“Now I can have a good night sleep,” Brandon said with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Hannah angrily lifted her head to glare at him. “This man derives so much pleasure in taking advantage of me,” Hannah thought wondering what Brandon was always thinking because he seems to always have dirty thoughts on his mind.

“Just leave!” She shoved him hard and turned around to walk into her room. Thereafter, she slammed the door shut after her.

At that moment, her heart started beating uncontrollably and she could still taste him on her lips.

However, she couldn’t understand her feelings. What’s going on with me?! I don’t seem to despise it and surprisingly it feels totally enjoyable?!

Hannah seemed to be in a trance and she quickly forced herself to eliminate the thoughts in her mind. After that, she removed her clothes and went to take a shower.

While she was in the shower, all she could think about was Brandon.

“Oh god! What is wrong with me” she thought to herself. When she was done showering, she went to her room, put on a simple night dress, and lay on the bed.

That night, Hannah had trouble sleeping as she lay on her bed and her thoughts kept going to the kiss she had with Brandon by the door.

At the same time, she realized that he was indeed a crafty person. When she thought he would not take advantage of her he had purposely left his phone on the bed just now to force her to bring it out for him.

As such, he took advantage of the situation afterward. How annoying! Undeniably though, he’s good at being provoking.

One would find such a man hard to resist if the person didn’t have a firm heart. However, Hannah trusted that she could resist the seduction and she wouldn’t be affected by what he does at all.

It was morning and Hannah had woken up so late. She checked her time and it was almost 9 am.

“Oh my goodness!” she mumbled as she jumped off the bed. She had slept so late because she kept thinking about Brandon.

She rushed to the bathroom, brushed her teeth and took her bath, then went to her kid’s room, to help them get ready for school but to her utmost surprise, the kids weren’t in bed and their beds were properly arranged like no one had slept on them last night.

She gave out a breath of relief as she saw them in the dining room eating breakfast.

For a second she was scared, now seeing them in the dining room eating, she was relieved.

“Mommy” the kids called out as Hannah walked towards them.

“Hey sweethearts” Hannah muttered and paused when she noticed the kids were already dressed for school.

“Did you guys get dressed for school?” Hannah asked with a confused expression on her face.

If Arianna was at home, she would say she was the one who helped them get dressed, but she wasn’t home, which means it’s either the maids or…. She paused.

“I did” Brandon interrupted and Hannah turned only to see him walking out of the kitchen, with an apron on and a plate of food in his hands.

Hannah was surprised at first.

“Did you help the kids get dressed and also cook for them?” Hannah asked, looking around wondering where the maids were.

“Yeah,” he smirked as he put the food on the table and then turned to Hannah.

“I only helped them get dressed, although the maids assisted me and I wasn’t the one who cooked, the maids did,” Brandon said as he moved towards Hannah and placed his hands on her shoulder.

“I didn’t want to stress you about anything, anymore. I knew you were tired last night after we.……”

“Brandon!!!” Hannah called as she stared at the kids who were focused on their food. He smirked.

“Come eat breakfast, I served yours already,” Brandon, who was trying to be romantic, enunciated as he pulled out a chair for Hannah.

“No, I’m fine, I’m not hungry,” Hannah replied.

“Mommy, please join us. Daddy asked the maid to prepare your favorite food” Jayden chipped in and Hannah raised her eyebrows confused.

“And how the hell did you know my favorite food?” Hannah questioned as she stared at Brandon who chuckled.

Hannah stared at her kids who gave her innocent looks.

They told Brandon. She wondered what else the kids had told Brandon about her. She couldn’t scold the kids. She didn’t have any choice but to join them for breakfast.

She sat in the chair Brandon had earlier told her to sit on and Brandon then took a seat beside her.

They started eating In silence. Hannah hummed as she took a spoon full of her favorite, rice and pepper sauce. It was delicious. She would have missed this meal if she had left just now.

Brandon on the other hand kept taking side glances at Hannah as she ate, his lips curled into a smile. He was surely gonna learn how to prepare Hannah’s favorite and surprise her with it in the future, he thought as he kept staring at her.

However, it wasn’t long and they were all done eating. Hannah took a glass of juice on the table and drank from it before dropping the glass on the table.

“Mommy, did you enjoy the meal?” the kids asked at once and Hannah nodded with a smile on her face. Brandon laughed and Hannah turned to him wondering what was funny and why he was laughing.

She shot Brandon a deadly glare.

“There’s something on your mouth,” Brandon said and Hannah wiped her mouth wondering what was in it.

She gave Brandon a side eye.

“Are you pranking me?” she asked as she frowned, Brandon sighed and used his thumb to clean off the little sauce that was sitting at the side of her pretty lips, and then licked it.

“Brandon, what are you doing? The kids are watching!” Hannah muttered as they both turned and saw eight little innocent eyes staring at them.
