Chapter 1121: Ms. Micaela (1)
Micaela’s firm tone made Dario pinch his forehead and said, “But now Nico is hiding, he clearly doesn’t want to see you. If he really wanted to take responsibility for you, he wouldn’t hide in a place where he can’t be found, and Micaela, even though I haven’t had a deep relationship with Nico, he used you as a bargaining chip in front of so many people in the casino. Even as a friend, I don’t want you to fall into the prodigal son trap.”
“At the time I had a misunderstanding with him, I can’t put it into three words. I don’t need him to take responsibility for me, I am an adult, I am responsible for my feelings for him, I will deal with them myself. As for him hiding, it’s not that he doesn’t want to see me, it’s that he wants an answer from me, a clear answer. Dario, thank you for reminding me of him as a friend, but I am an adult and I will take responsibility for the feelings I choose to have.”
Dario lost his smile as he heard Micaela’s firm tone, “Micaela, so now I’ve really lost your infatuation for good, have I?”.
Proud as Dario was, he didn’t believe that Micaela had really pushed him away from her heart, and that completely vacant position was given to another man.
Micaela says, “You’ll meet a lot of people in your life, and when you’re young and ignorant and you meet someone amazing, you might think you like them. Dario, I had a crush on you, but only a crush. As for the years of obsession, it was probably because people are stingy, and when they can’t have something, they always think I’m not good enough for them to give up on me. It wasn’t an obsession with you, it was an obsession with not letting go. But then you came home and appeared before me, and I also realized that the heartbeat I had then was nothing but pity, and that I was only sorry that my youthful heartbeat didn’t bear fruit.”
“But I have never been more than a young heart to you. For the last two years, I’ve been afraid to push you, that if I pushed you, you would turn away from me, so I’ve resisted approaching you like any other friend, trying to make you feel at ease. I’ve always been the same to you, Micaela, and to me, my youthful heart is a lifelong passion. can we really … not do it all over again?”
Micaela pursed her red lips and after a moment of silence, finally said, “Once you have wronged me, now we are clear.”
With those words, Micaela hung up the phone.
Two hours later, the cab stops in front of a private house located on a small hillside.
Micaela gets out of the cab with her suitcase on her back and approaches.
The door to the villa was unlocked and left open. Micaela knocked symbolically on the door a few times, dragging her luggage, but no one answered inside the villa and Micaela entered without permission.
The villa is large, with a huge vineyard as far as the eye can see, and behind the villa is a blue sea with unobstructed views of the sea.
In the front yard, in addition to the vine veranda, there is a large pool with two Japanese vine tables and chairs and a glass of half-drunk champagne on the table.
Nico should have been sitting here in the sun not too long ago.
Micaela bursts into the villa, open to the public and decorated in rustic American style, with sunlight streaming into every corner of the house, clean and bright, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere, and views of the sea and nature from everywhere outside.
For the size of the villa and the fact that it is on a tourist island like this, where every inch of land is gold, it is no exaggeration to say that it is a hundred million dollar mansion.
This house, make no mistake, must be Nico’s private residence.
A pile of surfing equipment is haphazardly lying in the back corner of the villa.
Micaela has always known that Nico is a veteran of thrill-seeking activities, diving, surfing, bungee jumping, racing … and he is a master of these extremely dangerous sports.
Nico is not in this villa, he must be surfing on the beach.
Micaela left her luggage and went to the beach in search of someone.
Crowd of three or two people on the beach, not exactly sparse, but not a big crowd either.
By the beach, there are a few blond-haired, blue-eyed foreigners sitting in beach chairs drinking juice and basking in the year-round beauty, talking and laughing two by two.
Micaela was standing on the beach, looking out to sea. There were a few surfers, but the distance was too great for Micaela to see if Nico was in the sea without binoculars.
Micaela put her open hands to her lips and shouted out to sea, “Nico! Nico!”
Nico, who was surfing in the sea, thought he was hallucinating when he heard someone calling out to him from the beach and, with a frown and narrowed eyes, looked down the beach and saw a familiar figure in the sand.
Shit, he’s evil.
Nico really hadn’t expected Micaela to come to him so quickly.
A huge wave hit and as Nico defected, the surfboard suddenly tipped and overturned, drowning Nico under the wave.
Micaela was taken by surprise and ran down from the beach lookout, “Nico!”.
Micaela screamed for help and pulled a lifeguard next to the beach and said, “I saw someone swept away by the waves a moment ago, can you take the yacht to rescue him?”.
The lifeguard looked out to sea, where the wave-swept surfer was clinging to his surfboard before going to jump into the sea, and smiled in relief, “He’s safe, Miss, he’s very good, I’ve seen him coming almost every day lately, a professional surfer.”
Micaela watched dumbfounded as the man jumped back into the waves, and her heart eventually dropped as Micaela waved towards the sea.
She was pretty sure Nico had seen her.
Ten minutes later, Nico came ashore with his surfboard in his arms, his short, wet black hair disheveled with reluctance, his surfer’s suit framing the man’s lean, straight body and smooth muscles, his cool white skin sunburned from all the surfing he’d done, but that didn’t detract from the man’s attractiveness or his air of uninhibited style.
He was standing a short distance away, holding his surfboard, standing long and panting against the sun, a lazy smile on his forehead, looking up at her and saying, “You’ve opened your eyes to the sky, you found me so fast. I thought it would take a month, if anything.”
Micaela was on the verge of tears, but now her eyes lifted and smiled at the lazy gaze of her hangdog, and she rushed over to Nico, treading sand even under his feet, and hugged him.
I loved it.
How can someone look so attractive when they’re hunched over?
It’s impossible not to be impressed by this funny, easygoing, intelligent, uninhibited and uninhibited man.
The sea breeze whipped Micaela’s long hair and lifted the hem of her skirt.
Micaela cried and laughed, clinging to his neck, “Nico, I’ve finally found you.”NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Micaela tilted her face up and kissed him eagerly on his thin lips.
Nico was thrown off by the sudden kiss and stumbled twice on the beach, but was quick to let go of the surfboard in his hand and grab the back of Micaela’s neck to deepen the kiss.
A passionate kiss, as if no one was watching.
The warm sun, the soothing sea breeze and the soft golden sandy beaches are a perfect accompaniment.
The one person in front of me is a wonder.
Micaela grabbed his face, looked into his deep, shining dark eyes and said firmly, “Nico, I love you. That’s the only answer. It’s not about pity or sympathy. We run both ways, we always have.”
Nico raised his hand to his face and smiled. I guess Matthew was right about that brainless guy. I should have spurred you on a long time ago if I’d known.”
“Are you happy because you’re avoiding me and you’ve goaded me into throwing the whole internet to go after you?”
Nico picked up his surfboard with one hand and put his arm around Micaela as he walked from the beach toward the villa, a seductive, sultry smile on his lips, “That makes me feel good, Ms. Micaela. ”
Nico took her hand and gave her an affectionate kiss on the back of it.
