Devoted Love, Mr. Hayes’ Darling Wife

Chapter 1059: Boyfriend gets angry

It will soon be Christmas Eve.

Micaela packed her bags and prepared to return to L-town to spend New Year’s Eve with Malia Monica. Upon arriving at her grandmother’s house, Malia Monica mentioned Nico and Micaela remembered that she had forgotten to say hello to Nico.

At the end of the year, Nico was very busy these days and the two of them didn’t see each other much, so Micaela forgot to tell him she was back in town.

I was about to tell Nico when Nico, from Facebook, sent it to me.

“Where have you been, why aren’t you home?”

Micaela: “I went back to L-Town for New Year’s Eve.”

“Why didn’t you tell me when you were coming back?”

Micaela was going to be back on the 8th, but seeing Nico getting a little nervous, she said, “Come back on the 6th. ”

Nico was sitting on the couch at home in the blue sky, a little upset, I thought we would spend Christmas Eve together this year, but she was good, she got away first.

Earlier I had thought of bringing Savanna Amengual to spend Christmas with her and her grandmother, after spending Christmas dinner with the old man at the old house.

Here, after Micaela replied to Nico’s message, ten minutes passed and Nico did not send her another message.

Malia Monica saw that she kept looking at her phone and asked, “Message with Nico?”.

“He’s not answering me, he’s probably mad.”

Malia Monica smiled and said, “Then you should be back in town soon after New Year’s, there’s nothing to do with me.”

“I have rarely spent time with you since I was out filming before, and it’s rare that I can spend a few more days with you during the New Year, my boyfriend can spend time with you whenever he wants.”

Malia Monica is getting older and Micaela is terrified that something will happen to her child that she wants to raise but not her parents.

It was almost Christmas Eve and Nico had stopped sending her a single message as if he was obsessed with her.

And very angry.

As Christmas Eve morning arrived, Micaela got up early to help Malia Monica with the laundry and texted Nico: “Mr. Nico, Merry Christmas Eve ~”

On Christmas Eve, Nico slept until noon and sat at the table to eat, when he opened his phone he saw this wish and growled, “And you know send me a separate wish.”

Savanna Amengual, peering across the table at her brother’s cold nose and eyes, asked curiously, “Brother, did you have a fight with Miss Micaela?”

“Boy, do you expect me to fight with her all day?”

Savanna Amengual spat, “You’re so moody and angry all the time, isn’t it usual for you to fight with your girlfriend?”

Nico looked at her coldly, “Do I have a bad temper?”.

“Just … a little … bad.”

“Okay, don’t ask me for living expenses at the beginning of the school year, I can see you are very capable, work hard and study hard.”

With that, Nico pushed the dinner plate away and turned up the phone.

Savanna Amengual poked the eggs on her plate: “Stingy, stingy, stingy! Not just stingy, but angry.”

Shortly after two o’clock in the afternoon, the servants at the Amengual Group’s former home began working on the red trimmings for the villa’s windows, and Savanna Amengual made a mess of the dough.

The first floor bustled with activity.

Nico lay back on the bed, his long legs folded, and settled back to Micaela Facebook casually.

An unknown phone number suddenly rang out over the phone.

Nico thought it was an annoying call and just cut it off, and the chain of calls came again.

Nico answered, “Hello?”

A soft middle-aged female voice came on the phone, “Nico, it’s me, Mom.”

Nico grabbed the phone and was silent for a long time, not answering.

On the other end of the phone, Carlita Tardio spoke, “Merry Christmas Eve, Nico. ”

Nico’s face was condensed, his lips tense and he didn’t say a word.

Carlita Tardio took a deep breath, knowing Nico didn’t want to talk to her, but continued anyway, “Nico, Mom… she’s back in the country and would like to meet you now, look, when do we make an appointment to meet? And Savanna, can you bring her over to meet me? I haven’t seen her since I was growing up.”

Nico scoffed, did he have the nerve to mention meeting Savanna Amengual?

And isn’t he afraid Savanna Amengual will find out about his shit?

Carlita Tardio sympathizes: “Oh, I wouldn’t say I’m her mother, I just wanted to see her from afar, Nico…. I really… I’d like to meet you brothers. ”

Nico hooked his thin lips and sneered, “If I had known, I wouldn’t have had to in the first place, so there’s no need to meet, and don’t introduce yourself in front of Savanna, or I won’t be polite.”

