I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 453 The Invincible Skylar

Chapter 453 The Invincible Skylar

Jonathan and Torrence had fallen into a desperate situation.

Jonathan was certain that Moose still had other tricks up his sleeves, but he and Torrence were now trapped in a prison. If Moose were to cast the Ice Swords magic again inside, all that awaited Torrence and him was death.

We have to break out of here as soon as possible!

With Torrence sharing his sentiments, Jonathan unleashed a devastating punch against the prison walls.

Following a loud bang, the ice prison tremored slightly. Yet there were no signs of any damage being done to it.

Torrence thrust Hallowed Sword forward, igniting a burst of sparks. Even then, he couldn't land a scratch on the ice prison.

Faced with an increasingly desperate situation, Jonathan began to fret.

The barrage of punches and kicks he threw ended up being futile.

Torrence, too, had run out of ideas.

Right then, Moose chanted a spell, causing the ground before Jonathan and Torrence to transform.

They heard howling in the air as countless ice swords shot out of the ground.

Instead of flying out, they stabbed out of the ground like winter pine trees.

Jonathan and Torrence continued evading the attacks by exerting their senses to the extreme.

Nevertheless, they knew that it was a matter of time before they were killed.

Left without a choice, Jonathan threw a bunch of fire talismans.

Boom! Boom!

Fire raged to the sky, but it didn't seem to have any effect at all. The ice prison was left unscathed and showed no signs of melting.

The temperature difference was clearly not on the same level at all.

Staring at the face of death, Jonathan didn't panic and racked his brain for ideas. All of a sudden, he had an epiphany.

The ice prison was created by magic that uses water elements! The reason the fire talisman was unable to melt it was that its temperature wasn't high enough compared to the prison's extreme cold. But what about my blood? The blood of powerful vampires is filled with positive energy!

Jonathan knew that the temperature of his blood was exceptionally high due to the amount of positive energy it contained.

Without a moment's hesitation, he cut his thigh with his fingernail and quickly wiped some blood off with

his finger.

Thereafter, he pressed his palm against the wall of the ice prison, leaving a palm print of blood on it.

He roared as he kicked it violently.

A loud boom rang out, followed by cracks appearing on the wall.

Jonathan quickly let out a battle cry as he and Torrence slammed their bodies against the wall like a battering ram.

As another bang rang out, the prison wall was finally shattered, allowing the two to escape.

Upon regaining their freedom, both of them leaped into the air. Without a moment's hesitation, Torrence threw Hallowed Sword toward Moose's head.

As the sword whistled through the air, Moose weaved an ice wall with his finger by using water elements.

Sparks flew when Hallowed Sword struck the ice wall, and it fell to the ground.

It was then that Jonathan burst out of nowhere and slammed his blood-drenched palm onto the ice wall. Cracks began to emerge before Jonathan shattered it with another strike.

Right after that, Jonathan kicked Hallowed Sword and sent it flying at Moose again.

Moose instantly conjured up another wall made of ice, and for the second time, Hallowed Sword fell onto the ground upon impact.

Right then, Torrence appeared behind Moose like an angel that descended from the sky.

Grabbing Moose's head, he roared, “Time to die, Mr. Moose!”

He twisted Moose's head until it snapped before ripping it off his body.

Blood spurted out in every direction, making for a harrowing sight. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

By then, Moose's blood was already cold.

At the same time, the ice wall in the air gradually disintegrated.

Jonathan flicked Hallowed Sword into the air again with his feet and grabbed it.

He lunged forward and slashed Moose's torso with it, severing it in half with a thundering crack.

As if it wasn't enough, Jonathan gave it three more horizontal slashes followed by three vertical cuts.

By doing so, he had sliced and diced Moose's body into countless pieces.

He followed up with a barrage of kicks, sending Moose's residual flesh in different directions.

With mushy flesh flying everywhere, the bloodiness of the scene would traumatize anyone who saw it. In fact, it was even more terrifying than the horror movies on TV.

Torrence crushed Moose's head with a devastating punch, spilling the latter's brains all over the floor.

Jonathan and Torrence weren't trying to be brutal. They were just afraid of the powerful primordial spirit enabling Moose to resurrect himself again.

It wasn't until they were certain Moose was truly dead that they heaved a sigh of relief.

Their hands were already drenched in sweat when they caught their breath.

They had gone through a situation so dangerous that they were on the brink of losing their lives.

Upon exchanging glances, both of them could see how relieved the other was after surviving the brush with death.

They slumped to the ground and began panting heavily. They weren't physically tired but were reeling from the mental toll the battle had taken on them.

Impressed with Jonathan's resourcefulness, Torrence asked, “How did you know that your blood can melt the ice prison?”

