Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 131

Chapter 131

The semi–circular pond was crystal clear, with the lights‘ reflection shimmering on the surface, casting

colorful ripples. Even the swans here looked more at ease and classy than the ones in the park.

She leaned back on the chair, feeling drowsy when she suddenly heard footsteps approaching.

She opened her eyes and saw a man under the streetlight, and for a moment, she thought she was This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.

dreaming.

Where was she, and why was Jonathan here?

The man stopped a few inches away, looking down at her condescendingly. His usually stern face held

a hint of ridicule and distance, making Estelle feel somewhat unfamiliar. It was like when she first met

him.

With thin lips as red as wine, Jonathan spoke softly, “Are you happy or disappointed to see me here?”

Estelle didn’t understand, “What?”

Jonathan sneered, “Sylvia Jarvis. Don’t tell me you don’t know her. What’s the meaning of sending her

to test me?”

Estelle was taken aback for a moment but quickly understood–it was Magdalen.

Had Magdalen brought Sylvia here to test Jonathan today, or had it been a spur–of–the–moment

decision?

Such a headache!

Estelle stood up, frowning, unsure how to explain the situation to Jonathan. She couldn’t blame

everything on Magdalen.

Seeing her silence, his gaze grew colder, “What’s the purpose of doing this? Do you want to see if I’d

sleep with any girl, or have you developed feelings for me and want to investigate my attitude towards

other women?”

Estelle’s face turned pale. She stared at his indifferent eyes and said, “I’m sorry.”

She had angered this proud man!

Although it wasn’t her, Magdalen had done it on her behalf in a way, so she owed him an apology.

Jonathan stared at her intently and slowly asked, “You still haven’t answered my question. What do you

want to test, have you developed feelings for me?”

“No,” Estelle immediately replied, lowering her gaze, her voice calm, “You haven’t been around for

days, and I wanted to see if our agreement had come to an end.”

Jonathan’s eyes seemed darker now. He looked at her with a deep, intense gaze for a while before

taking a step forward, reaching out to hold her chin, forcing her to look up, “And what is our

agreement?”

Estelle looked into his deep eyes, and said, “No emotional involvement, no money talk, mutual respect,

and trust.”

“Have you respected and trusted me?” He asked.

Estelle bit her lip, “I won’t do things like this anymore.”

“I always thought you were a smart girl, don’t do such foolish things!” He said mockingly, releasing her,

and without another glance, he walked away.

Estelle watched his indifferent figure, feeling a mix of regret and disappointment.

Ever since that day at Midnight Bar, when Hattie got beaten up by Lina, their relationship seemed to

have changed. After that night, he didn’t come back to the Royal Mansion.

Today, with his cold and angry attitude, was their relationship, which lingered between lovers and

friends, coming to an end?

Would she have to move out of the Royal Mansion?

She was about to lose her home worth five thousand in rent!

Or more worryingly, had she angered him so much that she would have no chance of buying Villa del

Sol from him in the future? Magdalen soon found her, astonished, “I saw Jonathan leave just now, what

did he say to you?”
