After finishing their meal and returning to the villa, Jonathan said. “Schilder is arriving earlier than expe
cted. He’ll be here this afternoon, so I won’t be able to accompany you home. I’ll have
Millard drive you back.”
Estelle looked
disappointed “That’s alright. I called my grandpa this moming and he’s out in the countryside, not
in C City. So I don’t need to go back either.” Jonathan raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Is it far? If you
want to go, I can have Millard drive you”
“It’s quite far I told my grandpa I would visit him again when summer vacation is almost over”

Jonathan hugged her waist, picked her up, and placed her on a table. “So there’s no surprise
Estelle shook her head. “I really like it here. Let’s just treat it like a vacation.”
“I’ll try to find time in the afternoon to go out with you! Jonathan caressed her cheek tenderly.
“You go and do your thing Winnie just texted me, and we two are
fine going out together.” Estelle raised her head and kissed the man’s chin. “Don’t worry
about me.” “What a good girl!” Jonathan smiled and pinched her chin before giving her a kiss.
After a deep kiss, a servant knocked on the door and said, “Sir, Mr.
Anderson and Miss Winnie have arrived.”
Estelle jumped off the table and said, “go ahead and discuss work with Mr. Anderson. I’m leaving!”
“Wait!” Jonathan went to the wardrobe, quickly got a hat and sunscreen, gently applied the sunscreen t
o her face and neck, put the hat on her, and then said, “The sun is strong today,
I don’t want my baby to get sunburned.”
Estelle smiled, nodded, tiptoed up and kissed the man’s jaw again before turning and walking away.
The sunlight shone on her fair side profile, making her cars look a little red.
Winnie and Baldrick were in the downstairs living room. When they saw Estelle coming down, Winnie g
ot up and greeted her with a smile. Baldrick followed, laughing, “looks like Ms. Macclain is ready, pleas
e take good care of her, Winnie.”
Winnie turned back coquettishly. “Don’t worry, I promise I’ll show Ms. Macclain a good time.”
Baldock looked at Estelle, smiling warmly. “You might be stealing Mr. Lamont’s thunder with those word
s.”
Jonathan slowly descended the stairs, smiling. “Not at all, thank you for taking her out, Winnie!”
“You’re welcome. Go ahead and have your meeting, we’ll go first!” Winnie laughed.
Estelle nodded to Jonathan and left with Winnie.
Having been there for a day already, Winnie was more familiar with the place than Estelle. Afraid that E
stelle would feel sleepy at noon, Winnie took her to soak in the hot springs first.
After resting for an hour, the two went horse riding and then had afternoon tea at a hotel by the lake.
Not only was Winnie gentle towards men, she was also very considerate towards
Estelle, treating her like a little sister.
Most of the time when they were together, it was Winnie leading the conversation. She had been to ma
ny places and read many books. She was eloquent, soft–spoken, and clearly a well–educated woman.
In the evening. Schilder arrived at the mansion with his wife.
Standing next to Jonathan, Estelle was surprised to see Schilder’s wife. She was originally from C Cou
ntry, and her hometown was C City, according to Schilder’s introduction.
Suddenly, Estelle understood why the business negotiation was set in C City.
Mrs. Macy was in her
late thirties, her brown hair was tied behind her head, wearing a light blue suit, and matching ruby jewel
ry decorated her neck and ears. She wore a huge diamond on her hand and leaned close to Schilder.
Schilder seemed to be in his forties, a purebred white man with golden hair shining in the sunset, lookin
g well–groomed. Upon seeing Estelle and Winnie, his blue eyes revealed a look of admiration.
Winnie stepped forward with an exquisite box in her hand and said gently with a smile, “Welcome back
to your hometown, Mrs. Macy”
She had changed into another outfit and looked even more attractive, she was such a charming lady
