Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 118

Chapter 118

Sofia’s POV

“Huh?” I said as I got to my full height and had turned my head around until I was staring at him. He

gestured at the stuff which I had been about to pick up, moments ago before starting to speak. “Mr

Ricci issue you are not to touch a thing in here when we’d start to all put the stuffs away, he said all you

have to do and all you’re supposed to do, is to stand back and point and also gesture to whichever

parts are sides you want each particular stuffs to be placed in.” He said and shrugged his shoulders a

little before continuing. “The boss' orders not mine.” He breathed out and I realized that I had started to

scowl at him without even realizing it.

I nodded my head once, not wanting to put him into trouble, and I took a step away from the front of tne

whole pile of stuff, and then I placed my hands around my stomach once again.

“Fine.” I huffed out without thinking and when both men continued to stare at me without saying a thing,

I realized that I had literally sounded like what I’d rather not want anybody here in this house to see and

refer to me as.

A child.

I had literally sounded like a child up there.

I cleared my throat a little as I felt color start to flood my cheeks a little and I pointed at the things on the

floor before them.

“You can start sorting it all out, I guess?” I muttered out with a small shrug of my shoulders and

watched as both men nodded their heads at me.

“Where do you want this at?” U heard Ryan’s voice asked and I raised my head up from my feet to

stare up at him and my eyes landed on the canvas which he was holding carefully.

I turned around in the room and after carefully examining the whole room and imagining the thing in

Ryan’s grip and which particular place that it was going to look good in, I finally pointed at the far end of

the room.

“That place.” I said to him and watched as he nodded his head once before heading towards where I

was still pointing at, in the next instant.

“Right here?” He asked loudly and I shook my head

Immediately before starting to speak.

“No, not in that particular spot, move a little to the right.”

“Mrs Ricci, where would you prefer I place these at?” I heard Ethan’s voice call out for the space Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

behind he and I turned around immediately to stare at him, my eyes dropping on the ground, on where

what he was referring to were placed beside his feet.

“That part.” I said to him and pointed at the direction where I wanted him to place it at.

Almost the same thing was happening over and over again whereby they’d both call me and ask where

I’d want some things to be placed at, and I’d tell them where I want the said stuff to be placed at almost

immediately. It got to appointment whereby both men calls started clashing into each other’s and I

started to mix both men’s voices with each other’s.

As of that wasn’t enough, when giving one men the direction where I’d want him to go in, the second

one would be demanding for my attention and guidance at the same time, and when I turn my attention

around and start to offer attention to the second man, the first man would think I was referring to him

and he’d start moving the thing which he was supposed to be moving in a direction, directing into the

opposite direction before I’d even be able to breath.

“Guys wait.” I called out at a point when both men kept calling my name at the same time for a few

seconds, my head was starting to pound a little and my ears was also starting to ring slightly, which I

didn’t need to think for so long before figuring out that the reason behind that was because of how

many talking and directing I had been doing in just a few minutes, and also how I was turning my head

around and around, it was almost making my eyes start to spin at a point.

I dragged in a deep breath and puffed it out immediately, my chest heaving up and down with the

motion, feelimg eyes of both men on me at the moment as they were obviously waiting on me to inform

them about me reasons for asking them to wait so suddenly.

“Wait, you guys are making my head hurt.” I breathed one and moved a few steps backwards until I

was leaning against the back of the wall, and then I dragged in another deep breath and stared down at

my legs, the dark colored pop socks which I had picked out this morning was clinging to my legs and

my skirt was also making me look really cute.

I finally raised my eyes back up and noticed the blank look on both men’s faces, it was the total

opposite look on their faces, if I was going to start to compare it with tne look on their faces when they

were calling on my face to point out where I’d like each particular things to be placed in.

“What’s wrong?” I demanded before I could stop myself as soon as I had started to push myself away

from the wall which I had been leaning against, about a moment ago.

“We didn’t mean to make your head start to hurt, Mrs Ricci.” Ryan spoke up this time and I stared at

both of them with a look in my eyes that was clearly questioning both men, asking them if they’ve both

lost their minds.

They didn’t mean to make my head hurt… what? Did I ever say it was their fault?

“I didn’t mean that the way my head started to hurt was you guys fault.” I started to say almost

immediately, moving my eyes from both men in a quick second and watching as they both watched me

without saying a thing.

“It wasn’t your fault, the only thing that would be your fault, if it even is, is the fact thst I am moving my

head from side to side while watching what you guys do and watching where you place each said stuffs

in order to ensure that it be placed in a really safe spot.” I started to say once again and didn’t bother to

wait for a reply because I had quickly suspected that I wasn’t going to be receiving one, and so I

continued almost immediately.

“None of this whole be happening, and I mean that none of thing about my head hurting wouldn't have

been happening now if I had agreed to stay back and leave the whole arranging thing to you guys. But I

know myself and I know that I wouldn’t be satisfied with where some stuff would be placed at, I am

sorry but I can’t help that part of my mind, so I see no reason why you should be apologizing.” I said to

both men and watched as they both nodded their heads at me after a few moments.

After that, they both got more slow with the whole calling on my name thing and asking me where some

certain things should be kept in, and I knew without having to wonder for too long, that it was because

they were both waiting end contirbomg that I’d have been completely done with showing the first guy

where some things were supposed to be placed at, before your other guy would then proceed to call

me and ask me where some things should be placed in, with the first guy once again waiting patiently

until it was obvious to him that I was done with the first guy.

And that routine was less stressful and it worked more for me because it was less overwhelming and it

made me have more time in my head to be able to think of some place which I’d want some things to

be placed at, without the other person calling my name and dragging my attention span away almost

immediately.

I dragged in a deep breath and bit on the sides of my inner cheeks to stop the small smile that was

already dancing across my cheeks and lips from spreading out into a wild smile as my eyes ghosted

over the whole room and literally drank in how the room was taking shape and turning into an art room

right before my eyes.

It was so mesmerizing that I had almost missed the voice of Ethan who had apparently been calling on

my name for a few seconds.

“Huh?” I asked in a small voice as soon as I dragged my eyes away from the far end of the room which

I had been staring into, to look into his face.

“Where should I paste these card boards at?” He asked and at the same time waved a bunch of

cardboard at me. I quickly glanced around the room and pointed at the spot behind him, obviously the

place where he least expected me to point out, by the surprised look that crossed his face for a few

moments.

He turned around almost immediately to do as I had requested and I placed my hands at my waist and

moved my eyes around the whole room, feeling my heart start to beat against the sides of my chest.

It was honestly so overwhelming.

The fact that I was currently standing in my own room of art, and it was completely furnished with all

kinds of necessary painting equipment was just so overwhelming, because never in my life would I

have thought or imagined that I’d have all these to myself, a few weeks back.

I now have a room of art to myself.

Oh my gosh, this still feels unreal.

Somebody pinch me.
