Chapter 46: I Seem to Already Have Plans for Her
...This man was really clueless to the ways of seduction. "You want me to bring up other men right
now? What a moodkiller that'll be."
"So you have already had a lover."
"Yes." Fleur said, "I can't be as infatuated as Mr. Martinez is with only one Miss Lopez for all these
years."
"So did your ex teach you the way you seduce men now? Or did you treat him the same stubborn way
as right now?"
Fleur stayed silent. Her eyes glazed over for a moment before she smiled widely. "I would devoted
myself to my lover, never suppressing my affection and love for him."
"Mr. Martinez." Fleur's fingers lingered by his lips, her voice magnetic. "You'll find that being my lover is
a very blissful thing to be."
"So, who was your lover?" Olivier pried her hand away.
"You want to know? You're not going to get jealous and beat him to a pulp are you?"
"I want to have a talk with him and see whether being your boyfriend is actually 'blissful'."
"Of course it is."
"Then why did you come to me? Did he got so annoyed by you that he snapped and dumped you?"
Fleur's eyes flashed. "Do I annoy you?"
"Very much so!"
Fleur then crossed her arms around her chest. "Fine, I'll leave you to your peaceful quiet."
She turned around and left. Olivier did not respond either.
When she reached the door:
"I'll get off work at 6 PM and be back for dinner at by 7. Get four dishes ready by then."
Fleur was stunned silent. She did not know how to cool, besides, she would be going to The Stunning
Club tonight after seeing Simon's text.
"Mr. Martinez, can I cook for you some other night?"
"Is that all the sincerity you have to show if you want me to like you?"
"..."
"Four dishes, no more no less. If it tastes terrible, you're sleeping in the guestroom tonight."
......
After Fleur left, Olivier took a deep breath. The raw heat he felt ever since Fleur arrived had never left.
Desire tinged his eyes, adding an irresistible charm to his features.
It took him a long while to recover himself.
He went to his desk just as his phone rang.
"Speak." Olivier still felt the echoes of Fleur's lips and taste on his, carrying a seductive memory. He
placed a lit cigarette in his mouth to wipe away all traces of her taste.
"Mr. Martinez, I've found new information. Samuel Muller was previously primarily responsible for S
City's winery. His activity was centered there as well. Miss Leroy on the other hand was in L City before
she came here. There is no record of them being involved."
Really?
Was the lover Fleur talking about not Samuel then?
"Go on."
"Master Samuel apparently did have a lover. When I went to S City to enquire about it, the winery staff
claimed Master Samuel took care of his lover very much and never brought her out into the public eye,
hence they've never seen her as well.
Miss Leroy has been in L City for the past few years, but her circle was always small. She only has an
elder sister and no other relatives. There's nothing else out of the ordinary. She never left L City either.
All of last year, There was no news about her."
Olivier silently listened to the speaker with his eyes closed.
"We're not sure where she was or what she did. There was no telecommunication records of her that
we could be fine. The next time she appeared was here in Y City, opening up the Stunning.
With all the facts together: disappearing for a whole year, then opening up the Stunning only for it to
quickly rise to become one of the top hotspots in Y City. If Fleur did not have a large circle nor any
powerful providers behind her, the only logical reason was that she was an extremely brave woman,
and a good business woman at that.
But if it was not because she had a wealthy or influential background nor provider, how could she have
gotten the minimum tens of millions of dollars needed to build such a large nightclub? Fifteen-storeys at
that, too.
How did she manage that?
"Are you sure she had nothing to do with Samuel?"
"If the information was not tampered, then yes, I'm sure. Their lives never interfered with one another
and neither did they ever cross paths."
......
Fleur leisurely went downstairs in the elevator reserved for the president's use. When she reached her
car in the parking lot, she rested in it for a long while.
She laid down afterwards, resting her eyes for a moment before starting the engine and heading
straight to her club.
No one was in the club at 2 PM, only she alone stood in the empty hall, eyes scanning the luxurious
interior design.
Fleur strode to the bar and sat down, where the surface had been vandalised until a 2 meter crack
appeared.
She stayed there quietly, thoughts undecipherable.
An hour had passed by the time she regained some semblance of awareness. Dazed, she got up and
phoned Thierry.
"Were one of the waitresses hospitalised?" Thierry had said her teeth were punched out.
"Yes."
"Have finances pay her an extra sum of consolation money."
"Yes, miss."
Fleur returned to the Oriental Estate after that. Olivier knew she did not know how to cook yet asked
her to.
Obviously he did it on purpose.
To have someone warm her bed tonight, Fleur could only obey.
Simon called while she was going back with another number.
"You blacklisted me?"
Fleur wore sunglasses that accentuated her delicate face. "Mhm. We're not compatible."
"Miss Leroy, you sure have a way of luring men in."
"Thank you. That's what my Olivier said as well."
Simon's heavy breathing could be heard from the other end of the phone. With a laugh, Fleur said,
"Simon, are you getting aroused just by listening to my voice?"
"..."
"Be careful. I might tell Olivier and he'll come after you."
"Fleur." Simon did not sound angry, instead his voice was deep and magnetic. "You're really not
concerned I'll lose control of myself and come at you one day, huh?"
"Resist it first. You can wait until Master Olivier abandons me, then you can lose control."
Simon hung up and took a deep breath. It was curious how Fleur could arouse one's anger just as
easily as she could arouse desire.
Perhaps it was even more so for Olivier.
Just then, Olivier called.
"Mr. Martinez, what can I do for you?" This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
"The investigation reports say Samuel and Fleur had no connections at all, neither in a relationship nor
even friends. You can stop concerning yourself with her."
Simon did a twirl in his office chair. The sunlight glancing off his leg made the lean muscle there visible.
"Olivier, are you warning me not to cross paths with her that often?"
"Smart man. I won't need to waste my breath then."
"Pity, I seem to..." Simon eyed the sunlight on the floor, recalling when Fleur was lying against his desk.
His eyes seemed to deepen. "...already have feelings for her."
