Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 134

Chapter 134

“Don’t worry, I won’t screw you over this time!” Manley laughed. “I’m pursuing a girl, but she doesn’t like

me and has rejected me many times. Tomorrow’s her birthday, and I booked a private room at Midnight

Bar to celebrate for her. Can you help me deliver a cake to her?”

“Why don’t you deliver it yourself?” Estelle asked, puzzled.

“If I give her the cake, she won’t eat it!” Manley shrugged helplessly. “I’m such a great guy, but none of

you can see it. It’s really sad!” Noticing Estelle’s lack of response, Manley elaborated further. “Look, all

you have to do is deliver the cake and then leave. Nobody will insist on you staying for drinks or food.

And even if they do, you can simply ignore them. Midnight Bar isn’t under my control, so nobody will

bother you there.”

Estelle thought this was something she could help with, and it would be a good opportunity to repay

Manley’s favor. “Alright, I’ll help you deliver the cake.”

“Give me your phone number, and I’ll have someone pick you up tomorrow. I’ll also arrange for

someone to order the cake – you just need to deliver it,” Manley said.

Estelle gave him her number and inquired, “Is there anything noteworthy about the cake you’re sending

her?”

She’d never seen it before but had heard of people proposing by hiding a ring inside a cake.

“Nothing special, just an ordinary cake. Why?” Manley asked.

Estelle replied, “If there’s nothing special about it, I can help you order the cake, and you don’t need to

pick me up. I can go there myself.”

Manley chuckled, “Aren’t you afraid my people will do something to you on the way?”

“No, I just want to help you buy a cake and repay your kindness,” Estelle definitely wouldn’t admit that

she was always on guard against him.

A glint appeared in Manley’s eyes, and he smiled. “Alright, that works too, although it’ll cost you a bit.”

“That’s fine. It’s the least I can do,” Estelle said politely. “What should be written on the cake?”

Manley’s captivating eyes, reminiscent of peach blossoms, beamed with a smile as he leisurely

responded, “Simply write ‘I love you‘. No other words are necessary. I will send you the private room

number on your phone tomorrow.”

“Okay!”

With their agreement firmly established, Manley went off to locate his friends, while Estelle patiently

awaited Magdalen’s arrival on the

sofa.

After Magdalen finished, she gave Estelle a ride back to the Royal Mansion and asked her what

Manley had discussed with her for so long.

Estelle told her about Manley’s request.

Magdalen contemplated, “It appears that Manley is pursuing a girl associated with Art Studios in J City.

She’s studying acting and has already gained some fame within that circle. I suppose she’s stringing

him along.”

Estelle, unconcerned about Manley’s pursuits, casually remarked, “I owe him a favor for what

happened with Lucille, so assisting him once isn’t a big deal.”

“Do you want me to go with you?” Magdalen asked.

“No need, it’s just a cake delivery. Midnight Bar is not far from the Royal Mansion, so I can just head

home after.”

“Alright then.”

The next day, Estelle went out in the morning to visit the dessert shop and find Emily while also

dropping by to see Wilma, Mr. Wagner, and Max.

It had been a long time since she’d been back, but Max showed no signs of unfamiliarity and happily

cuddled with her just like before.

Wilma asked, “Madam, when are you coming back?”

Estelle’s smile held a hint of melancholy as she softly uttered, “My engagement with Jonathan has

already come to an end.” Wilma’s expression turned sorrowful, regretting that Jonathan and Estelle

couldn’t find their way to each other. Her eyes filled with affectionate warmth as she spoke, Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.

“Regardless of the circumstances, you will always be my lady.”

Estelle’s gaze remained serene as she replied, “Thank you.”

At the dessert shop, Emily gave her many of the store’s new desserts and chatted with her for quite a

while.

“The dessert shop is going to cut staff, so I might need to find another job. This way, I can be closer to

University of J City and hang out

with you more often,” Emily said with a playful smile.

Savoring a mouthful of pudding, Estelle nodded in agreement, “Sounds delicious!”
