I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 422

Chapter 422

Untainted was at the final stage of the Celestial Soul realm. His cultivation had attained unprecedented power. With unparalleled pride, he held himself above all, honed in seclusion within the mountain, detached from the affairs of the world. His unwavering ego kept him from ever joining his junior disciples in launching an attack on Simon.

“Alright, let's settle this with a fair duel. If you manage to defeat me, I'll take you to meet my master,” Untainted proposed.

Simon, renowned for his ruthless nature, retorted, “I shall admit defeat if I can't defeat you in one single strike!”

“How arrogant!” Untainted bellowed. In an instant, he shifted his stance, lunging forward like a bolt of lightning.

He unleashed his most powerful technique—Thunderous Palm!

His hands moved with lightning-like speed, executing intricate finger seals that transformed like flowing streams of light, accompanied by distant rumblings of thunder.

That was indeed a powerful move.

Just then, Simon too, made his move. In an instant, Simon unleashed his force field, expanding it to its full extent.

The air around them grew heavy with an overwhelming chill as the aura of death emanated from Simon and surged toward Untainted. At the same time, Simon unleashed an absolute force, his palm striking

in the direction of Untainted's Thunderous Palm.

No matter how brilliant Untainted's Thunderous Palm was, he had no choice but to confront Simon's attack.

Simon's mastery in wielding his force field left Untainted devoid of any other thoughts.

The collision of their palms made Untainted feel as if he was confronting an unstoppable torrent, a force capable of shattering the very heavens and earth.

Untainted's supposedly invincible energy began to waver as he could feel the opponent's power breaking through his defenses.

The force was unstoppable!

Untainted staggered back three steps and spat out a mouthful of blood suddenly.

His face turned pale as a sheet, his eyes filled with disbelief. “How is this possible? How is it possible? He can't be that powerful!” Untainted could not comprehend it!

His power had reached the pinnacle of human potential, yet he was still no match for Simon.

The realization dealt a devastating blow to Untainted's spirit.

“How is that possible?” Untainted asked Simon in a stern voice.

Knitting his brows, Simon replied, “Keep your promise and take me to Marlington King right now.”

“Answer my question first,” Untainted insisted.

“No comment!” Simon responded indifferently.

Untainted stood frozen for a moment, and even Baryl and the others were left speechless, unsure of what to say. Everyone could not help but find Simon's temperament to be peculiar.

Untainted took a deep breath and said, “Fine. I'll take you to my master.”

After speaking, he turned around and walked away.

Simon followed closely behind Untainted, and Mauve maintained her pace alongside him.

Simon paid no attention to her.

There were countless caves and chambers in Heavenly Cave, each with its own distinct level of security.

In the center of the cave was a long corridor, spacious and well-guarded.

Further ahead, they passed by a natural hot spring, steam rising from its waters.

Continuing forward, they arrived at another hidden paradise.

Upon the expansive terrain, a cluster of fruit trees stood proudly, their branches heavily laden with a plentiful yield of ripe fruits.

The trees next to the hot spring pool flourished with remarkable vigor and vitality.

Untainted led the way, followed by his fellow disciples entering the cave.

However, Baryl was not permitted to enter.

Soon, Simon and Mauve were led to the central chamber of the cavern.

The facilities in the grand hall exuded an aura of antiquity, evoking a sense of the distant past. It was clear that this was the designated meeting place within Heavenly Cave.

Simon noticed a passageway that seemed to lead to another hidden realm.

Untainted turned to Simon and said, “You wait here while I inform the master.”

Simon nodded in response.

After a brief moment, Untainted vanished into the passageway, only to reappear shortly after. “You may enter now.”

Simon inclined his head in acknowledgment. He wanted Mauve to stay outside, but she insisted on accompanying him.

Mauve was determined to go inside because she was afraid that Simon, with his impulsive nature, might inadvertently offend Marlington King.

It was difficult to expect what might appear at the end of the passageway. However, there was a stone chamber beside it, which served as the residence of Marlington King.

Marlington King's voice emerged from inside. “Come in.”

Simon and Mauve entered the stone chamber, which contained a bed and a stone table.

Dressed in plain black robes, Marlington King appeared as nothing more than an ordinary elderly man.

He would hardly stand out if he were to appear in a crowd.

Yet, it was precisely such an unassuming individual who potentially possessed the most formidable and fearsome power.

At one glance, Simon could immediately tell Marlington King had also reached the ninth level of the Divine Master realm.

However, the cultivation path of Marlington King did not appear to align with traditional and orthodox methods. It bore striking similarities to Simon's own cultivation techniques.

It appeared that Marlington King had achieved his cultivation through the aid of some peculiar parasites.

Marlington's reputation for its affiliation with parasites was well-known, and its involvement played a significant role in its cultivation practices.

Simon locked eyes with Marlington King, and the king reciprocated the intense gaze, studying Simon intently.

Mauve hesitantly inquired, “Are you truly Marlington King?” The Marlington King turned his gaze toward her and replied calmly, “Yes, I am.”

Mauve dropped to her knees and pleaded, “Please save Simon.”

