Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 258

Chapter 258

Luca’s POV

“You’re so cute when you get scared.” I started to say with a slow laugh and I watched as the pout on

her face widened into a scowl, with her hands folded around her kiddie, making her appear duper cute

at the moment. I was going to start with how cute her hair looked, being in this kind of style on her

head, and her face which had a couple of paint splashes and a fingerprint of paint on different spots on

her face.

She had on a large top that she had tied at the middle of her stomach to reveal the lower part of her

stomach that I wanted to kiss really badly in the next moment. She had on a pair of small shorts as

well, and it was all stained with paint here and there.

Like I said, she looked super cute at the moment, really really cute that I could eat her up right now

from how cute she looked right now.

“You scared me.” She accused in a voice laced with so much accusations as she pointed a small finger

at me. I huffed out a small breath and rolled my eyes a little,

“I didn’t mean to, bunny.” I paused and started to move closer to her before continuing. “I just missed

you and decided to come find you,” I informed her and watched as she stared at my face, seeming like

she didn’t believe what I was saying all that much.

I watched as her eyes landed on the drink in my hand and she perked up instantly, all traces of her

previous distress completely forgotten as she closed the distance between us in the next moment.

“Is that for me?” She asked and she paused before me to glance up at me before glancing back down

at the drink, I just know that if this was a fantasy, that she’d definitely have bunny ears that would perk

up in attention each time she get excited in this kind of cute, giddy way.

I bet she’d look really good with bunny ears… and does it even have to be real to begin with?

I shook my head a little to get the sudden thought that had made its way into my head as i wanted to

completely focus on Sofia at the moment – but it seems like Sofia had mistaken the previous shake of

my head as a response to her question about if the second drink I was holding was for her or not.

“Oh.” I watched as she whispered, the excitement slowly draining out of her body really slowly in the

next second and I started to shake my head instantly.

“What? No, it’s yours, it’s all yours.” I said to her as I handed the drink to her. I watched as she

hesitated at first before accepting the drink from my outstretched hand in the next second.

“Oh, thank you.” She gushed out after a couple of moments as she flashed me a smile and I nodded

my head at her as I lifted my own drink and took another mouthful In, swallowing the content down in

the next second.

“I’ve been so thirsty for a drink but I didn’t want to leave this particular painting yet, you know? I want to

be done with it first, but my throat was really dry.” She started to say after some time, voice low and

melodious.

“You really shouldn’t overwork yourself, bunny.” I started to say and watched as she shrugged a little.

“I don’t think I do a quarter of the work you usually do on a daily basis, this is probably nothing for you

so it really shouldn’t be like I’m overworking myself.” She informed me as she slowly inserted the straw

which was attached to the body of the drink, and she took a sip from her drink on the next second,

sighing really softly.

“Oh, bunny… that’s not how you’re supposed to see it.” I said to her and watched as she genuinely

blinked confusingly at me.

“It isn’t?” She asked in the next second and I nodded my head once. I glanced around the room and

noticed that there wasn’t any chair in here.

“There are no chairs in here?” I asked her after a moment and watched as she nodded her head at me

instantly.

“Yes, there are not.”

“Where do you sit?” I asked ax I turned my head around until I was staring down at her.

“Uh, I don’t.” She responded with a lazy lift of her shoulders.

“You don’t?”

“Yeahhhhhh, I don’t. What I usually do is to lie down on the ground.” She explained to me and I blinked

down at her as I started to question myself as to why I had never thought of supplying her with options

of what she could use in sitting in here.

“But you’d like to hand some chairs in here, right? I don’t know how that particular thing never crossed

my mind and you never bothered to let me know that you have nowhere to sit in here,” I continued as I

lifted my drink up and emptied the bottle into my mouth in the next second.

“I had no idea…” I started to say once I had swallowed down the content in my mouth and Sofia started

to shake her head at me in the next second.

“Wait, I don’t need a place to sit.” She started to say and I blinked down at her once in the next

moment.

“You don’t?” I asked and watched as she nodded her head in the next instant, head bobbing cutely and

bun on the top of her head doing nothing but giving her a really cute look.

“Yes, I don’t. If I do, I guess I’d have found a way to get one all these while.” She continued and I

remained silent as I kept staring at her, watching as she drank down her juice really fast, and she was

done after some more minutes. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“If I had wanted a seat, I’d have gotten one, remember you gave me a black card.”

Oh…

I might have completely forgotten about that as it seems... it sounds like a really long time since I

remember assigning a black card to be given to her because it was literally the right thing to do, but

now it was feeling like a long time ago when it had only been around a month ago.

“You remember giving me a black card, right?” She asked after some time, staring at me with narrowed

eyes and I grinned a little before starting to shake my head.

“I honestly don’t.”

“Oh, wow.”

I glanced around the whole place for a couple of moments more before turning back around and

breathing out a small sigh as I slowly slid down to sit on the ground which was spotless and smooth as

hell. I noticed a couple of books were at the far end of the ground, just as I felt Sofia start to sit beside

me, her side brushing against mine.

“Do you mind if I lean against you?” I heard her start to ask as I turned around to stare at her and she

grinned a little as our eyes locked.

“My back is starting to ache a little and your body usually feels like a firm wall.” She continued before

instantly slapping her palm over her mouth as her eyes widened in the next moment, but I was

breathing out a laugh and not taking offense in what she had just said.

I parted my legs and patted my chest, and I watched as color flooded her cheeks a little. I had thought

she was going to start to refuse the offer in the next moment, but she was scrambling and crawling

over my legs to get in between my tights until get back was pressing against my chest, and her head,

just below mine, making it easy for me to pillow my jaw on her head if I wanted to– but her bun and

pencil were in the way and I tugged the pencil out of her hair in the next moment, watching as her hair

fell over her shoulders and chest like a breathtaking waterfall.

“You feel so comfortable.” She murmured as she turned her head around to stare at me, paints

smeared cheeks making her look like a cute mess.

“Thank you, bunny. I’ll be your firm and comfortable wall whenever you want me to.” I said to her with a

small chuckle leaving my lips and I watched as a delighted giggle slipped out of her lips, before she

was turning her head back around and leaning against me fully, and I leaned down to press a kiss

against her hair as a small, relaxed sigh eased out of me.
