Chapter 112
Chapter 112
The next day.
Early in the morning, Liam went to the company.
But when he entered the company, he didn't see Abigail.
He frowned at the empty seat.
No one else knew about what had happened yesterday.
"Where's Abigail?" He asked others.
Jane sat the nearest to Abigail. When Liam asked, she answered, "I heard she had something to deal
with and asked for leave." Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
'Leave?'
'She asked for leave again!'
'Damn it. Did she do it on purpose in order not to see me?'
'She must do it on purpose.'
Thinking of this, Liam turned around and walked into the office.
He was still angry at her but calmed down a lot.
Without Abigail, he couldn't sit still.
Just as he was about to get up, ready to leave, the door was pushed open.
Olive stood at the door.
"Liam," Olive called his name softly when she saw Liam.
Seeing Olive, Liam frowned. "Why are you here?"
"Are you going out?" Olive looked at the coat in his hand and asked.
"Yes," Liam replied. "I need to deal with something."
Olive walked in and looked at Liam, asking, "Why didn't you answer my call yesterday?"
In fact, she really wanted to ask if he was with Abigail yesterday, but she was afraid that Liam would be
angry, so she suppressed the urge.
"Something happened yesterday. I didn't bring my cell phone. Is there anything wrong?" Liam asked.
'Something?'
'He was with Abigail!'
Olive felt heartbroken. But she tried her best to control her feelings and not to argue with him because
of these things.
She took two steps up and hugged Liam from behind, her slender hands around his waist.
"Liam." She called out softly.
Liam paused and looked down at her hands, frowning slightly.
"Liam, let's get married," Olive said suddenly.
Hearing this, Liam was stunned. "What did you say?"
"Let's get married," Olive said again. She was really afraid of losing him. She was very nervous.
Speaking of this, she hugged Liam even more tightly.
Liam frowned. At this moment, he put away her hands and said, "Olive, don't joke."
"I'm not joking. I'm serious." Olive looked at Liam and said word by word.
"Olive, you should know that I don't have this plan for the time being."
"You don't have this plan? You just don't plan to marry me?" Olive looked at Liam and asked. She had
already proposed to him. Why didn't he agree?
Looking at Olive, Liam frowned and continued, "You should know that I won't get married until things
are done."
"I know you really want to expand the Powerline Group. But now the Powerline Group is very powerful.
Besides, our marriage has no conflict with this." Olive looked at Liam and said.
"Olive." Liam interrupted Olive when he saw her excited. "When you were with me from the beginning,
you knew that I wouldn't change my idea."
Looking at Liam's determined look, Olive suddenly felt that all her efforts were in vain.
