Chapter 103
I was fuming as I stood in the kitchen, forced to cook without any underwear on and wearing a ridiculous dress. I felt so freaking exposed, like the only thing that was shielding me from being stark naked was this flimsy a** dress and I knew that I was practically naked wearing the dress, I could not bend to pick up anything, I could not stretch to pick up anything, 1 could not move too fast or the dress would pull itself up and my** would be on full display to this clown that was dedicated to ruining my life. It was pure torture.
I was trying really hard to keep my cool and stop myself from screaming my lungs out How was this even considered living?! I felt like a freaking labs rat. Rage threatened to rip my head apart. I could feel my claws peeking out but I decided to keep myself under control, I could not risk challenging him in a fight that I knew I wouldn’t win and to make things all the more frustrating. Aston was watching my every move, making me feel like a sl*ave.
He would not peel his eyes off me even for a second so I could do the things that I needed to do. He wouldn’t help me with the things that required stretching and standing on my toes either. He was just there resting against the counter and being a loyal spectator of my embarrassment.
I wished I could poison him, but I knew I couldn’t. I was so tempted to just do something, to just spike the food with something and watch hi f choke to death slowly while begging for me to save him. It would be so freaking satisfying to watch. Too bad I could only watch such premium entertainment in my head. I was confused as to what to even do.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I could possibly need to make a proper meal but I still had no idea what to do. Never once in my life did I ever think that I would ever have to cook. I never even bothered learning, I had not the slightest idea what I was supposed to do and I kept repeating it to the dumbas**that I was in the kitchen with that I could not do what he asked me but he seemed to be completely hell bent on ignoring everything that I had to say.
“Come on, Kira, you can do this.” Aston said, his voice dripping with condescension. “It’s just a simple meal. How hard can it be?” I was starting to think that he knew we’ll that I was kit capable of doing what he asked me to do and he was just having fun watching me struggle.
How could I be repeating the same words to him every time and he kept ignoring them like I was irrelevant and he could not hear me?
“I don’t how to cook, I have no idea what I’m supposed to do. I informed him hoping it would be the last and I would not have to repeat myself again but Aston was relentless with his ignorance.
“Stop trying to lie your way though this, Kira. You can do this so get to it an get hard as you making it out to be. What do you gain from making such ridiculous exaggerations anyway?”
it over with. I know very well that it’s not as
I glared at him, my anger boiling over. “You have no idea what you’re talking about, Aston. You’ve never cooked a day in your life. How can you expect me to do this?” it was a valid question that deserved an answer but Aston was going to avoid it and go on a power trip instead. I was sure that he was even much worse than I was,
Aston shrugged, his eyes never leaving mine. “You’re my maid, Kira. You’ll do as you’re told. Now, get back to cooking.” He ordered just like I knew he would. He would much rather chop off his own head than answer to someone else that wasn himself.
I seethed with rage, but I knew I had no choice, I tried to focus on the task at hand, but my mind was a jumble of anger and frustration. I kept picking up things that kept falling to the ground because my hands were shaking out of control. I could feel his stare boring holes through my body.
I kept mixing all the wrong ingredients in different quantities. I knew too well that evels if the food got ready, it would not be edible but I kept pushing, I kept trying to make something out of all the ingredients that I had just poured into the pot. I was actually starving and I wanted something to eat.
I would be so glad if I could get a plate of food from what I was cooking. I didn’t care about Aston. He could starve for all I cared. Aston was out of the kitchens as quietly as he came in. I didn’t even notice that he had left until I turned around to check what I was cooking..Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
Before I knew it, the food was burning, and the fire alarm went off. My situation escalated so quickly. One minute I was fighting to get all the water out of the meal and now I was struggling to get any food out of the pot.
It was not like I fell asleep, how the hell did it even happen? I felt like such as fool as I put down the food and tried to get rid of all the smoke by opening the windows but all my efforts were futile and I had the scariest moment of my life.
The kitchen was filled with smoke, and water was pouring out of the sink, flooding the floor. It was a procedure that I never got to use back when I was still Luna and now I realized that it was not fun at all. I thought about all the things that I would have to clean up but my most pressing worry was how to put off the f*** alarmn, it was loud as hell and it felt like jy eats were about to bleed.
Aston stormed into the kitchen, his face red with anger. “What have you done now, Kira? You’re useless” was the first thing he screamed as he stomped in before putting off the alarm and I was equally mad
I stood my ground, my heart racing with anger. “I told you I don’t know how to cook! This is your fault, not mine!” I reminded him and Aston sneered at me. “You’re just making excuses, Kira. You’re lazy and incompetent. That’s why you’re
my maidTM
I felt a surge of anger at his words, but I knew I had to keep my cool. “I’m not lazy or incompetent, Aston. I’m just not a cook. And I never will be, no matter how much you humiliate me
Aston snorted. “We’ll see about that. You’ll do as you’re told, or you’ll suffer the consequences.”
I knew I had to get out of there before I lost my temper completely. I stormed out of the kitchen, leaving the mess behind. But as I reached the hallway, I heard Aston’s voice behind me. “Leave it be, Kira. We’ll eat out tonight.” I wondered if I heard well so I paused and waited for him to say it again but he never came. I wondered why he would want me to follow him. I wondered what he had planned.
I turned to face him, my anger still simmering, “What about the mess? Who’s going to clean it up?”
Aston shrugged, his eyes never leaving mine. “Someone will take care of it. But you’d rather do it, wouldn’t you?” he teased but I didn’t care.
1 glared at him, my heart still racing with anger. “No, I wouldn’t. But someone has to clean up your messes, Aston. And it might as well be me.”
Aston smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. “That’s the spirit, Kira. Now, go get changed. We have a reservation at 8.” It was almost like he was preparing me to fail seeing as he already bought us a reservation.
I knew I had no choice but to comply. I hurried to get changed, taking a quick shower to wash off the sweat and anger. As I dressed, I hoped that the rest of the night would be uneventful, that nothing unexpected would happen. But with Aston, I knew that was too much to ask,
Most of the clothes that he gave me were clothes that would ruin my life and I was just waiting for the right time to sell them all off. I was nervous as hell, I didn’t know what kind of plan he had under his sleeve.