Jonathan exhaled before replying, “I wasn't sure, to be honest. I just did it out of desperation. Since ice is considered cold and blood, especially when it comes from martial artists like us, is considered hot, I decided to give it a try.”

Blown away by the explanation, Torrence commented, “When we were staring death in the face back then, I didn't think of this at all. You truly are a clever one.”

Jonathan responded with a laugh. “Let's not go overboard with the flattery.” After a brief pause, he wondered out loud, “Do you think Skylar is dead? What about Moose's puppet primordial spirit?”

Torrence replied, “The puppet primordial spirit will disintegrate without a physical host. That said, Theos can still materialize it, but even if she does so, she has no way of sending it over here. Skylar should be dead. The chief elder's Door of Enlightenment is no joke at all.”

“When you say should be, it usually means the opposite.” Jonathan scratched his nose. “F*ck!” he swore the moment he finished, for he saw a white figure from afar.

Isn't that Skylar?

By then, Jonathan could recognize Skylar anywhere.

At the same time, Torrence had also noticed Skylar.

Both of them sprang to their feet immediately.

“What should we do? Fight or run?” Torrence asked.

Jonathan replied in a grim tone, “If we run, there'll be no peace for us. His pursuit will be relentless. And I'm worried that his body will evolve further with time. By then, taking him down would be extremely difficult.” After a slight hesitation, Jonathan declared, “I'm sure both of us combined are strong enough to defeat him.”

With his spirits lifted, Torrence brandished Hallowed Sword and said, “All right, then. We'll kill this son

of a b*tch today.”

Having gone through hell and high water together, both men had established a bond so strong that words were not needed. On top of that, the camaraderie of fighting side by side was a beautiful sensation to them.

As Skylar maintained an emotionless look on his face, Jonathan and Torrence approached him on both sides.

Given both men's decisive characters, they sprang into action with their thoughts in sync.

Jonathan was the first to lunge forward with Shadow Steps before unleashing Dragon Claw at Skylar's neck.

At the same time, Torrence dashed forward and thrust his sword at Skylar's torso.

It was during the two men's simultaneous attacks that something strange happened—Skylar vanished into thin air.

To be precise, he was moving so fast that he looked as if he had disappeared. All of a sudden, he appeared right behind Torrence and slashed his sword at him.

The icy sensation of the blade bearing down upon him gave Torrence the shock of his life.

Skylar's attack made it evident that his capability was now more terrifying than before.

In the nick of time, Torrence managed to dodge with a body roll to the side.

Skylar charged forward and slashed his sword at Torrence's torso again.

His swordsmanship had become more direct. Instead of any techniques, it would cut and thrust with raw power.

Despite the simplicity of the moves, Torrence had no chance of counterattacking at all.

Just as Torrence had no way of avoiding Skylar's attack, Jonathan immediately realized what was going on.

He let out a roar as he unleashed a palm strike on Skylar's sword.

Without even looking at Jonathan, Skylar turned his sword around and thrust it toward Jonathan's palm.

The sudden change in direction caused Jonathan to turn pale. He avoided the tip of Skylar's blade with Antelope Rhythm.

Having made it just in time, Jonathan could feel the sword brush past his ear.

Skylar bore down on Jonathan again by stabbing his sword toward the latter's heart.

This time, his sword flew forward with blistering speed.

Heart throbbing violently, Jonathan somersaulted once more to avoid the attack.

It was then that Torrence jumped into the fray to rescue Jonathan.

As he furiously brought his sword down on Skylar, Skylar thrust his blade toward the tip of Hallowed Sword. The moment contact was made, Skylar spun his body around and fired out a bolt of spiraling electricity that struck Torrence after traveling through Hallowed Sword.

While Torrence was jolted by it, Skylar stepped forward and knocked Hallowed Sword away with his own.

Regardless of how hard Torrence tried, he was unable to maintain his grip on Hallowed Sword.

After it flew out of his hand, Torrence had no choice but to face Skylar with his bare fists.

“F*ck! How are you going to fight that way? Run!” Jonathan screamed as he grabbed a few snowballs and threw them forcefully at Skylar's head.

Although they were just snowballs, their power wasn't to be underestimated. As they whizzed toward their target, the power they carried was equivalent to that of bombs.

Skylar furrowed his brows and evaded them.

Jonathan lamented the fact that he didn't have a gun in his hand. Otherwise, he would have put a few bullets in Skylar's head.

Nonetheless, his snowballs were still powerful enough to pressure Skylar into falling back in order to dodge them.

Knowing that he didn't stand a chance anymore, Torrence jumped to his feet and escaped as fast as he could.

The sight of him running caused Jonathan to also turn around and flee.
