Contract Marriage With The Disabled CEO By Woody Rain Chapter 92
Chapter 92
Chapter 92 Do You Love Kerwin?
When Emily was in the bathroom, Jeffrey was standing on the balcony, smoking a cigarette. Soon the a shtray was full of cigarette butts.
For the first time in his life, he felt the pang of regret.
He regretted breaking up with Betty without hearing her explanation two years ago. He also regretted g etting engaged to Emily and insulting Betty frequently.
It was he who drove away the woman he loved the most. Who else can he blame?
Betty now had Kerwin by her side.
Thinking of that man, he pinched his cigarette harder.
When he gave Kerwin those indecent photos of Betty, Kerwin chose to believe that she would not do su ch a thing.
Maybe Kerwin had already investigated what had happened to her, so he was so indifferent
to these indecent photos. Whatever the reason, he didn‘t hurt Betty.
Jeffrey fretted even more when he thought of Kerwin‘s care for her.
Speaking of photos, he remembered the pictures of Betty he had on his phone.
When he saw these photos, he now felt pain, so he immediately took out his phone to delete them.
When he did it, he suddenly realized something. These pictures were a little different from what he had seen on the screen at the Martin family dinner.
He didn‘t try to remember everything about Betty, but somehow everything about her seemed to be etc hed in his mind, including these indecent photos.
Most of them were the same as those on his phone, but he didn‘t have the picture of Betty lying on the pillow with her hair down.
Suddenly Jeffrey found it hard to breathe.
Why is that? Emily said the photos were copied from my phone. But why does she have one more picture on the screen than I have on my phone?
His heart tightened when he thought of a possibility. But before he could think about it, he suddenly hea rd a soft voice behind him.
“Jeffrey?”
He turned to see Emily standing at the bathroom door with her wet hair hanging down. She was looking at him carefully.
For some reason, he immediately shuddered when he saw her beautiful face, which vaguely resembled Bet ty.
“Emily…” he unconsciously stepped back. “The magazine just called and said there‘s another problem with the issue. I need to go deal with it, so I have to go to the office.”
He didn‘t even wait for Emily to reply and walked quickly to the door.
“Jeffrey…” Emily called, trying to run after
him, but he was already out of the room.
“Does Jeffrey go to see Betty in the middle of the night?” Emily stood there, lost in thought.
Thinking of Betty, her face suddenly went white as she remembered what she had heard on the phone.
The person she sent to find the old man two years ago told her that he didn‘t have a chance to assault Betty at that time, but that another mystery man took her virginity.
She was even more shocked that none of the people she sent could find out anything about the myster y man, which meant that the he was more powerful than her.
Who the hell was he?
The next morning, Betty woke up and saw his charming face. She was so close to him that it took her several seconds to realize it.
She hurriedly tried to get out of bed, but
Kerwin held her tight and wouldn‘t let her move. He seemed to feel her struggle, but he didn‘t open his eyes. “Don‘t move. It‘s only seven o‘clock. We can sleep a little longer,” whispered he.
Betty didn‘t expect Kerwin to be awake. She had to lie there, but she couldn‘t fall asleep
again.
A long time had passed. When she was about to sweat from nervousness, the alarm went off. Kerwin o pened his eyes slowly. His dark eyes fell on the woman in front of him.
“Good morning,” he spoke in a husky whisper, as if her voice had a magnetic pull that was hard to resis t.
Betty blushed. “Good morning.”
After she got up, she got Kerwin a towel and a toothbrush, and then she went to look after her mother.
Shortly after, Peter arrived with breakfast prepared for them by Lillian.
Betty looked at the breakfast on the table in surprise. “I really appreciate you making us such a good breakfast, but you don‘t have to ask them to do that,” she whispered.
“It just takes them some time to do it.” Kerwin said faintly, taking a sip of soup. “But if you‘re going to stay here, Lillian will have to come here every day to bring you breakfast.”
“You mean you‘re staying here tonight?” She asked in surprise.
“If you still live here,” Kerwin said quietly. “I‘ll have Lillian bring my pajamas. Your clothes are a little small for me.”
Betty was speechless. She was now aware of Kerwin‘s strong character. He never yelled at her or force
“I see,” said she, casting her eyes down. “I‘m going back tonight.”
A smile appeared in Kerwin‘s thin mouth.
“You can bring your mother to my house,
too.”
“Thank you, but my mother is not used to living in a strange place.”
“Then I‘ll find a caregiver for your her,” said Kerwin.
Betty knew that once he made a decision, he wouldn‘t listen to anyone else, so she just nodded.
After dinner, Kerwin drove Betty to work. There was an early meeting this morning, so she went straight
Once inside, she saw only her ex sitting there, seemingly preparing for a conference.
“Betty, didn‘t you get the email that the meeting was half an hour late?” Jeffrey asked
a little surprised to see her.
Yesterday, Kerwin‘s sudden appearance totally freaked her out, so she forgot to check her email
“I forgot it,” she replied and was about to leave.

She frowned. “Mr. Martin, What‘s the. matter?”
“There is something I want to ask you.” Jeffrey got up slowly. Instead of being mean to her before, he wa
