Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 145

Maja’s ankle bounced back fast, but lan’s palm got spiked straight through, and there was no way such

an injury would recover in a few days.

Since it was his right hand, he needed to remove the old bandage when changing the dressing lan

struggled with the scissors, only managing to snip a small opening after several tries.

At the bar that evening, lan hardly showed his hand, and even Tyler was clueless about his injury.

Maja paused, then walked over and took the scissors from him

lan was taken aback, glancing up at her before looking away

Maja didn’t look at him, just focusing on the wound

After shipping open the bandage, she meticulously unwrapped the old bandage, layer by layer.

Once the bandage was off, the stitched wound was exposed.

The wound had been stitched up before and was healing well, which made her sigh in relief. She

carefully applied some ointment and then wrapped a new bandage around it.

After finishing all this, she looked up, ready to say something, when a voice came from the door. “You

guys”

Maja furrowed her brow and turned her head, finding Tyler standing in the doorway.

Tyler looked utterly shocked, ever stepping back as if he’d walked into the wrong room.

Maja hadn’t closed the door when she came in, thinking she would be leaving quickly.

Feeling a tad awkward now, she immediately stood up.

“All done, Mr. Raymond; I’ll be on my way.”

lan didn’t say a word. It was Tyler who was chuckling as if he’d just discovered a juicy secret.

Maja knew he’d gotten the wrong idea, but she also knew that even if she didn’t explain, lan would set

things straight later.

So she just nodded politely at Tyler and picked up her thermal box to leave.

The moment the door closed, Tyler practically sprinted over.

“Oh man, I would’ve missed this whole spectacle if I hadn’t come over tonight You acted all awkward Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

when you were being kissed in the booth, but it turns out you’ve been getting cozy with her already.”

The scriptwriter Tyler always had audacious ideas and began to rag on lan.

“I told you that girl was into you, but you didn’t believe me. She comes over to dress your wound, and

you guys are both single? Did you injure your hand for her? lan, you’re quite something, finally shaking

off that person from the Shepard family, ready to find your next love?”

Lan was getting fed up with Tyler’s mouth running a mile a minute…

*Shut up.”

Tyler chuckled lightly and sat down.

“So, what’s your plan? Just let her get close to you like that? I bet she’s had her sights set on you for a

while, Why else would she take on your project? Has she been crushing on you all along?” “I didn’t

know her before.”

“But that doesn’t mean she couldn’t know you. Maybe she spotted you at a party once, and you just

stuck in her mind.”

Tyler could really talk. For a split second, lan actually believed him.

But when he remembered that Maja was married, he chose not to respond and changed the subject.

“What are you doing here?”

Tyler lounged back in his chair, looking all sharp and handsome. He put a folder on the table.

“You forgot your files; what else could I do?”

After saying this, he was about to leave. Suddenly, he remembered something and chuckled, “You

spent the night with that designer. If she’s really married, didn’t her husband give you any trouble? It’s

your first time doing something like this; you must’ve been pretty nervous, right?”

“Beat it.”

Seeing his reaction, Tyler knew with certainty that he must’ve been on pins and needles that night. Yet,

Maja’s husband never gave him any trouble. Was she really married?

This was where lan was puzzled too. But later events proved that Maja was indeed married, only that

her husband didn’t seem to care too much about her. He didn’t care about others‘ marital status and

turned on his computer to get back to work. Suddenly, he heard a commotion coming from the

corridor.
