Chapter 152 Buy Her A Villa (Part Two)

Chapter 152 Buy Her A Villa (Part Two)

Cherry angrily looked Jackson, and said, "Jackson Chu, my name is Cherry Shen!"

Jackson cheekily grinned at her, and said, "But you're also Mrs. Chu, aren't you?"

Cherry looked at Jackson's cheeky grin and didn't know how to deal with him. She said, "I don't want to

talk with you anymore; I want to go home."

She then took her bag, stood up from her seat, and left.

When Jackson saw that Cherry actually wanted to leave, he also stood up. He grabbed her by the arm,

and said, "Let's pay the bill and leave together."

After they went to the cashier's desk, Jackson paid the bill with his credit card. They then took the lift

down to the underground parking lot.

Jackson grabbed Cherry's hand and walked slowly. He was afraid that she would leave him too soon if

he walked fast, and wanted to spend as much time as he could with her.

Cherry didn't say anything and walked slowly, just as Jackson did.

Jackson suddenly stopped, and as he lowered his head, asked, "Can you stay with me?"

Cherry looked at Jackson's face, and firmly replied, "No, I can't, I really have to go home." She didn't

want to refuse him, but she had to go home because of her son Joe.

Jackson then took Cherry into his arms and tightly hugged her. He whispered in her ear, "Baby, you can

stay in Wilson's house for a short time, but you have to remember that eventually you'll have to come

back to our home. I'm waiting for you..."

Cherry was moved by Jackson's words, and in that moment really wanted to tell Jackson that they had

a son together called Joe. She thought that if she did, then she and Joe could come back home with

Jackson, and then they would live happily ever after.

Cherry wanted to tell Jackson, but somehow, she couldn't. She started to say, "Jackson, I..."

Jackson knew that Cherry wanted to say something, so he loosed his arms around her and genuinely

looked into her eyes. He asked, "What's the matter?"

Eventually, Cherry shook her head, and said, "Nothing, I'll go home now. It's late, and you also should

go home earlier."

Cherry then stood on her tiptoes, and after she kissed Jackson's face, she turned around and left. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Jackson felt his heart ache as he watched Cherry leave, because he believed that because she was

his wife she had to stay with him at almost all times. Why did she have to leave? Why couldn't they be

together?

Jackson didn't leave until Cherry's car left the parking lot.

She drove home and found that her family was eating in the dining room. Elsa saw that Cherry was

back home, and immediately said, "Cherr, come and have dinner with us!"

Joe was thrilled when he saw her, and shouted, "Mommy, mommy, Grandma made delicious foods

today. Come and eat some with us!"

As she changed her shoes, Cherry said, "I had dinner just now, so I'm not hungry. Enjoy your meal!"

Elsa was a bit surprised, and asked, "Really?"

"Yes, really. I had dinner with a friend of mine. Don't mind me, enjoy your meal, " said Cherry.

Wilson didn't utter a word, and thought that Cherry might have had dinner with Jackson.

Joe still didn't give up, and in a pettishly charming manner said, "Mommy, can't you come and eat with

me? I want you to eat with me!"

Joe was so cute that Cheery could have never refused him. The answer to his question had been clear

from the start. She then walked into the dining room, sat beside Joe, and said, "Alright, mommy is here.

Now, eat your dinner, okay?"

Joe replied, "Okay, " and then lowered his head to eat the food in front of him.

Cherry caressed Joe's head and was quite content, because as long as Joe was happy, she was

happy.

After dinner, Cherry wanted to tell Wilson something, and she asked him to come to his study to speak

in private.

Wilson came to the study and saw that Cherry was browsing through a book. He walked up to her and

asked, "Cherry, what's wrong?"

When Cherry saw Wilson, she excitedly said, "Wilson, you don't need to be worried about your

company any longer. I asked John Ye for his help, and he said he would be more than happy to provide

you with a helping hand."

Wilson was a bit surprised by this, and said, "John Ye? Isn't he the governor of the city?"

Cherry nodded, and said, "Yes, he is. He said that he'll help you; I'll call him tonight and arrange an

appointment. You two can meet and discuss everything in more detail tomorrow."

But Wilson didn't really care about the issue of his company, and instead asked, "Cherry, didn't you ask

Jackson for help?"

In a cold tone, Cherry answered, "I did, initially, but before I met Jackson I came across John, and

because he offered to help, I didn't need to ask Jackson anymore, and instead just had dinner with

him."

Initially, Wilson kept silence after he heard Cherry.

After some time passed, Wilson said, "Thank you, Cherry."

"Never mind, Wilson. You've helped me countless times, so there's no need to thank me, " said Cherry.

Wilson looked at Cherry's smile face and smiled back.

In the morning, Jackson and Derek wanted to go back to the army base to check if things were doing

fine there.

Derek was driving the car and Jackson was resting with his eyes closed in the front passenger's seat.

Derek looked at Jackson and asked, "What? Didn't you get Cherry back yet?"

Jackson thought for a while, and said, "She'll be back soon. All I need is to give her some more time."

"I noticed that Cherry would rather live in a villa than in your old dilapidated apartment. Shouldn't you

buy her a villa? Anyway, it won't cost you that much, " said Derek discontented.
