Chapter 188

Chapter 188

Winnie took out a pair of dice cups and a notebook. “Let’s play a game of dice. Each number we roll co

rresponds to a punishment written in the notebook. Fun, right?”

Mrs. Macy nodded and said, “This sounds entertaining.”

Estelle had no objections, of course.

The servant quickly prepared the labels “police,” “thief, and a blank one as Winnie instructed. The three

of them then drew their lots.

Estelle was the last to draw and got the blank one, which meant she wouldn’t be punished. So, she cal Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Mrs. Macy got the “police” one, and she tried to guess who the thief” was based on Estelle and Winnie’

s expressions.

Estelle was calm, and Winnie pretended well, even winking at Estelle as if she was just an onlooker.

However, it was this wink that gave away the fact that Winnie was the “thief“.

Winnie revealed her label and said incredulously, “How did you guess me, Mrs. Macy? What gave me a

way?”

Mrs. Macy laughed happily and said, “Only someone with a guilty conscience would make small gestur

es. I just caught yours.”

“Oh, you’re good! I’ll accept the punishment.”

Winnie grabbed the dice cup and shook the dice vigorously.

She rolled a 1, 3, and 6, totaling 10. The punishment corresponding to the number 10 in the book was,

“Hug each gentleman in the room for one minute.”

If she didn’t accept the punishment, she had to drink three cups of wine or sing a song.

Winnie’s eyes widened in

exaggeration. She thought Baldrick and Schilder would be fine, but she couldn’t bring herself to make s

uch a request to Jonathan, whose aura screamed stay away. She feared he’d throw her out the momen

t she made this request.

So she chose to sing a short song. It sounded lovely, and Mrs. Macy gently applauded her performance

.

The game continued, and this time, Mrs. Macy got the “thief” label, and Estelle, as the “police, caught h

er. Mrs. Macy rolled the dice, and her punishment was to confess her love to someone she loves in pub

lic. This was easy for her. Mrs. Macy confidently walked over to Schilder and said with a smile, “I love y

ou”

She even said it in English and German.

Schilder held her hand, kissed it gently, and replied, “My dear, love you too.”

Mrs. Macy completed the task splendidly.

Jonathan glanced at Estelle and smiled faintly.

In the following rounds, everyone drank wine and sang songs. Estelle was caught twice, but the punish

ments were too hard for her. As she couldn’t sing, she chose to drink wine

After six cups, she felt the surroundings spinning.

Unfortunately, she picked the “thief” label once again and was caught by Mrs. Macy’s keen eyes.

Winnie excitedly told Estelle to roll the dice.

After Estelle rolled, Winnie opened the punishment book, gasped, and laughed, showing it to Estelle.

It read, “Ask one of the men for a kiss and say in a cutesy tone. ‘I want a hug and a kiss.”

Estelle looked blankly at the words on the page, which blurred in her vision.

“I think you can do it. Give it a try,” Winnle said excitedly.

Mrs. Macy added with concern, “Estelle really shouldn’t drink any more wine. I support you asking Mr. L

amont for a kiss,”

Estelle was half–dazed and found herself agreeing. She got up and walked over to Jonathan.

Noticing Estelle approaching, Jonathan turned to look at her with serene and gentle eyes.

Halfway there, Estelle wanted to back out but saw Winnie giving her an encouraging thumbs–up.

Riding the wave of drunkenness, Estelle walked straight up to Jonathan and whispered, ‘Can have a ki

ss?”

Jonathan held her hand gently and asked, “What?”
