Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 757: Is it Lucila?

Lucila removes the half-smoked cigarette from Neto’s hand, opens a bottle of mineral water and hands it to him.

He calmed down after drinking the mineral water, but Lucila noticed that his eyes were a little red.

“Neto…,” he reached out to touch him.

However, Neto grabbed his hand and said: “I’m going to take you somewhere”.

Lucila didn’t ask too many questions and smiled slightly: “Good”.

Neto smiled beside her and rewarded her with a kiss on the hand.

Lucila’s obedience and unconditional trust in him is what moves him most, as if she is willing to follow him no matter what he takes her to do or where he goes.

It feels great to be cared for and trusted wholeheartedly.

Neto said he was going to take her somewhere and Lucila didn’t think much of it, thinking it was a nearby place that had some special meaning for him.

Instead, Neto took her to a noodle shop in L City.

From the outside you can’t tell it’s a noodle shop at all.

The entrance is planted with a variety of flowers and plants, enclosed by a fence and walled by a hedge, with a lawn on the ground and a middle section of path evenly paved with stone slabs for walking.

Before entering, Lucila thought it was a florist’s shop.

Only when she entered the noodle shop and smelled the aroma of the condiments and noodles that greeted her, and when she looked up and saw the customers two by two, was she sure that this really was a noodle shop.

She and Neto found a place to sit before she asked Neto curiously: “Did you drive so far to bring me here for noodles?

“I brought you here to meet someone.” When he finished, he signalled the waiter to order two bowls of noodles.

The waitress finished her order and did not walk away immediately as she asked: “Has Marco come to see the owner’s wife?

Neto’s look was one of rare seriousness, “Yes, but there’s no need to rush to call her, we’ll stay here all night tonight.

The waitress nodded and smiled and left, giving Lucila a curious but friendly smile before leaving.

Lucila blinked, inexplicably embarrassed.

She turned her head to look at Neto and could vaguely guess who Neto had brought her to see.

Suddenly, Neto raised his eyes and looked at her with a smile: “Aren’t you curious to know who I’m going to take you to?

Lucila pursed her lips and curved them in a controlled way, turning her head to one side and saying, rather awkwardly, “I don’t know.

The smile on Neto’s face grew even bigger.

It didn’t take long for two steaming bowls of noodles to be served.

On a cold day like this, it’s a blessing to have a steaming bowl of noodles.

Lucila was in the middle of a good meal when she felt someone approaching.

As soon as he looked up, he saw a tall, middle-aged woman walking towards him.

She was an elegant and discreet woman, wearing a camel-coloured cashmere coat with her hair tied back.

From her detailed features, you can tell she must have been a beauty when she was young.

It had come to an end as Lucila watched her.

Neto felt Lucila’s gaze and turned his head back as well.

When she saw the woman, her eyes calmed down and she cried out, “Mama”.

Lucila barely held the chopsticks in her hand.

Neto’s mother?

Neto is in his thirties and his mother looks to be in her forties at most.

Lucila blurted out: “Mum?

Neto sniffed and turned his head meaningfully to look at Lucila.

Alanzo was surprised for a moment, then smiled and took a seat next to Neto, watching Lucila with a kind face. “Is that Lucila?”

Lucila stammered a little, put the chopsticks on the table and sat up straight: “Yo, I’m Lucila, hi aunty!

Her tone was dry and she sounded nervous.

And indeed, I was very nervous.

A moment ago Neto said he was going to take her to meet someone, and she guessed it might be her mother.

But, to my surprise, he … Mum is so young!

“There’s no need to be so nervous.” Alanzo’s face softened as he saw Lucila’s face flush with nervousness.

He smiled and turned his head towards Neto with a hint of reproach in his tone: “What a grown-up, you want to bring your girlfriend, you don’t even tell her beforehand, you come all the way here and let her eat noodles.

Lucila said hurriedly: “Auntie, it’s delicious, look I’ve finished it all”.

He said, and pushed the bowl of noodles, which he had eaten all the way to the soup, to prove he wasn’t telling a lie.

Alanzo laughed, such a vivacious girl with a great personality at first glance, how did her son pick her up out of tune?

“Get used to eating”.

Lucila purses her lips and smiles subtly.

Neto hid his lips and coughed twice to stifle his laughter.

“I think you’ve eaten almost enough, so go rest at home first, or else you can have some tea.” As he spoke, his eyes glanced towards Lucila, clearly seeking her opinion.

Lucila froze for a moment and turned her head to look at Neto.

Neto looked at her with a smile on his face that clearly said: “They’re asking you, not me.

Lucila told Alanzo hastily: “Yes, I agree.

Lucila then went with Neto to Alanzo’s house.

The Alanzo family home, a homely little house, is not very chic, except that it is evident that a lot of care has gone into the decoration of the house and every plant and tree in the courtyard.

Unlike La familia Pastrano, this place is more vibrant and feels more like home.

Alanzo took them to the tea room.

It is also full of plants and pots that cannot be named.

Alanzo took a seat at the tea table and said as he boiled the water: “Your Uncle Thaddeus has gone to the western part of the city for something and won’t be back until tonight, he will be very happy if he knows you are here.

As soon as Lucila entered, she looked here and there with curiosity, and when she heard the words “Uncle Thaddeus”, she turned her head towards Alanzo with suspicion.

Perhaps the confusion on her face was too evident and Alanzo smiled and explained: “My husband, Tadeo, cooks so well that no dish is too difficult for him.

Her gaze was open and her words carried an air of pride with which she felt honoured.

Lucila, on the other hand, was speechless.

He had not been confronted with this kind of scene before.

Alanzo saw his embarrassment and added: “I also have a daughter, a few years younger than you, who is at university in Ciudad del Cielo. ”

Alanzo thought about his current situation and then, naturally, changed the subject.

Lucila doesn’t look around either, but comes over to sit next to Neto.

The tea room is comfortably decorated, with a tea table set in front of a large floor-to-ceiling window, a plush carpet on the floor and a small pond with a rockery and running water outside the window.

But that wigwam is clearly a manual DIY.

In short, the owner’s care and attention to detail is evident throughout the house.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

Whatever the process in between, Lucila knows that Neto’s mother lives happily.

I wouldn’t be so calm and peaceful if I wasn’t happy.
