Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 725: Life or death, I will be with her (1)

Fortunately, Xabat kept an eye on him before he caught him with his eyes: “Where are you going, boss!

Severo shouted: “I’m going to look for her, she’ll freeze in this cold”.

He had suffered many wounds, had been lying down all day and had little strength in his body, and his face turned grim when he could not free himself from the Xabat’s grip.

“Xabat, I command you, let go!”

“Boss, you can’t go. If Severo were fit and healthy now, he would not have stopped.

But Severo had been wounded many times, and if he returned in this freezing weather, he would probably come back a corpse.

They were passers-by who, although they also felt sorry for him, were more sensible than he was.

Finally, Severo was restrained by an injection of sedatives from the doctor.

He was sedated and was calm for the moment.

Xabat had been on guard, not daring to let go, in case he ran out, and now they could finally relax their tense nerves.

They had not yet eaten, so they talked about eating out.

The last to stand guard was Xabat.

And Gabrio, long before he saw Severo in that state, knew the answer to those questions in his mind, without having to ask them again.

He looked so stricken that Xabat and the others could not bear to say more and simply sent him back to the Kimdis.

Severo soon woke up.

For the sake of his health, the doctor did not give him a large dose of sedation.

Xabat had his back to him and was standing in a corner talking on the phone, presumably to his men, and Severo could faintly hear that he was ordering something.

I don’t know what he said on the other end of the phone, as if he couldn’t pronounce it clearly. He looked back at Severo, found him still looking asleep and was relieved to get out and answer the phone.

As soon as the door closed, Severo’s eyes opened and were clear.

On the bedside table are the car keys, which belong to Xabat.

Severo grabbed the keys, quickly got out of bed and looked out the door.

The sedative had not completely worn off, but that did not bother him.

Once out of the room, he quickly ran to the staircase.

Xabat was talking on the phone with his back to him when he turned his head when he heard the door open and all he saw was Severo’s back running as fast as he could.

He didn’t even have time to get off the phone before he went straight for them.

“Boss!”

Xabat called out to Severo, but Severo paid no attention.

Severo ran as fast as he could and reached the door just in time to see Xabat’s car parked a short distance away.

When Xabat chased him, he was already in Xabat’s car and driving away.

Xabat bent down and leaned on his knees to catch his breath, his face a little troubled.

Neto and the others were returning from dinner when they saw Xabat standing at the front door, and without having to ask, they guessed what had happened.

So they all went after Severo again.

Severo drove in the direction in which Allyce’s car had crashed.

He drove fast and completely on the fly.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

At the bottom of the cliff, I had never been there, but having spent so many years in Cloud Cit, I knew the way to go.

The only thought in my head was that I should go and see Allyce.

He drove down the panhandle road, getting further and further away until finally there were no more people and no more roads, so he got off and kept walking.

The depression is gradually cleared of snow and a little warmer than above.

He did not know how long he had been walking until early dawn, when he met Marco’s men.

The snow on the peaks in the distance is illuminated by the sunrise with a golden glow, giving it an exceptionally beautiful appearance.

The shadows of the trees cast on the ground spread out.

When Severo saw Marco and his group of men coming this way, he felt as if his feet weighed a thousand pounds and he could not take another step.

Marco soon saw Severo.

With an astonished look on his face, he strides over: “What brings you here?

As he approached, he noticed that Severo was dressed only in a thin hospital gown and his face was frighteningly white, but his one eye was unusually bright.

Marco just frowned when he saw him like that – after all, soldiers are very resilient and are often wounded to complete their missions, but he was still a little surprised that Severo, a spoilt businessman, had so much strength.

“You escaped from the hospital?”

Severo’s voice was hoarse: “Did you find him?

As he spoke, his eyes flickered and he dropped behind Marco.

Earlier, I had seen, from a distance, someone carrying a single painting.

By contrast, Marco was a little implacable on this point, his face a little stony: “I found it”.

Severo tensed his face and clasped his hands together to move in that direction.

But Marco grabbed him: “Stay alive, don’t go that way, we’re going back to the city now”.

Severo’s eyes instantly lit up with a burning intensity: “I’ll go and see her”.

Marco couldn’t stop him, so he had to let him go and watch.

Marco hadn’t lied to him, Allyce was alive.

But, as he looked at the wounded and blood-stained woman lying in custody, he would hardly have recognised her if he didn’t know her to the bone.

The doctor accompanying Allyce had put an oxygen mask on her and you couldn’t see her chest or her mouth moving up and down.

He trembled. A trembling hand went to his neck, feeling the faint throbbing of a strong artery, and he stumbled for a moment before steadying himself and following the group forward.

Marco saw that she looked like she was going to collapse at any moment and couldn’t help but ask her aloud: “Are you still OK?

“Hmm.” Severo whispered in response, his steps firm.

Marco didn’t say much either.

On the way back they met Xabat and his group.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief that Allyce was still alive.

But after seeing how badly Allyce was injured, their hearts sank again.

Now it is the question of being alive and possibly not living, a question that no one dares to think about.

All along the way, everyone was silent and did not speak, Severo keeping an eye on Allyce.

Xabat came with clothes and food, Severo only wore clothes and did not eat.

Back at the city hospital, the doctor was already waiting at the hospital entrance.

One of the most striking figures in front was a windy, dusty figure, which caused Dita’s face to change slightly.

Victorino also saw Dita, but quickly looked away and greeted her: “How is the lady?

Xabat shook his head without speaking.

Victorino’s face changed at the sight of Allyce and his expression became unbearably grave.

Allyce was admitted to the operating theatre.

Severo sits indifferently outside the operating theatre, ignoring anyone who speaks, for about twenty hours.

Severo was the first to go up when the operating theatre door opened.

Victorino took off his mask with a weary face: “The operation was a success, but we have to observe him again and a second operation will be necessary if the situation stabilises”.
