Chapter 451
Chapter 451
Dan was a person with a sunny disposition, and people might feel pleased when they looked at him.
Abigail smiled, "Okay, I got to go."
Dan nodded. Then, Abigail took the elevator and arrived at the parking lot. When she saw Liam's car,
Abigail opened the door of the car and got in.
Fortunately, there were not many people there, so Abigail drove out directly without difficulty.
After half an hour, Abigail arrived at the hospital.
The streets were clogged with traffic during the afternoon rush hour. Abigail also bought some desserts
for Senior Mrs. Jones, which were her favorites. Thus, it took her more than half an hour to get to the
hospital.
The nurse was persuading Senior Mrs. Jones to take the medicine in the ward. However, she refused
to take it.
When Abigail entered the door, she heard their conversations.
"I won't take this. Never. That is so disgusting. How am I supposed to take this?"
"A saying goes that food that tastes bad must be good for you. How could you get recovered if you
don't take the medicine? You'd better do as I told." The nurse was trying her best, but Senior Mrs.
Jones still resisted it.
Abigail walked to the door and heard their conversations. She said, "Grandma, it seems that you're not
taking that medicine again!" Abigail complained.
Senior Mrs. Jones immediately turned around and looked at the door upon hearing Abigail's voice. Her
face cracked into a smile when she caught sight of Abigail. "Abigail, you're here. I haven't seen you for
such a long time. I thought you wouldn't come to see me."
Abigail walked towards her, took the medicine directly from the nurse's hand, and gave the nurse a
smile, which was really comforting.
The nurse quickly gave the medicine to Abigail, but she didn't leave before making sure that Senior
Mrs. Jones took the medicine.
At this moment, Abigail walked straight to Senior Mrs. Jones with the medicine and the cup in her hand.
Then, she handed the medicine to Senior Mrs. Jones.
Senior Mrs. Jones was sitting there and felt a little bit unhappy with her actions. However, she still
reached out her hand to get the medicine.
"This medicine is very bitter!" Senior Mrs. Jones said as she was taking the cup from Abigail, looking
very reluctant.
"It is good for your health. You have to take it!" Abigail stressed.
Senior Mrs. Jones also knew that this time she could not refuse it, so she took it as required.
The nurse, who was standing beside them, watched them and felt quite delighted. She was trying so
hard to persuade her but failed. Now that this woman was here, Senior Mrs. Jones actually took it
obediently.
"Grandma, it is very lucky of you to have such a good granddaughter!" The nurse said with a smile.
Senior Mrs. Jones paused for a moment when she heard the nurse's words. She immediately corrected
her mistakes, "She is my granddaughter-in-law!"Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
The nurse was surprised, then smiled, "That's nice. A great family."
"Glad to hear that! You are so sweet," Senior Mrs. Jones said.
The nurse smiled, "Since everything is okay, I am leaving now. Just let me know if you need help."
"Sure, see you," Senior Mrs. Jones said.
Then, the nurse went out.
Abigail took out the desserts for Senior Mrs. Jones. "Grandma, can you not tell everyone that I am your
granddaughter-in-law?"
Hearing what she said, Senior Mrs. Jones took a bite of the dessert. "Why? This is the fact."
"No! That is not the case!"
"You were with Liam yesterday, right? How is it going? When are you planning to get married?" Then,
Senior Mrs. Jones immediately leaned over to look at Abigail and asked her with a meaningful smile.
