Chapter 590 Why Guilty
Chapter 590 Why Guilty
Alice temporarily didn't know what to say but only froze.
Manfred became quiet, after a moment, he gave light laughter.
“Charlotte?”
Alice, “... You called the wrong name.”
She had not used this name for a long time, but Manfred still called her that name in the past time they
met.
When she answered, Manfred heaved a deep sigh.
“Whether I have called the wrong name, you contacted me at last.”
Alice, “...”
“Ever since I saw you in the supermarket, I've been sad that you didn't want to recognize me. So I've
been waiting for you to get in touch, and now you did contact me.”
Wait for her to contact him?
Alice sneered, “So you did that to make me take the initiative to contact you?”
“Charlotte, do you think I'm mean?”
More than mean…
Alice did not speak that out but said unhappily, “What are you trying to do? What is your purpose?”
After a long silence, Manfred said helplessly.
“I want to see you.”
“Can we meet at the cafe at the corner of Xinyu Street tomorrow?”
Should she say yes? Alice remembered her promise to Kennedy. She told him tomorrow was the
weekend and she would go out, so that he could have some rest.
There was no answer from her. But Manfred waited quietly and patiently for her reply.
As Manfred thought Alice would not answer, she agreed.
“Ok. I have something to ask you by the way.”
After hanging up the phone, Alice nest in her bed and checked the information about Blue Sky Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Company with a laptop.
After a careful check, she found that this company was registered three years ago. Although the time of
establishment was only three years, because the person who registered the company was Manfred,
the company was in full bloom no matter in operation, or other things.
In the process of checking, Alice noticed that Manfred changed his surname to register his company.
What happened?
When she married into the Moore family, she found that Kennedy was not in the same boat with
Manfred and Reynold. And she married with Kennedy, so she could only be in the same boat with
Kennedy.
But she didn't expect that Manfred would do so many things for her.
She knew it had been wrong of her to recognize him when she came back, but so what if she
recognized him?
She was no longer his sister-in-law.
She didn't want to get along with him as a girl friend.
Thinking of that, Alice closed her laptop and closed her eyes tiredly.
It was time to go to bed.
The next day Alice woke up, when she opened her eyes, she found that she got cold sweat on her
forehead.
She dreamed all night last night.
Because Manfred suddenly appeared in her life, so in her dream there was not only Kennedy, but also
Manfred.
Manfred reached out his hand to her in her dream, and his voice was as warm as spring.
“Charlotte, come with me, leave him.”
“He can only hurt you. Do you want to make the same mistake five years ago?”
“Don't do that to yourself. He did it to you then, and he will do it again. If you come with me, I'll stay with
you all my life.”
Suddenly, the room suddenly became dark, Alice turned around and saw Kennedy who was
approaching her.
His eyes were deep, like those of a dangerous beast.
“Where are you going? You are my woman, and you are destined to stay with me all your life.”
His arrogant and overlord breath made Alice subconsciously want to run, but soon, she was caught by
Kennedy and then she seemed to fall into the endless abyss, only a male’s voice could be heard.
“It's too late to run...”
Then she woke up and saw the sunlight from the white curtain, and the brightness of the room proved
that everything had just been a dream.
And the dream was illusory which did not exist.
The night passed.
Alice lay there to think about it before she supported her herself up and walked into the bathroom
barefoot.
After she put everything away, picked up the phone, only to see Kennedy sent her a message.
{Let me know if you want to go out. Don't run around alone. }
It warmed the heart of Alice.
Alice bent up her red lips, and then thought of Manfred’s message.
After he had booked the place, he sent her the address. They should meet at nine in the morning, and
now it was eight, almost an hour before the meeting.
Alice did not plan to dress up to meet Manfred, so she just changed casual clothes, put on a light
makeup, and then send a message to Kennedy.
But as she just picked up the phone, she wondered she would wake him up if he was still sleeping at
this hour.
After a moment of thinking, Alice put away the phone, did not send him a message, but directly
changed her shoes and then walked out of the door.
Because of guilty, Alice subconsciously looked toward the door of Kennedy and then she closed the
door lightly.
Wait until she walked to the elevator, Alice felt she was like a thief.
She waited with bated breath for the elevator. She was really afraid that Kennedy would suddenly open
the door. And she was still worried after she got into the elevator.
In the past, Kennedy waited her downstairs, so Alice was also worried about meeting Kennedy on the
first floor.
Until she walked out of the community, took a taxi, she had not seen Kennedy, so she became relieved.
He was actually sleeping.
Alice took out her phone and was to send him a message
Why should she care so much about him? Even if she did come out, it would be to about work, and
even if not about work, it would be her personal freedom.
Why did she worry about being found out by Kennedy?
At this thought, Alice stuffed back her phone into her bag.
It must have been because Kennedy had been so kind to her during this period that she had been used
to it. She must change this habit.
Because it was the weekend, there were not many cars at this point, but there were not very few. All
the way, she waited for a long time at the red light. Alice was almost late to arrive.
Fortunately she left early.
After entering the cafe, Alice saw a familiar figure in the corner far away.
When he saw her, he stood up, waving at her with a smile on its face.
