Chapter 537 The Intense Kiss
Chapter 537 The Intense Kiss
“Hold on. It seems like we've forgotten someone!” Walrion suddenly exclaimed.
“Who?” Jonathan couldn't help but ask.
Yeverie paled, exclaiming, “Aurora!”
“D*mmit!” Jonathan finally remembered. Aurora was that Level Three Immortal Stage aloof beauty! I recall she was deeply loyal to Prince Solorel. She even risked her life to protect me, and she came in with us. I can't believe I actually forgot about her.
“Why didn't you say so earlier?” Jonathan reprimanded Walrion.
With a sense of helplessness, Walrion said, “Your Majesty, ever since we met, you've been so busy! I haven't had a chance to report the matter to you!”
Yeverie was also blaming herself. After she got excited about seeing Jonathan, how busy he became, and then separated from Clarabelle, she had completely forgotten about Aurora.
As for Mabel and Beatrix, they weren't as familiar with Aurora. Their previous experience in Stanley's place was too harsh. Even after meeting Jonathan, they were still reflecting on Jonathan's experiences. In reality, no amount of explanation was helpful as the two of them just couldn't remember Aurora!
Jonathan wasn't sure how to find Aurora because his knowledge about her was too limited. Even searching for her with Heavenly Compass also required some clues. Hence, Jonathan asked Walrion for some clues about Aurora.
Afterward, he asked everyone to wait. Then, Jonathan instructed Lynn to close the passage first. Following that, Jonathan went to Brightspring Island to find Narma.
If one were to compare Aurora's experiences with those of others, hers could be considered the most peaceful and joyful. Perhaps it was because she encountered so much hardship in her early years that the heavens had shown her extra compassion.
After arriving at Moranta, Aurora found herself amidst a snowy tundra. She quickly left the snowfields, making her way to the Paradiso. Aurora was determined to find Jonathan and his companions despite her aloof demeanor.
Subsequently, Aurora joined a local mercenary group. She became an exceptional mercenary. The reason she joined the mercenaries was due to their mobility, which allowed her to gather a lot of information.
Unfortunately, despite Aurora's painstaking search, there was no sign of Jonathan and his team.
It would be strange if she could find them.
After all, Jonathan and his group never set foot in the Paradiso. Jonathan and Yeverie were constantly on the run in Pollerton. Even Theos couldn't catch them.
It was even more tragic for Mabel and her group. From the moment they entered, they were captured and left to die in a mysterious cave.
Aurora had been searching for them for over a month, but there was no sign of Jonathan and his team. She was beginning to feel somewhat disheartened.
On that day, she arrived alone in the snowy region. She always felt that Jonathan and the others should be nearby. That was what she thought later.
The light snow fell incessantly while Aurora traveled alone.
In fact, Aurora was quite accustomed to a solitary lifestyle. If she were to live there forever, she wouldn't feel out of place.
However, Aurora always remembered Solorel's instructions, which was to assist Jonathan.
In the midst of a snowstorm that filled the sky, there was not a living soul in sight. The vast, endless white snow could drive a person to madness.
Yet, Aurora appeared very serene, dressed in a coarse cloth shirt with a coat thrown over it. Even in such ordinary attire, it was hard to conceal her beauty and elegance.
It was at that moment that Aurora witnessed a magical scene. Before her, a portal of emptiness formed. Following that, Jonathan, clad in fluttering white robes, stepped out.
When Aurora was a mercenary, she already knew about the existence of magic. However, she had rarely encountered magicians, as the magicians here were all high and mighty.
Hence, the scene before her eyes was still quite stunning.
Even with Aurora's calm demeanor, she couldn't help but express surprise. “Your Majesty...”
“You've had a tough time, Aurora,” Jonathan said with a slight sigh.
Aurora asked, “How come you're here, Your Majesty?”
Jonathan said, “I can't explain it to you clearly at the moment. Let's go. Everyone has gathered and is ready to return to the boundless universe. We'll talk more about it in the future!”
Aurora wasn't the type to pry too much, so she nodded. Following that, Jonathan led Aurora through the gateway into the void portal.
Before long, Jonathan and Aurora appeared before everyone. When Walrion and Yeverie saw Aurora, they were incredibly excited. Yeverie threw herself into Aurora's arms, calling out, “Aurora!”
Aurora missed Yeverie, too.
Walrion breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Aurora, I'm glad you're okay!”
“Let's get going. Once we're back in the boundless universe, we can talk more,” Jonathan suggested. Then, he gave Aurora Jeff's number. “After returning to the boundless universe, everyone should call this number to regroup!”
Aurora nodded her head.
Subsequently, one after another, everyone entered the gateway vortex.
Torrence was a bit nervous but was second to last to jump in. Finally, it was Jonathan's turn. Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
As Jonathan stepped in, he suddenly found himself facing a peculiar sight, which was surrounded by impenetrable layers of clouds.
“This isn't a passage.” Jonathan was taken aback. Naturally, he wouldn't be afraid of Lynn playing tricks, especially since they were still in Moranta. There, Jonathan was the absolute ruler.
Lynn couldn't possibly be up to any mischief there.
Just then, Lynn appeared before Jonathan.
