Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny

Chapter 308

Tyrone wore a stone-cold expression, guarding his gaze against Jonathan as if he were a thief.

Before Jonathan could utter a word, Tyrone spoke up, "Uncle, at your age, you should know better than to overdo it. If you get drunk again tonight, you won't be able to get up in the morning. At this age, we need to accept our limits."

Such a statement would irritate anyone, but Jonathan's smile remained gentle, showing no sign of getting angry. He replied, "Quinn's treating us, so of course I'm going. Besides, it's been ages since I caught up with Snow. Today's a good day to catch up.”

Tyrone snorted, "Catching up? Catching up with a rival in love sure is interesting."

Quintessa couldn't care less about what the three of them thought, waving her hand dismissively, "The more, the merrier. Let's all go, Manny, lead the way."

Her tone left Tyrone and Snow bickering, but perhaps letting the three of them interact was better. A triangle is always more stable than a duo; this way, there might be a chance for some balance. "Let's get in the car."

"Take mine."

Tyrone and Snow said at the same time, then glared coldly at each other. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Jonathan offered with a light smile, "If you don't mind, how about my car?"

Tyrone grabbed Quintessa's arm, "Uncle, you'd save your teeth for skewers, lest you struggle to chew anything harder later."

If it came down to resources, Tyrone had more than the other two, but what really set him apart from Jonathan and Snow was his shamelessness, and his ability to take action.

Without giving Quintessa a chance to respond, Tyrone pushed her into the front seat of his electric scooter, stretched his legs, twisted the throttle, and zipped off. The vehicle was far more agile than Snow's luxury car.

Snow's gaze darkened for a moment before he turned to Jonathan, "Let's go together."

"Sure!"

Quintessa shifted uncomfortably in the front seat and Tyrone, with one hand on the handlebar and the other. around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder, teased, "Sit tight, don't squirm. It's barely dark and you're already seducing me. Could you at least wait until we're done eating skewers?"

Quintessa elbowed Tyrone, who coughed, "I'm driving here. What if something happens? Reckless driving, you know. Don't move around."

Quintessa asked, "Why are you on an electric scooter today? Where's your luxury car?"

Tyrone scoffed, "What's the point of

a luxury car? You may not be tired of sitting in it, but I'm tired of driving it. This is much better. I can hold you while we ride. Snow and his Ferrari are just for showing off."

On a whim, after seeing couples on electric scooters, where the one in the back could wrap their arms around the driver, Tyrone thought it was a great idea and bought one on the spot. Holding her like this was far more preferable than driving a car.

Tyrone's hands stealthily caressed Quintessa's waist, "Just focus on eating later, and leave the rest to me. If you dare to stop me, you'll see."

Quintessa rolled her eyes, "Even if I drink myself to death, it's none of your concern."

Tyrone planted a kiss on her cheek, "Such a good girl!"

Quintessa twisted his arm, "Aren't you afraid Snow and your dear uncle will gang up on you?"

Tyrone hugged Quintessa tighter and kissed her again, "Impressive, worried about me now. Relax, those two, ha, let me tell you, even with ten more Jonathans and Snows, they wouldn't stand a chance against me. Just you watch."

"Who's worried about you? Have some shame!"

Tyrone responded disdainfully, "What's the point of having shame? If I did, you might be sitting in someone else's car right now."
