her figure and beauty; they were too gaudy and flashy.
When she was a child, she did love looking like a princess. She had all kinds of beautiful skirts and small leather shoes. Her mother always dressed her up like a doll. She even liked to go out without needing to walk at all. Whenever they went out, her parents would take turns carrying her. That was probably the only simple and happy memory of her life.
