Fell Into His Love Trap (Skylar and Tobias)

Chapter 692

Chapter 692

Chapter 692 Everyone Is Waiting For Her

While both of them were talking, they heard the neighboring room door open and close.

Lying in bed, Skylar fiddled with her phone. Unfortunately, Tobias didn't send her any message, not

even one to ask if she had reached safely.

Amidst the darkness of the room, the light from the phone screen was especially jarring, causing Skylar

to rub her eyes as she mumbled to herself.

Lying on the other bed, Mackayla tossed and turned, unable to sleep. She asked Skylar, “Why were

you able to sign a contract with Kate right away? Is your family rich?”

Skylar pursed her lips. “Do I look like someone rich? To be honest, this is my first time abroad. Before I

started acting, I had never even been on a plane before.”

Mackayla gave Skylar an envious look. “In that case, you should consider yourself lucky. My family

invested all their money in me so that I could become a trainee. Even though I have started work, the

company's contract keeps me on a tight leash. Hence, I've not been able to make much money up till

now.”

Skylar had heard that Royal Entertainment's contracts were very demanding and would always strike a

hard bargain with their stars. In spite of that, there was little anyone could do since it was a free market

and all.

Right after Mackayla spoke, she began to snore. Her snore was so loud that it reverberated in Skylar's

ear, catching her by surprise.

After not receiving any messages from Tobias, Skylar sent him a dog emoticon.

Tobias: ?

Skylar: I thought you have slept. Anyway, I've arrived in Beskary.

Tobias: I just woke up.

Skylar: It's so late. Aren't you worried about not being able to sleep at night?

Tobias: You silly girl, there's a time difference of seven hours between Chanaea and Baykeep. I just got

out of bed.

Skylar clenched her phone when she realized the rookie mistake she had made. In fact, she was Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

embarrassed by what she said.

Initially, Skylar wanted to inform Tobias that his cousin, Kai, was also here. However, she decided

against it, for Tobias was never interested in watching her shows.

Since he had never watched the dramas she had acted in before, she figured it was even more unlikely

he would watch reality shows. As long as she didn't say a thing, he would never know.

Skylar: I miss you. Good night.

She didn't wait for Tobias to reply that he missed her too because it was something that he would never

say.

As Mackayla's snore grew increasingly loud, Skylar covered her head with her pillow. Even though she

couldn't sleep, she didn't want to wake the former either.

The next morning, the hotel had breakfast prepared. While everyone else had awoken, only Skylar was

still sleeping in her room.

When Kai didn't see Skylar around, he asked Mackayla, “Where's Skylar? Why hasn't she come down

for breakfast? Does she know what time it is?”

Mackayla replied, “She's still sleeping, probably due to jet lag.”

When Saorise overheard their conversation, she broke into a considerate smile. “Since this is her first

time overseas, she must be having trouble adapting to the time difference. Since we're not in a hurry to

depart, why don't we let her sleep a while more? Besides, we don't have a packed itinerary today.”

At that moment, Kai noticed that the hotel's breakfast had almost been finished. All that was left was

two slices of bread.

When Mavis attempted to take them, Kai pulled the plate toward himself. “Skylar hasn't eaten yet. Can

you leave some for her?”

Mavis frowned in displeasure. “She's sleeping in, and yet, expects all of us to wait for her and save her

breakfast? Why is she the only one suffering from jet lag and not anyone else?”

Kai had a terrible first impression of Mavis. He thought the woman was both melodramatic and

extremely annoying. Why does she have such a foul mouth? No wonder her tycoon husband went

bankrupt after she married him.

It wasn't until Skylar woke up that she realized she was late. By then, the camera's red light was on,

and it was focusing on her.

After yawning in front of it, she gave her body a stretch. Luckily, it was hard for her short hair to turn

into a mess. After tousling it casually, she headed straight for the bathroom, as there was no time for

makeup.

By the time she came out of her room, everyone was sitting at the long table with assorted

expressions, waiting for her.