Jonathan couldn't help but look at Lynn with confusion.
Dressed in white, Lynn was as stunningly beautiful as ever. However, she no longer seemed to keep people at arm's length like she used to.
“Will you never return after leaving?” Lynn asked softly.
Jonathan was slightly taken aback, then said, “It's hard to say. There are many mysteries within the Astro Scepter. However, I still can't use it in the main world. After some thought, I think it's actually safest in your hands. Maybe one day, I'll find a way to come back and ask you for the Astro Scepter. Or maybe I won't be able to find a way, and I won't come back. Or perhaps, I'll be killed by an enemy. There are just too many uncertainties.” He paused for a moment, then laughed and said, “You're not going to miss me, are you?”
“If I say I can't bear to let you go, will you stay?” Lynn's cheeks turned a slight shade of red as she unexpectedly said this.
Jonathan was taken aback. He was only teasing Lynn, but he didn't expect her to respond in such a way.
“If you're willing to stay, I can announce to the followers of Supreme Sect that you and I are to be wed. From then on, we will jointly lead Supreme Sect.” Lynn remained very calm as she said, “I've thought about it for a long time, and I feel that if anyone in this world can make my heart flutter, it'll probably only be you.”
When Jonathan heard those words, his emotions surged like a tidal wave!
However, in the end, he could only give a bitter smile and said, “I'm not interested in Supreme Sect, but I am interested in you. Despite this, I must leave!”
Lynn's eyes showed no hint of disappointment when she heard that. “I knew you would make this choice. However, I didn't want to have any regrets, so I chose to speak up!”
“I don't want to live with regrets either, so forgive me!” Suddenly, Jonathan stepped forward, wrapping his arm around the soft waist of Lynn, and then kissed her warm, tender lips!
In that instant, Lynn's eyes widened, and for a fleeting moment, her mind went blank!
Soon after, she came to her senses. It was a feeling she had never experienced before, and slowly, she closed her eyes.
Jonathan greedily savored Lynn's sweet saliva. That incredibly rich and intoxicating kiss was like a fine wine that had been aged for a hundred years, leaving an unforgettable impression on her!
After a long while, Jonathan and Lynn parted ways.
“I should get going, goodbye!” He turned around and jumped into the passage.
“Goodbye!” Lynn's cheeks flushed as she whispered. She knew she would forever remember that kiss. She would also remember Jonathan and the moment they shared together.
For Jonathan, he could indeed seize that opportunity to claim Lynn for himself. He feared not that Lynn would object. However, his act would be highly disrespectful to Lynn. After all, he'd be treating her as a casual woman to be taken advantage of before leaving.
Often times, Jonathan had a set of values in his heart!
The feelings between men and women could become a beautiful longing, and that longing did not necessarily have to evolve into a relationship.
If they couldn't be together, they might as well move on.
After stepping into the vortex of the passage, Jonathan found himself once again in the vibrant, multicolored mirror world. Then, he stepped into the void, and his vision went blank. Suddenly, he felt weightless and began to plummet downwards.
“D*mn!” Despite his experience, Jonathan couldn't help but show a hint of panic. He did his best to protect his face and vital areas.
Bang!
Soon, Jonathan felt a jolt through his entire body, causing discomfort in all his internal organs. He felt as if he had slammed into the roof of a car.
Of course, Jonathan himself was unharmed as his body was incredibly robust. He immediately opened his eyes, and screams echoed in his ears.
Jonathan immediately noticed that he was surrounded by a small lake and a grove of trees. He had just landed on the roof of a Volkswagen Lavida, which had already caved in from the impact.
The car was parked by the side of the road. The location seemed to be either the outskirts or a rural area.
Shortly after, Jonathan climbed down from the top of the car. He immediately witnessed a comical and risqué scene. A couple, caught in the act in their car, were in a state of panic. They were still undressed from the waist down while their upper bodies were clothed.
The man and woman appeared to be in their thirties. The man had a bit of a belly, while the woman was quite attractive with a nice figure.
Alas, beautiful women would often be dominated by ugly men.
The man and woman were scared out of their wits. Indeed, Jonathan's sudden appearance was beyond comprehension. After all, there were neither tall buildings nor big mountains there. Yet, suddenly, a person fell from the sky. How could that not scare someone half to death?
The man might even get so frightened that he experienced some sort of erectile issue.
Jonathan wasn't that heartless. He turned around and said, “You guys better get dressed quickly!”
This must be Chanaea, and they must be Chanaean. That was Jonathan's speculation.
Upon hearing Jonathan speak, the man and woman hurriedly returned to the car to get dressed.
The quality of the car was indeed commendable. Jonathan also managed to take some evasive actions when he fell. Otherwise, the couple might have met an unjust end.
After the man got into the car, he came out quickly. The woman, being shy, didn't dare to come out.
The man asked Jonathan nervously, “Are you a human or a ghost?”
At that very moment, it was eight in the evening. The moon was stunningly beautiful, casting a silvery- grey hue over the earth.
The evenings in the countryside were exceptionally tranquil.
Jonathan looked somewhat annoyed at the man and said, “Do I look like a ghost to you?”
