The couple, in no time, started the car, and Sheri was relieved as the car moved away from that place.
"Thank you" Sheri was deeply grateful towards the couple.
"What happened? Do you want us to go to the police?" The man asked.
"No, no police," Sheri frantically answered.
"Don't tell me you're doing an illegal thing that is why they kidnapped you and the reason you don't
want to go to the police?" The woman probed.
"No! Absolutely not. My kidnapper is a very influential person. Please drop me somewhere on 13th
avenue street," She beseeched them.
"Are you sure?" the man asked in concern.
"Yes." During the whole trip. Sheri was thinking about the time she was kidnapped.
Before she was transmigrated she remembers the moment she was kidnapped by Eric and it was the
same scenario the two men went and buy a take out food. At that time she was helpless and only cried.
Arriving at the mansion. She was bought in a dark room tied in a chair. The room smelled so bad. Like
there are rotten things. She cannot see her surroundings. After a while, she heard the sound of shoes
approaching.
When her blindfold removed she saw Eric scowling at her.
"Eric..." She was nervous. She can see that Eric is ready to kill her.
"I didn't mean to push her. Please believe me. It was an accident. She tried to push me first. Please,
please please believe me."Sheri cried while begging at Eric.
He didn't believe her and at that time begins her tragic ending.
She was awakened from her thought when the woman asks her.
"Do you need any help with those rope?" the woman asked.
"Please, if you have any sharp object."
"I think I have one" The woman immediately opened her cover and brought out her nail polisher. She
tried loosening the rope, and after a few minutes, she freed Sheri's hands.
"Thank you!" Sheri squeezed her eyes and cried a little to enable them to know she was frightened but
deep down, she was merely concerned. This was after all her punishment world. She never guessed
she would go back to the moment she was kidnapped by Eric.
The worst thing was that most of the knowledge she acquired was erased. 'This will be a headache',
Sheri thought to herself.
"Are you really fine?" The man asked again. He saw that she was scared and helpless. She looked like
a rich person trying to escape something.
"Yes and thank you for saving my life. I will be forever grateful for your help for the rest of my life."
The car then arrived and stopped at the 13th avenue. She removed her watch and her ring. She was
wearing her Montblanc Boheme automatic date 30mm watch which cost around 10, 000 to 12,000
thousand dollars together with the ring it cost around 15,000 dollars.
"Thank you! Please take this. This is the only thing I can give you. Please don't trust anyone regarding
these. Before you sell it, try to research the value. " Sheri handed it to them and left the car. The two
couples were in a daze when they received the watch and ring.
After getting out of the car. She walked and runs all the way to the opposite street on 5th avenue. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
Before going inside a condominium, she looked around to make sure it was safe. Luckily at that time, a
receptionist was not present. She already knew the needed code to get in, even without a key. She
hastily walked in and ran to the elevator hoping no one could see her as it goes up. Arriving at the top
floor, she rung the bell but voice from the hallway made her stop and hid in the emergency exit. She
looked through a small opening from the door and saw her brother with Eric.
"S***!" She can't help but curse.
She knew this was the time Eric implemented his plan on destroying the company of her family. They
went in and after 5 minutes, they were out again. Eric was holding a document while Sven was leading
him out toward the elevator.
From where she's hiding, she can still hear their conversation.
"Nice business with you Mr. Hoal. The next time, we will have a party for sure." Eric said.
"Yes, it will be Mr. Copper. Looking forward to the outcome of our partnership" Sven followed through.
The elevator wasn't opening up. Sven's forehead knitted together as he immediately called the
receptionist.
"The elevator, why is taking it too long?" Sven complained about on the phone.
"Okay." The talk on the phone didn't take long as Sven answered back. After ending the call, he turned
back to Eric,
"There are just a few delays on the 4th floor," Sven explained. "Perhaps I can offer you a coffee?"
"That is kind of you, Mr. Hoal, but I have an appointment. Someone is waiting for me." Eric smiled.
Hearing Eric, Sheri felt coldness on her back glancing at his grimly smile.
"Oh, I never knew you have a girlfriend." Sven teased him.
Eric just kept his smile.
"Stupid!" Sheri cursed her brother.
After a few minutes, there was still no sign of the elevator coming up from the 4th floor.
Breaking the silence, Eric's phone rang. He excused himself and went to the window.
"Imbecile!" Eric Angry shouted after hearing what the other person on the phone reported.
"Find her now!" He commanded in gritted teeth. He combs his hair with his hand and was really pissed
off.
