CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1072

As they approached the entrance to the carnival, the crowd looked overwhelming, stretching as far as the eye could see.

Nash immediately wrapped his arm around her and whispered, "Maybe we should change clothes first. I don't want anyone getting too close to you in that dress."

Nina scoffed, "What? You didn't think about this when you picked out the dress? No way, I'm not changing. I look great tonight, and with so many people here, I'm not missing out." Nash sighed, realizing there was no changing her mind. He stayed close, carefully watching over her.

With that decision made, Nina threw herself into enjoying the night. She tried different foods, handing anything she couldn't finish to Nash.

She sipped on drinks, offering what she didn't finish to him as well. She experimented with games, and when she got scared, she would rush into Nash's arms for safety.

She was like the brightest star in the night sky, playfully shining, attracting admiration from those around her. But not all attention was good.

While waiting in line for ice cream, someone bumped into Nina, and her expression instantly darkened.

Nash noticed and asked with concern, "What happened?"

"I got groped."

Nina scanned the crowd, but there was no sign of the culprit, though the offense was clear.

Nash's expression turned grim.

He grabbed her hand and led her toward a nearby clothing store, his voice firm, almost commanding, "Change into something else, or we're going home right now."

"Why are you taking it out on me? I didn't do anything wrong."

"I know, but it bothers me. I'm angry for you and for myself."

Nash's frustration was palpable. His woman had been disrespected, and he didn't even know who to blame.

Nina, feeling upset herself, chose an overly conservative outfit and headed into the dressing room. She decided to stay in there a bit longer than necessary, thinking, "If he's mad, let him wait and see who gets impatient first." Time passed, and still, Nash made no move.

Now even more frustrated, Nina stepped out. She was ready to confront him, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Nash, you've got some nerve!"

Stomping her foot in anger, she changed back into her dress and went out to search for him.

The night was bustling, with people everywhere and vendors calling out. Nina wandered aimlessly through the crowd, but Nash was nowhere to be found.

Just as she was about to give up and head home alone, she heard Nash's voice coming from a nearby alley.

"Miss, you're blocking my way with those flowers. I'm not the person you're looking for."

Nash sounded exasperated, and in front of him stood a woman in a long dress. From behind, she had a great figure, comparable to Nina's own.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

The woman spoke shyly, "Sir, I think

I've fallen for you at first sight. I know you must be surprised. I'm surprise too. When we turned the corner and our eyes met, my heart started racing. I've never felt that way before, but I know it's love."

Nash frowned, regretting that he hadn't thought of lines like that when he was pursuing Nina.

"Sir, could you accept me? I want to be with you."

The woman extended a large bouquet of flowers, even bigger than the one that had been on the round table at the hotel.

Nina clenched her fists, ready to teach Nash a lesson if he dared to accept the bouquet.

The night breeze carried the scent of barbecue from the carnival.

Nash smirked slightly, "Miss, I'm

married. See this wedding ring? My wife gave me a wonderful son. If we weren't trying to have a quiet evening together, you'd have had the pleasure of meeting him."

"Sir..."

"And my wife is just up ahead, buying clothes. Why don't I take you to meet her?" Nash pointed to the alley entrance, where Nina was peeking out from behind a corner.

She quickly ducked back, listening as the woman sighed, "I can tell you love your wife very much. She's lucky Sir, I guess we aren't meant to be I'll keep the flowers."