“Nico…”

“By the way, stop introducing yourself as a mother, you stopped being one to Savanna and me a long time ago, when dad died.”

Nico said the cruelest words word for word, his face cold as ice and his eyes even more dead.

With those words, Nico didn’t give Carlita Tardio another chance to speak and simply hung up the phone.

Shortly after hanging up the phone, Savanna Amengual burst in with a cupcake, “Brother! Merry Christmas Eve.”

Nico was stunned and his face darkened, “Don’t you know how to knock?”.

“I haven’t knocked before, why are you so angry?”

He’s so mean, his face is so stinky, who made him angry again?

“Get out.”

Savanna Amengual stomped her foot, angrily, “I won’t, I won’t! Not until you promise to pay me a living wage.”

Savanna Amengual’s shrill voice became increasingly annoying to Nico’s ears, who stood up and grabbed Savanna Amengual by the back of the neck and threw her out like a chicken, then closed the door behind him.

Savanna Amengual stood in the doorway as the groundhog screamed, “Aah!!!!! Pissed!!!”

Inside the door, Nico’s face was frozen and ice formed under his eyes.

In the evening, Nico and Savanna Amengual accompanied Grandpa Valentinzi to New Year’s Eve dinner.

Grandfather Valentinzi sub handed Savanna Amengual a large, extraordinarily thick gift package, and Savanna Amengual’s eyes lit up as she received it, thanking her grandfather over and over, “Grandfather, this gift is for me, isn’t it?”

“Of course it’s for you, take it for yourself and buy whatever you want.”

Savanna Amengual looked at Nico out of the corner of her eye, “Then you can’t let my brother confiscate this great gift of mine.”

Grandpa Valentinko laughed out loud, stroked Savanna Amengual’s little head and said, “If your brother dares to confiscate your gift, you tell Grandpa and he’ll teach him a lesson.”

Savanna Amengual smiled sweetly, “Thank you Grandpa!”

After lunch, Nico and Savanna Amengual accompanied the old man to watch the party again.

Nico was bored looking at his cell phone when he got another text message from an unknown number, Carlita Tardio.

“Nico, I’m sorry for what happened, I’m sorry for your father, I’m sorry for the Amengual Group, I’m sorry for you and Savanna, but I can’t control my feelings, Nico, I’m really sorry, I’m not asking you to forgive me, but at least, let me see you and Savanna, I beg you, ok? ”

Nico looked at the text message and was a little lost in thought. Savanna Amengual leaned over to look at the screen of her phone and Nico locked her phone in an instant.

Savanna Amengual rolled her eyes, “Petty, I’m not going to look at your messages.”

Nico grabbed his phone, reached for his car keys and said, “I’m going out to get something, you stay with Grandpa and watch TV, don’t run off and fool around.”

Savanna Amengual growled, “Why is it that you can go out and I can’t go out and have fun?”

“By virtue of the fact that I’m an adult.”

“…” Pissed off pissed off!

Savanna Amengual extended her small hand towards him, “Brother, are you forgetting something?”.

Savanna Amengual held out her hand for a Christmas Eve present.

Nico was not prepared for this and patted her hand directly with his big hand, before turning and leaving the villa.

Savanna Amengual bared her teeth in the back, “Nico! You are too much!”

It was after eleven o’clock at night and the sound of firecrackers and fireworks were ringing through the city and Micaela was lying in bed unable to sleep.

After flipping through her phone, Nico still hadn’t returned her messages.

Micaela sent another Facebook message, “Really mad?”

The other party still didn’t respond.

Micaela thought nothing of it, figuring she would wait until her return on the sixth day of the new year to cajole this devious, arrogant man.

I put the phone down and was about to go back to sleep when the window at the head of the bed rattled.

“Knock, knock, knock.”Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

It sounded like someone was smashing the windows of her house with a small rock.

Startled, Micaela got out of bed and looked out the window in her pajamas to see, not far away, a familiar figure of a long jade figure standing.

Micaela stood motionless for a long time, as if in a dream, and finally, looking out the window at him, she sketched a smile as bright as could be.
