A Black car came to a stop in front of the Colby’s Mansion. The kids alighted the car, same as Hannah and Brandon. Throughout the ride, Hannah didn’t say a word.

It was only Brandon and the kids who kept talking about the event. They all walked inside the house and Brandon asked the kids to go to their room.

They nodded obediently and went to their room.

Hannah was about to leave and Brandon turned to her.

“We need to talk,” he said and Hannah turned to him, staring at him with anger written all over her face. She hated the fact that Brandon had stopped her from killing Rosa.

“Why would you do that? Why would you get into a fight?” Brandon asked and Hannah scoffed and was about walking away when Brandon spoke.

“Don’t you dare walk out on me” he said and Hannah rolled her eyes and turned to him.

“What are you gonna do if I walk away?” Hannah asked and Brandon stared at the petite woman. She was challenging him.

“Try me and see,” Brandon said and Hannah walked away from him and went to her room. Brandon sighed softly, this woman was one of the most stubborn people he’d encountered in his entire life.

Brandon turned and saw Alex staring at him.

Since Alex started working for Brandon, no one has ever challenged him the way Hannah did. Brandon must have a soft spot for this woman, Alex thought.

“What are you staring at?” Brandon asked and Alex quickly walked away.

Brandon climbed upstairs and went to Hannah’s room. He pushed the door open and saw Hannah standing by her dressing table.

“What do you want?” She asked as she turned to him.

“Why would you get into a fight in the kid’s school?” Brandon asked and Hannah sighed.

“She came at me first. I just can’t stand and watch her humiliate me. She got what she deserved, ” Hannah said and Brandon paused, staring at her.

“That was the kid’s school for goodness sake, what do you think people will say to them when they get to school?

Can’t you put them first, what sort of mother are you?” Brandon said and Hannah scoffed.

“Don’t you dare ask me such a question again? I have always put my kids first in everything I do. They’ve always come first, don’t you ever dare ask me what sort of mother I am, not like you are a good father to them” Hannah said as tears gathered in her eyes.

“Hannah….”

“Get out!! I said, get out!!!” She yelled and he nodded before walking out of the room.

Hannah burst into tears as she sat on the bed. She’s been through a lot, it was all because of Rosa and his son.

They ruined her life and had almost killed her, she thought as she lay on the bed, and closed her eyes, just then she drifted to sleep.

Meanwhile, Brandon had gone to Hannah’s room to check on her only to find out she was fast asleep.

He sighed as he stared at the woman. One would look at her and not believe she was the one fighting today, Brandon smiled as he stared at her innocent-looking face.

He didn’t know why but there was something about this woman that drove him completely crazy.

He glanced at her for a few more seconds before walking out of the room.

He walked out of their room, went downstairs, and sat on the couch while going through his phone.

Just then he saw Jessica climbing down the stairs.

“I didn’t know you were at home,” Brandon said and Jessica sighed.

“I have been in my room” Jessica said in response.

“We will be holding a party here in a week or two, I need you to arrange with Hannah,” Brandon said and Jessica hummed.

Brandon knew Jessica loves parties, it was one of her hobbies, so she knew how to plan one.

“And what is the purpose of the party?” Jessica asked.

“We are celebrating 500 million sales of the company. A lot of clients of mine would be attending, so I want everything to be top-notched” Brandon said and Jessica nodded. Just then a message popped on Brandon’s phone.

“Have you seen the news?” the message stated and he picked up the remote and switched on the TV.

The headline of the news stated.

“Wife of a CEO Brandon Colby in a fight with a woman who is recognized to be Jeff Mikealson’s mother. Rumor says The Wife of the CEO Hannah is the Ex-wife of Jeff Mikealson and she cheated on him with CEO Brandon Colby”

“When did this happen? And how the hell did Jeff and Hannah’s past relationship get to the press” Jessica asked

“Someone might have released it to the press to tarnish the company’s image,” Brandon said, a different thought going through his mind. Just then different messages and calls were popping on his phone.

“This is going to affect your reputation as you are a public figure and the company too,” Jessica said and Brandon stood up at once.

“Where are you off to?” Hannah asked as Brandon dialed a number and put the phone in his ear.

“I need to make some calls,” Brandon said and Jessica hummed before walking to the kitchen to get something to eat.

Hannah was woken up by the sound of her phone.

She opened her eyes, picked up the phone and opened it and then saw the news of when she and Rosa had gotten into a fight. It was also stated she was the ex-wife of Jeff and that she had cheated on Jeff with Brandon.

“What?” She muttered as she stared at her phone. She knew it was Rosa who had said these things to the press and she even lied. She was trying to get back at her for beating her today.

That bitch, she thought angrily. Just then the room to her door opened revealing Jessica.

“Hey” Hannah muttered

“You saw the news?” Jessica asked and Hannah nodded in response.

“What are we going to do?” Hannah asked

“You need to clear your name and release a statement, give the press the full story. Since they wanna gaslight you, you gaslight them in return” Jessica said and Hannah sighed.

“What about Brandon? What does he think about this idea?” Hannah asked

“It’s your choice to make, do you wanna do it?” A voice sounded and they turned to see Brandon standing by the door.

“Yes, I will do it,” Hannah said in response and just then Alex walked inside the room.

“Sir, the press is outside our gate, what should we do?” Alex asked

“Let them in”