Annoyed by Mauve's inclination to kneel on every occasion, Simon knitted his brows and said icily, “Get up!” After a brief pause, he continued, “Don't you dare kneel before anyone in front of me.”

Sensing the indifference in his voice, Mauve felt her heart skip a beat. Yet, undeterred by Simon's admonishment, the young girl persisted in beseeching Marlington King.

“Get up!” Simon lifted Mauve from the ground swiftly. He turned to Marlington King, his tone growing colder as he inquired, “Can you provide me with the antidote to cleanse the toxins of the golden king silkworm in my body?”

The Marlington King retorted, “What if I can? And what if I can't?”

Simon said, “If you can, then cure me, and I'll fulfill any reward you desire. But if you can't, I'll just leave.”

Marlington King responded nonchalantly, “I'm capable of doing that, but I won't, no matter what rewards you give.”

“Why not?” Simon asked in a deep voice.

Marlington King answered calmly, “We, the Marlingtonians, fear and respect all insects and parasites. I'll have to kill the golden king silkworm in your body in order to save your life, but your life is not as precious as the king silkworm to me.”

An icy aura emanated from Simon's eyes as he said, “If you had told me you couldn't do it, I would have left. But you boasted that you can rid my body of toxins, yet you refuse to do so. Are you tired of living?”

Marlington King replied with a subtle smile, “Do you think you can stir up trouble in Heavenly Cave? Moreover, I am the king of Marlington. I'll never deceive you just to make you leave.”

Simon chuckled arrogantly. “You overestimate yourself. There is no place in this world where I cannot wreak havoc.”

“Except Heavenly Cave!” Marlington King stressed each word.

Simon responded, “Very well then. I shall give it a shot.”

The Marlington King said, “Hold on.”

Simon paused for a moment. Mauve, too, immediately stopped him and said, “Simon, don't!”

She was torn between a rock and a hard place. With tears welling up in her eyes, she pleaded with Marlington King. “Simon got poisoned for trying to save me. Could you please save him? God will bless you.”

Marlington King replied, “I've already said his life was not as precious as that of the golden king silkworm. I won't save him.” He paused, then turned to Simon and said, “Since you're destined to die anyway, you've nothing to fear. But be aware that any action you take will result in the death of the girl by your side. So, before you decide to challenge me, think carefully.”

Simon was stunned.

After a long silence, he suddenly grabbed Mauve's hand and said, “Let's go!” Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

Mauve wanted to continue pleading with Marlington King, but Simon's strength was so overpowering that she had no choice but to give in.

Just like that, Simon led Mauve out of Heavenly Cave.

Above the sky displayed a radiant moon, its silver rays cascading upon the sprawling mountain peaks.

Be it Superb Ridge, Maleficent Ridge, or even Thunder Peak, each imbued this range with a mystical allure.

It seemed as though all the tales of immortals and warriors in Mount Varaon originated from this very place.

“Release me, Simon. I must plead with Marlington King.” Mauve struggled to pull herself away.

“Don't you dare beg him!” Simon roared at Mauve.

Taken aback by his fierce demeanor, Mauve stopped in her tracks for a moment. She then instinctively clung onto him, her voice choked with tears. “But I can't bear to see you perish, Simon! I don't want you to die!”

With each word, her cries grew louder, echoing her deep anguish and torment.

Simon froze for a moment before bursting into laughter. “Everyone wants me dead, yet here you are, not only do you wish for my survival but shedding tears for me. How peculiar!”

Yet, Mauve was unbothered by his remark.

“Come, let's go. Let's find Baryl and get him to take you down the mountain. I can't send you back anymore,” Simon said.

Mauve disregarded his words, prompting Simon to grip her firmly under his arm as they descended the mountain.

Baryl was still awake when they arrived at his house. He opened the door and welcomed Simon and Mauve inside.

Simon took out a stack of cash from the spatial ring. “Marlington King refused to treat me, so there's no way I can escape death.” After a short pause, he said, “Since I won't be able to take her out of Marlington, I hope you can safely escort her out of here. Can you do it?”

Baryl did not pay attention to the cash. “Give the money to the little girl. We won't be able to spend the money here. I'll escort her out of here, I promise.”

“Thank you!” Simon uttered.

Simon then took down the spatial ring. Initially, he intended to hand it over to Mauve but hesitated and withdrew his hand.

Mauve was bewildered by his move, but she did not ask further.

Just when he was about to turn around and step out of the door, he collapsed and passed out.

“Simon!” Mauve's face turned pale, and she ran toward him.

Baryl walked over, releasing a sigh as he spoke. “The poison in his body is strong, and he's been pushing himself beyond his limits lately. The recent confrontation with the people in Heavenly Cave seems to have worsened the situation. He can't suppress the toxins any longer.”

“Baryl, what should we do?” Tears filled Mauve's eyes. She had never cried so much in her life. “I don't want him to die!”

Baryl responded, “He has half an hour left at most. If Marlington King doesn't step in, he's done for. But Marlington King, being a devout believer, will never kill the golden silkworm king just to save him.”
