Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 86

Chapter 86

Luca’s POV

I stood outside the gate which I had come to, three days ago with the help of the people working on

tech and computers here in my mafia, and the young dude who had accompanied me over to this

place, with a screen which was showing the exact place where they were at, with the help of Aria’s

phone which I had asked the guys to track, and the tracking device had led us to this particular house.

I glanced sideways at James and he grinned widely, his eyes having a look with I recognized in them

immediately, he was going into what I’d call a Godzilla mood.

It only happen whenever we were about to enter into a fight, or whenever he was abou to interrogate

someone and it was going to involve turture. Stuffs like this spurs James on and it was comical as hell,

watching him slip into that mood effortlessly, where his smile would look so cold and he’d get this look

in his eyes where he’d appear like a really emotionless maniquin and all all that was going to be

controlling him or spurring him to make a move, was the anguished cry of the people he was currently

torturing.

“James?” I called out and he glanced at me, his eyes appearing as emotionless as ever and a quick

glance at his hands showed that his hands were in a tight fist. Despite that the facial expression on his

face was a really relaxed one, he was the complete opposite or relaxed at this moment and he could

easily render someone unconscious with two fingers pressed into the main muscles points on their

necks.

“Don’t hurt any of them way too much, yeah?” I started to say after a few moments and he nodded his

head at me immediately in a jerky movement, a small sick smile starting to tug the sides of his mouth.

Despite all of these, I know my best friend so much and I know that he wasn’t a bad prrson.

James isn’t a bad person – this part of him is just one of him, and the fact that he enters a whole

completely differently mood whenever he gets into this mood, still didn’t mean he was a bad person.

He was still very much of a good person and would always be a good person. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“I mean it, man.” I started to say to him immediately and lifted my hand to place it lightly on his

shoulder. He turned his head around and stared at it without saying a thing, and slowly glanced away

from the hand to stare at his feet after a few more moments.

I took my hand off his shoulder after a few seconds and started to speak, continuing from the particular

place which I had stopped at. “I mean it, man. Those guys are still young, dumb boys, despite what

they had done… and no matter what we are going to do to them today, we are not going to cause any

kind of complete damage on them, neither are we going to have them killed.”

I paused for a moment and despite the fact that James was still staring down at his feet, he nodded his

head once because he knew I was staring at him and waiting for him to give me a sign that he was

indeed listening to what I say saying. “We are just going to come scare them up really well, and give

them lots of bruises, some beatings which would undoubtedly land them in the hospital, and they’re

also going to be catering for all the expenses which had been made for Aria at the hospital, and then

we are going to leave them with a very intent and serious warning.”

“We’re also going to make sure it gets to their father's hearing, so as to embarrass them even more,

but we are not going to kill them.” I finally finished what I was saying and stared pointedly at James. He

then lifted his head up after some more moments and rolled his eyes a little before nodding his head a

couple of times.

“I get it, we’re not going to get them killed, we’re just going to injure them and beat them around and

warn them and stuff.” He started to say and I nodded my head along with him.

“Yes, except to kill them.” I echoed after him and continued after a moment. “We’re also going to not

cause any kind of serious damage to them, nothing overly serious, but still serious enough to make

them visit the hospital.”

“Alright, alright. I get it.” James agreed after a moment, shrugging a little and glancing back down to

stare down at his shuffling foot.

“I know you, James. That’s why I’m trying to get this out of the way. I swear to God, I am not having it if

any of those damn boys wind up dead in your hands, we’d have to start explaining what happened to

his father, the lord of one of our neighboring mafias and I won’t be having none of that.” I pointed out to

him immediately, staring at him pointedly, and I knew his mind was flying towards that particular day, a

year ago – when we had only planned to torture some people, but not to kill them, and of course, one

of the guys James was supposed to handle had ended up dying because James had gotten too carried

away and had delivered way too many blows and kicks on the guy who had ended up dying.

“I get it, man. I won’t lose control, take my word for it and don’t doubt my every word because of that

particular time.” He pushed out of my thinned lips, his face pulled into a small frown.

“I know, I’m just trying to be sure.” I said to him almost immediately, shrugging my shoulders at him

when he turned his head towards me to throw a glare at me.

“Let’s go in and get it over with.” He finally said after a few moments and I nodded my head once at him

before turning around and nodding my head at my guards who were still standing at the sides of the

cars which we had ridden here, and I watched as they all started to walk towards us, all walking in sync

and in a poised and fluid grace, which only a fully trained and sharp guard could pull off effortlessly.

“Knock on the gate,” I said to the guard who was standing in the middle of the whole guards, he was

one of the fastest guards amongst my whole guards which I had picked out myself in order for them to

start accompanying me over to wherever I go, for added protection.

He nodded at me immediately and moved smoothly, reaching towards the front of the gate and

knocking on it sharply. We waited a couple of minutes and I ordered for him to knock once again, which

he did immediately – a the sound of someone starting to unlock the door from the other side of the gate

slowly filled the quiet atmosphere.

The gate pulled open and I recognized the dude who stared into my face and realization dawned on his

face almost immediately. I watched as he muttered something incoherent and was about to shut the

gate my face, but the guard who I had picked out to come forward and knock on the door-– quickly shot

out his leg to place between the gate before it got slammed shut, and I pushed it open with my hand,

stunning the dude who had come forward to open the gate into shock and frozen fright.

I grabbed his shirt and jerked him forward and he started to tremble in fright even before my hand could

completely wrap around his shirt.

“Where the fuck are your bosses?” I asked in a quiet voice and he pointed towards the direction of the

house immediately, his eyes focusing on any other place but on my eyes.

Of course he’d out his boss out in the blink of an eye, pathetic bunch of people.
