Chapter 718: Identity out of sight
Allyce returned to her bedroom full of concern.
There was only a dim wall light on in the bedroom, and he cautiously approached the head of the bed, where he could make out Severo’s sleeping face even in the gloom.
The man, who is usually cold, handsome and calm, is as helpless as a child when he is asleep, his hostility dissipating.
Allyce reached up, traced the contours of his face and dropped a kiss on his lips before crawling into bed to sleep.
…
Early the next morning.
Allyce woke up with no one in the seat next to her.
He sat down and looked at the time and saw that it was nine o’clock.
He got up, got out of bed, put on a coat and hurried downstairs.
The room was empty, no one was there.
He stood in the corridor for a few seconds before leaving.
From a distance, he saw Severo approaching with the meat in his hand, and on the other side of him, Alonzo.
The two fathers and the son did not speak either, each went his own way.
He approached: “Are you going for a walk with the dog so early in the morning?”
“Well, since he was making a lot of noise, I took him for a walk.” Severo raised his eyes, a hint of tenderness in them.
“Mummy!”
As soon as he saw Allyce, Alonzo immediately clung to him.
Allyce took his hand and, finding it warm, looked at Severo.
Severo’s eyes fell on the thin jacket Allyce was wearing and he said, “Go in first”.
Allyce led Alonzo inside, tilting her head from time to time to look at Severo, and was slightly relieved to see that his face showed no abnormalities.
Once in the living room, Alonzo played with the beef and Severo took Allyce’s coat off, “Go and wash up while I go and see if breakfast is cold, Alonzo has already eaten”.
Allyce looked at him in surprise: “You’re up to make breakfast?
Severo smiled faintly: “I haven’t made breakfast in a while, so maybe it doesn’t taste too good.
Allyce washed up, changed and went downstairs to sit at the table. Severo heated up breakfast and brought it to her, so he sat across from her and watched her eat.
Severo has been cooking since he was a teenager and, even if he doesn’t get his hands dirty for a few months, he won’t be left behind.
Allyce swallowed it all with great enthusiasm.
She evidently pleased Severo with this gesture.
Because his forehead had been stretched.
Allyce smiled at him: “The craftsmanship is as good as ever”.
He found that after spending time with Severo in this way, he was not a very hostile person in general, and could not say that he was sick at all.
Severo seemed to see his confusion and reached up to point to his head: “Even if there is something wrong here, it can’t be a state of onset at all times.
Indeed, he also treated it.
Gabrio’s words earlier, well said.
When Betsalem treated him, he was, for the most part, disguised in front of her.
The only person he could trust wholeheartedly was Allyce, and he would have reservations about anyone else.
Allyce nodded, the disease, if not irritated, should not flare up and look normal.
The two men were sitting across from each other and were in a state of relative silence when Severo’s mobile phone rang, breaking the silence.
He took out his mobile phone, looked at the familiar number and did not immediately pick it up.
Noticing his hesitation, Allyce wondered aloud, “Why aren’t you answering your phone?
At that, Severo shot him a glance before picking up the phone and taking it off the hook.
He did not know who had called him, and from his unchanged expression he could not guess who had called him or what he had said.
It wasn’t until he hung up that Allyce had a chance to ask him: “Who called?
Severo’s eyes widened a few shades: “Xabat”.
“Xabat?” said Allyce, standing up immediately.
Severo had said earlier that he didn’t have to worry about Xabat, but he hadn’t heard from him.
Hearing him say that it was Xabat who had called him, Allyce could only be astonished.
He asked Severo: “Did you find him?
Severo got up and said, “Let’s go”.
“Where to?”
“Go and see the people you need to see”.
The cold harshness of Severo’s words prevented Allyce from asking any more questions.
…
They left Alonzo at home and the two went out together.
The place where the two went was not unknown, it was still Kimdis.
Allyce already had a guess in her mind as to who it was that Severo was going to see.
The two men rode up in the lift and went to the door of the Presidential Suite, where Severo knocked on the door.
The next moment the door to the room opened and the figure of Saul appeared in the doorway.
Allyce was not surprised that the person who appeared was Saul, as she had already guessed that the person Severo wanted to see was Tajo.
Tajo, ruler of the Solares family, Count Castaneda de J, grandfather of Severo …
All these identities are just glimpses of what it has to offer.
However, there may be another layer to their identity that is not visible.
For example, the leader behind Grizzi, Niguel.
Tajo is sitting on the sofa in a simple suit.
When he saw the two men enter, his gaze suddenly sharpened.
“Here it comes.
Two simple words with an overwhelming and oppressive air.
Severo took her hand and sat down, and when she looked up, she could see Tajo sitting across from her.
He had a handkerchief tucked into his jacket pocket, which made him look extremely well-dressed, a real old aristocrat.
Severo leaned back slightly, his long legs folded, his face calm.
“Where is Xabat?”
“You haven’t even bothered to greet me after all this time?” Tajo didn’t even look at Allyce as if he hadn’t seen her. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
These two men, with their swords drawn whenever they met, were not like kinsmen, but like enemies.
And the way things are going, there is a real possibility that they could become enemies.
Only Severo’s attitude may not be what she thinks it is.
Allyce lowered her eyes and stopped thinking deeply.
Severus was silent and Tagus, miraculously, did not mince words with him, saying, “I have freed Xabat, who, by now, should have met his sister.”
No sooner had he said his words than Severo pulled Allyce to her feet and headed straight for the door.
Saul tried to stop Severo: “Mr. Severo, you …”.
“Leave him alone.” Tajo’s majestic voice came and Saul stepped back and made no more moves.
The two had just left the room when Allyce received a call from Dita.
“Allyce, my brother is back!”
Although she didn’t go to the office today, Dita did.
So, Allyce said, “We’re going to be there”.
The two went to the office together and at the entrance of the office they saw the two Xabat brothers.
Xabat has also lost some weight, but he looks good and it seems that Tajo has not given him a hard time.