He then looked back at Sven.
"Trouble in paradise?" The innocent Sven asked.
"Yeah, I better go. I think I will take the stairs," Eric answered and was supposed to turn around but
luckily stopped by a ding sound signifying that the elevator was up.
"Oh good!" Sven felt lighter and walked inside the elevator with Eric.
The hiding Sheri just behind the door was nervous the whole time.
"Sorry host, that's the sole thing I can do." The human-robotic voice said spoke in her mind.
"Oh, system! You have no idea that it's already a big help," Sheri sighed and answered in relief. After
making sure Sven and Eric were out of the scene, she immediately went to her brother's apartment.
"System, is there a way you can help me with his pin code?" She was troubled not without a way to
enter.
"I'm sorry, host. I am trying to see but every time I look at the data, the data starts to blurred, I will get
back to see what is really happening." The human-robotic voice replied.
Sven had inevitably changed his apartment passcode because of her. She had always been wilful to
barge in his brother's apartment stealing things. As the system couldn't help, she tried typing his
birthday and his other related special days but was all in naught. It didn't work and there were only 2
chances left.
The elevator sounded again and Sven appears twirling his keys around his finger.
"You! What are you doing here?!" Sven was surprised and anger showed on his face as he realized
that Sheri was trying to open his door.
"Oh thank God, hurry and open the door!" Sheri ignored his complaints and urged' him.
"Don't tell me you run away from home because mom didn't give you what you wanted again!" Sven's
tone was rising in anger.
Sheri could well have understood his brother's anger since she was aware her attitude to her family
had been so bad.
"Hurry open the door!" She desperately urged him as she walked to the window side. She look down
and saw Eric below with some of his men and figured out that he was yelling at them. Just on cue, Eric
looked up where she stood.
She immediately sat and crawled to Sven.
"I'll explain later, please open the door for now," Sheri shouted in panic.
Sven's face couldn't be described. He had a bad feeling still thinking about any prank Sheri was trying
to pull. In the end, he still opened the door but was left in another surprise as she ran inside pulling him
over. She opened the light and went straight to the kitchen getting herself a glass of water.
"What's wrong with you? And why are you not wearing any shoes? Tell me what did you do again this
time." Sven was angry and but still asked in concern.
Sheri looked seriously at his brother.
"Sven, listen to me. I know you won't believe me now, but you just made a big mistake in dealing with a
wolf dressed in sheep clothing," She warned.
"What are you talking about? And what do you know about business? All you know is to spend money"
Sven got angry by what she said.
"Shut up! and listen to me first and tell me if I am wrong." Sheri seriously explained to him all of Sven's
plans and ideas even details about the deal he just made with Eric.
Hearing all of these pieces of information from her, Sven's face paled to red as he burst in anger.
"How did you know all of this? Are you spying on me?!"
"Me? Spying on you? No way and why would I? Listen carefully to what I say. We have no time to lose.
Transfer a large amount to this bank and make sure to cover all your traces. I know you're good at that"
As Sheri wrote the name of the bank, Sven saw the red marks on her hand.
"What happened to you? Why are your feet bruised and your hand with a trace of rope?" Sven was a
businessman, and he knew the black and white in the business world.
Sheri stopped of what she was doing and looked at him whose face changed from anger to some
traces of worry.
"My life is in danger because I harmed one of the most important people among the two important
people in this country. I am not living but already considered dead to them. You and I both know what
will happen to that person who offended them."
She then kneeled and lowered herself in front of Sven.
"Wh---" He wasn't able to finish his sentence since Sheri blocked him right away.
"Warning host. You're endangering the rules the system had set up. Please don't do it. "The human-
robotic voice frantically warned, but Sheri ignored. She will make sure her family wouldn't be involved
in this punishment world. She will make sure to protect them even if it's the price of her soul vanishing.
So be it!
"Please Sven. Just this once, listen to me! I know that there have been multiple times that I have been
acting carelessly. This time is different. Please do what I say for the sake of our family!" She tried
making a point and asked her brother.
Sven also kneeled. No matter what, she is still her younger sister. If she's telling the truth, then her life
is really in danger.
"Tell me, what have you done? How can I help you?" He asked and helped her stand up.
"Sven, promise me first that you will do it now," She pleaded earnestly while looking at his brother.
Sven, on the other hand, looked clearly at her eyes and knew that she was serious and telling the truth.
He felt all she said wasn't any lie but the truth. He wanted to know more about everything that
happened.
