Sofia’s POV

I had no idea when the song which had been playing before got played finished, and another one

started to play out immediately after that.

“Dinner’s ready Sofia, and I made it super fluffy like you requested.” A voice started to echo from the

entrance of the sitting room, and I turned my head around to stare at the entrance, where the familiar

voice of Matilda had rang out from. She stopped dead in her tracks as soon as she landed on my face,

and she breathed out a deep breath, with her hand clutching at her heart dramatically.

“Oh, sir… I had no idea you were here all along, pardon me.” She started to speak after a few seconds,

pausing a little before continuing. “Good evening sir, uh? What would you like for dinner?”

I turned my head back around to stare at Sofia who was staring at Matilda with wide eyes, her teeth

moving over her lower lip.

“What are you having tonight?” I asked Sofia and watched as she turned her head around to stare up

at me, and she freed her lower lip before starting to reply. “Uh, waffles? And some little bit of syrup.”

She replied and I almost chuckled at how she had sounded while replying.

“Can you prepare some of those for me as well? I’d have that, it’s been pretty far since I last had it.” I

turned my head around to stare at a wide eyed Matilda who was staring at Sofia and I in shock. Her

eyes skidded away as soon as she realized that she had gotten caught, and I snorted a little.

I wouldn’t even blame her, since I know that the scene she had come into the sitting room to see, would

be super surprising to her, seeing as this was the first time we were both sitting here in the sitting room.

“Noted sir, I’d come back in some time, I’d set the table as well.” She continued before bowing her head

a little. If you’d excuse me.”

Once she had left, I turned my head around to stare at Sofia, who was still staring absentmindedly at

the entrance of the sitting room and I stared pointedly at the side of her face, admiring how perfect her

side profile looked, her cute button nose curved in a really good way from this angle, and her lips were

just looking oh so right.
