CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 934

It was Micah.

His expression was grim as he strode over. With a single look from him, Mr. Joker understood and immediately moved to pull the woman away.

Realizing Micah's anger, the woman dared not stay any longer. Meanwhile, Nina, with her cold demeanor, stood like a queen.

"Nina, I'm sorry," Micah said, standing before her, his face full of remorse.

Nina's tone was distant. "This isn't your fault. I agreed to come here because of Seth. I made that clear when we spoke. When do you plan to start your operation?"

She preferred to act, not react.

Micah replied, "Rest well today. We'll begin tomorrow. As soon as we make our move, Seth won't be able to hold back."

"Flushing Seth out of hiding," Nina nodded. "Fine. While I'm here, unless there's an emergency, I don't want anyone disturbing me. And I heard someone mention you plan to hand over control of the Yaren tribe to me?" She looked directly at Micah, her intense gaze leaving no room for evasion.

Micah remained silent for a moment. It was true. He and his father had such intentions. They had hoped to discuss it with Nina and win her over with their actions. But an indiscreet person had let it slip.

Micah, though frustrated, felt more resigned than angry. The trauma Nina had endured could never be undone.

"Nina, it's been so long. Haven't we done enough to earn your forgiveness? We didn't know who you were especially my father. When he found out, he wanted to make amends. The room you refused to stay in was personally designed by him."

Micah took a sharp breath.

Seeing that Nina was aware, he decided to be honest. However, his words made Nina uncomfortable, as every sentence seemed to defend the Pharaoh.

Nina could not be moved. "I can't alter my past memories. And nothing you do now can change what happened."

"Everyone has a past. The Yaren tribe has improved. Can't you..."

"Don't tell me that," Nina cut him off. "It's not about forgiveness. I can't accept this reality. I was raised in Birkham and my parents are there. I know nothing of my past and Nash is already dead..." Content_belongs to FindNovelContent from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

"Nina," Micah gripped her shoulders, his voice firm, "I know you've been investigating Nash's death for years We had nothing to do with it. You've seen our efforts. You've become a war journalist and helped the needy. Why can't you acknowledge us?"

One of the main reasons Micah brought Nina back to the Yaren tribe was to deal with Seth and to hand over control to her. But also, he wanted her to remember her past.

Nina's throat tightened, as if an invisible hand was squeezing it, leaving her breathless.

"Why do you keep pushing me? I'm here to handle business. If you think those things are more important, then I'll leave."

She pushed Micah's hand away and turned her back on him.

Who could accept that their biological father was a ruthless villain?
