Sihana’s POV
“That’s impossible, Aristo,” I said with a mocking smile “You can never be Alpha.”
“Love, you shouldn’t be talking nonsense to someone who has your life in his hands.” I swallowed as a chill slithered down my spine.
“You’re a piece of shit,” I spat. “And it’s a shame I’m only just realizing it.” Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
his eyes
followed me
Truly, I should have seen through Aristo’s bullshit. He was friendly but the way should have been a clear sign that he was a bastard. He was a womanizer, so I didn’t pay much attention to him but I should have.
Damn you, Sia. Damn you for your short–sightedness.
“You know ver pretended with you.” His eyes turned impassioned. “I’ve loved you since I met you and I’ve tried my best to make you comfortable. How can you not love me?”
“I should have seen you for what you are – a crazy psycho.” I should have been suspicious of him at least, but ver was that’s why this betrayal stung the worst
Cahir had prepared to take down all those who smiled with him in his face but went behind his back to plot evil against him but we never knew that the biggest hypocrite was right under our noses, planning with us, eating at our table, while being our biggest enemy.
“A nasty piece of work that kidnaps and molests his best friend’s mate.” His smile grew bitter. I couldn’t even call him my mate’s best friend anymore, not after he admitted to hating him.
“And I don’t love you,” I continued. “You’re not worth being loved.” The words were harsh, words I would not have thought to say to Aristo who I held in high regard. I wouldn’t even have said such harsh words on a normal day but this wasn’t a normal day and I wasn’t staring at a normal man.
“I’m not worth being loved because I’m not the Alpha of Alpha Blood?” He sounded hurt. “But I told you already that I’ll soon-”
“You can’t be Alpha even in your dreams.” Only Alphas succeeded Alphas so he could never be the Alpha of Alpha Blood pack when he had Beta blood.
“The baby may be an Alpha.” His eyes dropped to my stomach. “I can hold the position for him until he comes of age.” It felt like someone dumped a can of wriggling worms on my skin.
This bastard – This bastard had made plans to involve even my unborn child!?
“What the fuck do you mean?” He stroked my skin and even though I flinched away, I could not escape his disgusting touch.
“I am the Beta of Alpha Blood pack and I have an Alpha baby on the way. The Greysons and Alpha Morris will be my backing. Once I get rid of that bastard, I can fill the post of Alpha until the child is
old enough. to take over.” His eyes were on my stomach when he spoke of ‘the baby‘ so I knew he was talking about my
child.
“This is Cahir’s child,” I hissed. “What Alpha are you expecting.”
BB.
“When I heard you were pregnant, it complicated things,” he confessed in a subdued tone. “I thought of getting rid of the child and making it look like Cahir’s doing but it would have put your life in danger. I couldn’t risk your life.” He placed a hand on my stomach and my temperature flared..
“Sihana.” I heard the voice in my head and gasped. “Don’t panic. I’m coming.” It was Cahir’s voice and it sounded cold and lifeless, scaring me. It sent stabs of pain through me, worse than I’d felt when I tried to establish a link with him on my own.
“How did that bastard contact you even with the drug!? Aristo shouted, his eyes looking crazed. How did he even know? “What did he say!?” He demanded.
“What are you talking about?” I spoke through gritted teeth as the throbbing in my head made me see stars. The room blinked in and out of focus and I clenched my teeth to hide my pain. I couldn’t let this psycho know that I’d established contact with my mate
“Don’t play with me!” Aristo rattled me so hard I bit my tongue. “It’s obvious from the way you gasped just now that he reached you. What did he say!?”
“He said I gasped as he continued to rattle me. “He’s coming.” I breathed out, unable to help myself as Aristo shook the living daylight out of me.
“Coming!? Where the hell – Did you tell him where you are?” He glared at me. “No, how would you even know where you are.” He shook his head. “But how would he find you?” He muttered to himself. He asked a lot of questions but the answer was clear – he was dealing with a man like Cahir Armani. He’d find me no
matter what.
I breathed out a sigh of relief as the effect of the drug–altering senses subsided. No matter what Aristo tried to do, I had faith in my mate. If he said he was coming, then he would come. Aristo may have turned into a psycho obsessing over me, but Cahir Armani had been a psycho for seven years.
“You” He hissed, glaring at me. “Are you laughing right now!?” He shouted, wagging a finger at me. “This –” He spluttered, rubbing his neck as he paced. “Sebastian!” His sudden exclamation had me flinching.
I should have been surprised, but after Aristo, a man I would trust with my life betrayed me, I wasn’t surprised to see Sebastian walk into the room Aristo had me tied in.
“You called?” The emaciated warrior asked with a subdued gaze, his cheeks reddening as he glanced at my naked body. Aristo threw a blanket to cover me.
“You bastard, she’s mine! Don’t you dare look at her!” He shouted.
“Y – Yes.” Sebastian glanced at me again but only my face showed after Aristo covered me. He had the effrontery to look apologetic.
“I should have let Cahir torture you to death,” I hissed in a tone that was half–angry and half– mournful.
“You’re a good person.” Aristo snickered. “You forgive those that shouldn’t be forgiven. As you can see, Sebastian’s loyalty is to me, not that bastard.”
“Does it matter?” I blinked my eyes innocently to aggravate the already aggravated bastard. “You’re all going to die by his hands.” Aristo burst into loud laughter.
“You think Cahir Armani is all that,” he snorted. “You think I am nothing but a sidekick but I conquered Alpha Blood with him and now I have all his best men on my side. That bastard had a knack for making people hate him so it wasn’t difficult getting people on my side. Do you think I would lose to him?”

I may believe too much in my mate but I’d seen Cahir laughter three people in minutes. Those
eyes that flashed golden and terrified me, that side of him that I wanted to cure, it was a side that if unleashed, could slaughter half of Alpha Blood before he was restrained,
It was then I got nervous.
Not for the fact that these people could possibly hurt my mate, but that if he gave into the bloodlust again this time, he may now turn fully rogue. Rather than depend on my mate, shouldn’t I get myself out of this
mess?
‘He got us into this in the first place,’ Asena grumbled. I told that man – She went off on a long rant but I blocked her out.
“We’re moving her. That bastard knows where she is,” Aristo bit out.
“How could he?” Sebastian asked, blinking his eyes. “We left no traces -” He was cut off by a growl.
“Do not question me.” Aristo’s voice changed, deepening as if a demon had entered his body and spoken with his mouth. “If I say we are moving, then we are moving.”
“Yes, Alpha.” Sebastian barred his neck, a gesture reserved for Alphas. It made Aristo smile. His eyes cut to me as if to say, ‘See? I told you. “Where are we moving to?”
“The third location,” Aristo grumbled. “It’s annoying having to change location all the time but that bastard – Does he have a tracker on you or what?” He gave me a suspicious once over but shook his head. “No, if he did, I would have known. He tells me everything.” He snickered again and my heart stung. This man really betrayed my mate in the worst po
