Chapter 104
Chapter 104
Estelle chuckled, “The artist’s name is pretty interesting.”
Someone nearby glanced at Albert and laughed, “The person who painted this is still a student, but
extremely talented. I was stunned when I first saw the painting. I didn’t have that kind of talent in my
twenties.”
Estelle smiled and said casually, “The painter has a unique style, with a special perspective and solid
skills. It’s a good piece.”
Everyone nodded in agreement, and Albert had a deep smile with a hint of pride.
“But,” Estelle suddenly changed her tone and shook her head, “it lacks some refinement, especially
when it’s next to Mr. Mullins‘ artwork. The difference between the two is not small, to be honest, this
painting shouldn’t even be in the exhibition.”
Everyone was taken aback. Some agreed quietly, some thought Estelle was too blunt, and others
sneaked a peek at Albert’s expression. Someone in the crowd said, “Isn’t this Mr. Mullins‘ student’s
painting?”
Old Mr. Quintin was surprised and looked at Albert, “Is this true?”
Albert’s expression was complicated, but he quickly responded, “Yes, I do have a student named
Carmella who is very talented in painting, and this is her work.”
Estelle smiled faintly, “Ah, I apologize!”
Albert reassured her, “No, it’s true that Carmella has some deficiencies.”
Old Mr. Quintin asked Jason, “What do you think?”
Jason glanced at Estelle and nodded slightly, “I think my junior sister is right.”
The organizer looked at Albert with difficulty, but Albert didn’t hesitate, “Let’s take this painting down.”
Without further discussion, the organizer called for staff to remove Carmella’s painting.
After it was removed, everyone noticed that the original spot was just right to fit a painting. It was only
by moving Albert’s painting to the side that a space had been made open.
Now, with Albert’s painting back in its original spot, you couldn’t tell that anything was missing.
Maybe it was because of Albert’s influence that Carmella’s painting had been displayed at the
exhibition in the first place.
With various thoughts in mind, everyone followed Old Mr. Quintin and continued walking, quickly
forgetting about this minor incident.
When they returned, it was almost dark. Old Mr. Quintin invited Estelle for dinner before letting Jason
take her home.
Jason drove her back to the Royal Mansion, and on the way, he asked, “So that Carmella is the kid
who was mixed up and exchanged with you?”
Estelle answered indifferently, “Yes, that’s her.”
Jason inquired, “Did you do it on purpose?”
Estelle laughed, “Yes!”
She could’ve listen to her grandfather’s advice and be gentle with people, but she couldn’t tolerate
being provoked repeatedly. She didn’t have much patience.
Jason knew Estelle too well. It must have been that Carmella girl who had irritated her, making Estelle
dislike her.
He said blandly, “indeed, it’s mediocre.”
Estelle raised an eyebrow. She didn’t like Carmella, but her review of the painting wasn’t intentionally
derogatory. The actual skills were impressive, but the artistic conception was far inferior. If it hadn’t
been for Albert, the painting wouldn’t have made it into the exhibition. As the car approached the Royal
Mansion, Jason asked, “So you’re living alone in a rented room?”
“Yes!”
“Which building?” This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
Estelle mentioned the building and floor number, which was very close to the room gave to her by
Jason.
When they arrived at the Royal Mansion, Jason accompanied her in and walked to the building
entrance. Looking up, he suddenly asked again, “Are you sure you’re living alone?”
Estelle was about to nad when she looked up and froze. The lights in her room were on
Was it Jonathan? Did he come back so early?
Estelle looked into Jason’s doubtful eyes and pretended to be calm, “This is my uncle’s place. He
comes over occasionally to check up.”
Jason’s cold eyes were calm, and after a while, he finally said, “Which uncle?”
Estelle,
