Brandon turned and saw Hannah who stared at him and walked past him to the underground parking lots.

She searched for the files in her car, but unfortunately, it wasn’t there. She sighed softly and then closed the car door and to her surprise she saw Brandon standing by her car.

“What do you want?” Hannah asked as she closed the car door.

“I thought I told you, you would be stepping down,” Brandon asked with a frown on his face and Hannah scoffed.

“Yeah, so you could ask your girlfriend to come take my position,” Hannah said as she stared Brandon straight in the eyes,

“Oh please stop the pretense. Everyone knows that you and Isabella are both dating. There’s no need to hide it from me.

The both of you look cute together and would make a great couple” Hannah said and was about to walk away when Brandon blocked her way.

He stared at Hannah and smiled while he seductively squinted his eyes. Hannah rolled her eyes.

“Get out of my way, Brandon” Hannah said as she stared at him angrily. She wasn’t gonna fall for his charm again, never, she thought.

“Are you jealous?” Brandon said with a smirk on his face and Hannah rolled her eyes and stared at him in disbelief.

“I am not jealous, why would I be jealous? You are not even my type of man” Hannah pushed him out of her way and was about to walk away when she paused and turned.

“You are not even my type, and that eye thing you do all the time, you should stop it, it doesn’t suit you, you already look ugly enough, stop making yourself look more ugly,” Hannah said and with that, she walked away.

Brandon felt his heart break into pieces as she called him ugly. Did he look ugly? There are lots of women out there telling him how handsome he looks and this woman dares to call him ugly.

Just then His secretary walked in holding some files in his hands.

“Sir, Mrs Colby asked me to drop these files on your table that you should sign on them and she said the board meeting will be held by 2 pm today,” Max said as he dropped the file on the table. Brandon wasn’t paying any attention to what he was saying.

All he could think about at the moment was what Hannah had told him, that he was ugly.

“I will be going now, sir,” Max said to Brandon who hadn’t said a word to him since he entered the office, and was about to leave when Brandon called him, making him pause.

“Sir” he muttered and turned to him.

“I’m I really ugly?” he asked and Max stared at him looking confused.

“Sir?” he muttered as he stared at Brandon looking confused.

“I’m I attractive?” he asked

“Sir, I’m not into men. I love women ” Max stuttered and Brandon shot him a deadly glare.

“Get out!” he said and Max nodded before running out of the office.

He stood up and decided to go to Hannah’s office.

Meanwhile, Hannah is seen in her office looking angry while going through some files on her table. She felt so angry that Isabella had brought food for Brandon and she also kissed him on his cheeks.

She felt so much anger mixed with jealousy in her stomach. The other time, she caught them kissing in Brandon’s office and now today, she fucking brought him food and kissed him on his cheeks.

“That bitch, she was gonna put her in her place soon, so she would know whose husband she’s flirting with,” Hannah thought, and then for some seconds she paused.

Did I just agree that Brandon is my husband? I don’t know what’s wrong with me, she thought as she touched her forehead and sighed.

Why was she even thinking about Brandon, she thought as she tried to wave the thought of Brandon off her mind.

Just then the door burst open revealing Brandon.

Hannah raised her head and saw the man walk In, she rolled her eyes wondering what he wanted.

They both stared at each other and their eyes came in contact. They both looked away.

“What do you want? You should be going through the files I sent to you just now, I would be needing them before the end of today,” she said as she stared at the computer in front of her.

“Are you commanding me?” Brandon asked as he stared at the woman in awe.

“Brandon, I believe you are the CEO of this company, you should act like one if you do not want to be voted out”

“Are you threatening me in my own company?” Brandon asked, looking amazed.

“You can take it as a threat if you want. And one more thing, as the chief operating officer, I do not want to see your girlfriend here anymore in this company” Hannah said and Brandon hummed.

“And why is that?”

“I don’t know, everything thinks I’m your wife and you are bringing a new woman in and acting romantic to her in front of everyone.

You don’t want rumors flying around that the CEO of Colby co is a cheater for now, you should get a hotel and do whatever you wish” Hannah paused and checked her time.

“When our contract expires, you are free to bring her home or the company, by then I would be gone,” Hannah said as she stood up and picked up her iPad.

“Hannah, there is nothing going on between me and Isabella” Brabdon said and tried touching Hannah who slapped his hands away angrily.

“I’m not blind, Brandon. See you in the boardroom,” she said and with that, she walked out.
