Chapter 260
Chapter 260
Luca’s POV
“Oh, I didn’t mean around the inside of the house, I meant the outside. The four corners of the outside
of the house, I wanna see it so bad.” She rephrased, staring at me with so much eagerness obvious in
her eyes.
I sat up carefully, watching as she trailed all my movement with her eyes.
“It’s dangerous to walk around the house but since I’d be with you, I guess I can take you around the
house.” I informed her after a fleeting moment and grinned a little when she squealed excited, getting
off the couch instantly to stand before me.
“Can I go in this?” She asked in the next moment and I lowered my gaze to move past her face and
lower. She was currently in a small top that was a little bit cropped and the skirt she had on was just as
small, it made her look really hot in such a way that made me want to lean forward and press a kiss
into her belly button in the next moment, but I shoved that thought out of my mind as I lifted my gaze
back up until I was looking her in the eyes once again.
“Yes, bunny. It’s pretty good, after all, we’re not leaving the premises.” I started to say as I pushed
myself to my feet and towered over her in the next moment, watching as she gulped and swallowed
emptily as she craned her head to stare up at me.
“Let’s go then.” I said to her and waited for her to walk out of the sitting room, and then I fell into steps
behind her. Once we were outside, I held out my hand and she instantly slipped her hand into mine
without any sort of hesitation.
“Oh my gosh.” She whispered before we were taking two steps away from the front of the main door Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
that led into the house and I was turning around to stare down at her, watching as she was chewing at
the insides of her cheeks.
“What is it, bunny?” I asked in the next moment as I instinctively tightened my hold on her hand. She
glanced up at me in the next moment and started to shake her head at me.
“Uh, it’s nothing.”
I narrowed my eyes in the next moment, watching as she made to start to speak almost immediately. “I
meant that it wasn’t all that important, it was just a thought.”
“What is it then?” I pressed, and I watched as a little color started to make its way into her cheeks.
“Uh, it’s the teddy bear you got me.” She breathed out after puffing out a deep breath and I nodded my
head at her, indicating for her to continue.
“What’s up with it?” I asked in the next moment.
“Nothing’s up with it, it’s just that, I wished I could bring it along with me.” She continued as soon as
she had swallowed once again.
“Go get it then, I’ll be waiting for you here.” I encouraged her as I nodded my head towards the door but
she was shaking her head as well.
“On second thoughts, I’ve decided to not bring it along with me, because it’s a really heavy teddy
because of all the stuffings inside of it.” She confessed as she glabved up at me once again.
“Hm…” I trailed off to a moment at first before continuing after a few seconds. “I can carry it for you if
it’s too heavy for your tiny hands, I take it that you want to cuddle it along the way or when we get to
some places at the back.” I continued and watched as a small smile broke out on her face at first.
“I mean, if it wouldn’t be too heavy for you?” And of fires she was back to ending a sentence like she
was asking a question.
“You do know how long it takes for me to get tired. And besides, I doubt if the teddy is actually that
heavy.”
“It is heavy!” She exclaimed after a fleeting moment and I chuckled a little as I started to nod my head .
“Would you go get it for me?” I asked in the next moment and watched as she started to nod her head
at me, before finally turning around and making her way into the house.
I turned around a little to check if some of the guards had been watching the little interaction I had with
Sofia just now. And I had a feeling a few of the guards had noticed even though they were all walking
around and acting like they haven’t recently been trying to eavesdrop on what I was doing with Sofia.
Bunch of fools. I had no problems with my guards, they know how to respect themselves and sure as
hell wouldn’t do more than themselves. Unlike when I had to put up a font whenever I was outside of
my house, it was a lot less when it comes to me being here in my house. Of course I wouldn’t be fully
relaxed and unguarded around them, but the whole act I put outside tends to reduce a lot in here, so I
had a feeling they were not going to react way too when they see me walking around with a teddy bear
in my arms.
Even if any of them finding it unusual for me, they were all going to have to keep their opinions to
themselves and wouldn’t dare try to act stupid around me for their own complete good. I turned my
head around when I started to hear the light movement of a pair of feet on the ground, and I felt myself
grinning a little as I took in how cute Sofia looked at the moment with a huge teddy clutched at her
front. It looked really bigger than I had expected it to be in person when I had ordered it from a store
online. She paused before me and I reached around her to pull the door close behind her. I wasn’t
going to be locking the door with a key this time because of the people still inside at the moment, all I
was going to be doing was to leave it this way, I was sure that a couple of guards were going to come
position themselves before this door as soon as I’d be leaving this spot.
“Alright, I’m ready.” Sofia gushed out and I reacted down to stroke her hair with my fingers for a
moment.
I reached out and grabbed the teddy from her grip, and like I expected, it didn’t really weigh that much
but it wasn’t a light weight, it was definitely heavier than Sofia weighs on my arms.
I puffed out a slow breath as I held my hand out to her as he led her down the stairs until we were both
walking to the far end of this side of this house that would lead to the back of the house.
“What’s its name?” I asked her after a few minutes and watched as she turned her head around to
glance at me, befute lifting her shoulders a little.
“I haven’t really settled on one yet.” She admitted.
“Why? You don’t wanna name it yet?” I asked almost immediately and I watched from the side of my
eyes as she started to shake her head.
“Oh my gosh, no. It’s not that at all.” She glanced at the teddy in the other side of my arm before
continuing.
“I just haven’t settled on one yet, I’m very indecisive, I guess.” She admitted with another shrug of her
shoulders.
“You think so?” I asked and watched as she nodded her head, tightening her hold on my fingers.
“I don’t think it’s only about this particular thing, it happens a lot with me when it comes to a lot of things
which I’d label as important in my head and… and sometimes, even things that are not all that
important, I’d just still find myself finding it really hard to settle on one option.” She trailed off and puffed
out a deep breath before continuing.
“And if I end up settling on a particular option, it would end up feeling like the complete wrong one or
the worst of the remaining options in my head.” She puffed out a slow breath as soon as she was done
and turned her head around to stare up at me, eyes squinting a little and head corking to the side in a
really adorable way.
“Is that normal?”
She asked after a few moments without glancing up at me, and before I could begin to speak, she
started to shake her head before pointing out in a small voice.“What am I saying? Of course it isn’t
normal, it’s the complete opposite of normal.”
I tightened my hold on her hand after a few moments when she had finished speaking, and was doing
nothing but dragging in deep breaths into her lungs the next moment.
It was obvious that this particular topic had been worrying her a lot, which was why she had probably
ended up saying more than she had wanted to at the start of the whole thing.
