Chapter 191
Chapter 191
Luca’s POV
“So, bunny?” I called out after about five minutes, I was almost done with my starter and Sofia was
already halfway into hers. She stared up at me questioningly.
“Tell me something I do not know about you.” I said to her and watched as she leaned back into her
seat, as a far wary look started to settle over her face, probably as she started to think of something to
say to me.
“Um, I like books?” She replied, her response sounding like she was asking a question instead of
making a statement and I breathed out a small chuckle as I picked up my wine glass and started to
move the glass around a little, making the drink swirl around in gushes.
“Oh, you do?” I asked after a few seconds and I watched as she nodded her head once, before she
reached down to pick up her glass of drink as well.
“Yeah, I’m pretty much obsessed with them.” She stated as she sipped a little of her drink. It was her
third glass of wine while I was still on my first, it seems like she really loved this particular drink. I’d
have to remember to note the name of this wine down, so I can stock the frozen room with it.
“Where are all your books though? You did say you’re obsessed with them… I don’t think I’ve ever
seen you reading one before.” I said after a moment.
Sofia stills at that, and she was returning her drink back to the table in the next second. She picked up
her fork and started moving it around her plate absentmindedly, staring pointedly at her plate. I placed
my drink on the table as well, leaning forward and watching her pointedly. I didn’t need to ask her to be
able to tell that her mood had somehow dropped at that very moment.
“Bunny?” I called out and watched as she slowly lifted her head. For a fleeting second, I had been
unconsciously expecting to see tears streaming down her cheeks because I had unconsciously
associated her as someone that shed tears a lot, and I was glad there wasn’t any trace of tears on her
cheeks, nor was her eyes wet a little. The only thing off about her at the moment, was the way the
bright twinkle in her eyes that had been there ever since she got ready for the date tonight wasn’t
anywhere to be found anymore.
She blinked up at me and shifted in her seat a little, and then she reached forward and picked up her
glass of wine, lifting it up and pouring the rest of the content into her mouth. I watched as she savored
the liquid for a moment, before stretching her glass forward to me a little.
“Can you please pour me another drink?” She asked in a soft voice, like she has been doing very since
she got done with the first glass of drink in the blink of an eye. I didn’t like how she looked at the
moment. Tonight was her night, I did all these for her. It wouldn’t feel alright if she didn’t enjoy the rest
of the night the way I expected her to, the way I had hoped she would, the way she had been obviously
doing… until the topic with the books had come up, and then the next moment, she was falling into
silence. Before I could figure out what went wrong and how it went wrong, she was already starting to
pretend like everything was alright.
I wasn’t having any of that tonight.
I shook my head at her before starting to reply to her, “No, I can’t.”
She was genuinely shocked at first and her eyes had widened at first for a few seconds, and then she
had blinked once before starting to question my reasons. “Why?” She asked in a low voice, genuine
surprise visible in her voice. I leaned forward and placed my elbow on the top of the table before
starting to speak.
“Because you’ve had over three glasses of wine, that’s alright like this, to go with your starter.” I said to
her and watched as realization started to dawn on her face.
“Oh.” She whispered after a few moments and I nodded my head once at her.
“Yes, bunny. And you do want to leave some space behind for the actual dinner in your small tummy,
don’t you.” I said to her and watched as she pouted a little for a few seconds.
“I do, I guess.” She replied and I snorted a little.
“You guess?” I demanded and watched as she shrugged her bare shoulders a little, drawing my
attention to her sharp collar bones and the way her shoulders were curved sexily at the moment. Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
“I honestly just want more of that drink, it’s so good.” She whispered after a moment, eyeing the drunk
from her side of the table.
“I noticed you liked it really well after a few seconds of it being delivered to us. I’d have some delivered
to the house tomorrow for you.” I said to her and watched as the piece of information slowly sank into
her head at first, and then she was raising her head and starting at me with the light back in her eyes,
right before she started to speak.
“Really?” She asked and I nodded my head once at her. She lowered her head and stared flatly at the
rest of her starter, and had a feeling she didn’t feel like having more of the rest of her starter, it’s the
same way I’ve abandoned the rest of my starter. I carded my fingers through my hair and glanced
around the whole surroundings of the roof for a few seconds, before turning my head back around to
stare at Sofia, and once again, she was staring at the bottle of wine longingly.
I chuckled a little and picked up the rest of my drink which I had almost forgotten about, and I held it out
to her.
“Since you’re really obsessed with this drink, how about you have the rest of mine.” I said to her and
watched as her face brightened up almost immediately. Her face fell back almost immediately and she
stared to worry her teeth over her lip in the next second before starting to speak.
“But I can’t possibly have that, I’ve had a lot more than you have, I don’t want to shorten your ratio.”
She said after a moment and I felt my eyes start to roll into my head for a moment, of course she’d
have thought of that in just a few seconds. And stretched my hand out and pressed the edge of the
glass cup to her lips and her eyes widened instantly, color flooding her cheeks in the next second.
“Open for me.” I whispered in a low voice and watched as her eyes diluted a little, and her lips fell open
in the next second. I tipped the glass upwards and watched as the content of Ynr glass slid forward into
her mouth. She swallowed as soon as I started to pull the glass cup away from her lips, and placed it in
where it had been sitting before.
“Thank you,” She whispered after a moment and I nodded once at her, feeling my pants start to tighten
for an unknown reason at that particular moment.
“You’re welcome, bunny.” I murmured to her and watched as she started to worry her teeth over her
lower lips once again.
“I’m sorry for drinking your drink though,” She mumbled after a moment and I felt my chest squeezed
tight in that particular moment.
“It’s fine, bunny. I wanted to offer it to you, and also because I don’t really fancy the drink.” I said to her
and watched as her eyes widened a little after a few moments.
“You didn’t like it?” She asked and I nodded my head after a few seconds. “I didn’t hate it, per se. But
then it really isn’t my type or ideal drink, do you understand me?” I explained to her and watched as
she started to worry her teeth over her lower lips once again.
A few seconds had passed before she started to speak. “Why didn’t you order a drink you like?” She
asked after a few moments.
“It’s a good thing I ordered this one, isn’t it? Seeing how much you’re in love with it at the moment. It
also had a little alcohol in it, so it’s alright for you, seeing as you’re finally taking alcohol.” I said to her
almost immediately and I watched as she stared at me intently, listening to everything I was saying.
“Yeah, it is, I guess? I really like the wine.” Sbe admitted after some moments, with tongue farting out to
slide over her lower lips, and I felt my dick jolt in my pants in response to that little swipe of her tongue.
I was really down bad at the moment.
